A la fi dels anys noranta, l’aiguada de tinta s’imposa com a mètode de creació singular. La aigualida de tinta esdevé un instrument simple però molt poderós per al desenvolupament dels projectes de RCR Arquitectes des d’una síntesi plàstica i conceptual. Una intuïció i cristal·lització d’una idea inicial queden fixades en unes aiguades de tinta, que permeten seguir el procés de creació d’un projecte. Des de la simplicitat d’una primera intuïció fins al resultat final, de gran complexitat, els dibuixos, els esbossos i els organigrames, serveixen per pensar i comunicar un projecte. Amb l’aiguada de tinta aconsegueixen abstreure la seva essència encara imprecisa en traços líquids que s’assemblen a el món líquid dels somnis. Les aiguades de tinta es presten a la transparència, a les capes, als vels, que no comprometen el resultat final, mentre que sedueixen durant el trànsit cap a la materialització de l’espai o la captació de el record d’una atmosfera, densitats, colors o qualitats matèriques. Amb el temps han anat adquirint autonomia artística fins a conformar una obra sobre paper que ja no vol ser projecte sinó expressió en si mateixa. Aquesta secció s’articula en tres apartats: dibuix conceptual, dibuix artístic i espai de paper.
