キャラクターごとのお話を読みながらCOMと対戦を進めるモード。試合内容に応じてルートが分岐し、さらにピンチの時にはキャラクターが助けに現れ共闘してくれるぞ！同じキャラクターでもルートによって様々な会話パターンが用意されているので何度もプレイして楽しもう。上達する事でGGSTの世界がどんどん広がっていく！

[H3] デュエルタワー

本作のオンラインロビーは自身の腕前に応じた階層へ振り分けられる構造になっている。各階層は腕前に応じた入場制限が掛かっており、勝利を重ねると高い階層に自動で移動する。階の移動には試合内容の分析結果も影響しているので自然と同じ腕前のプレイヤーが同じ階層に集う仕組みだ。入門者から上級者まで誰でも手に汗握るバトルを楽しめるぞ！

[H3] デジタルフィギュア

キャラクター、家具、エフェクトなどを自由に配置し、オリジナルのシーンを作って楽しめるモード。キャラクターの表情やポーズ、カメラの画角やフィルターなど様々な調整を行うことができる！

[H3] コンボメーカー

オリジナルの連続技や連係を作成でき、作成した連続技を他のプレイヤーに公開できます。また、他のプレイヤーが作成した連続技を検索してプレイすることもできるので、新たな連続技の習得や難易度の高い連続技の練習に活かそう！

[H3] ストーリー

前作から好評だったストーリーモードは本作でも健在！GEARを生み出して聖戦を引き起こし、人類史上最大最悪の大罪人と呼ばれる”あの男”こと｢飛鳥＝R＝クロイツ｣が米国政府に投降。壮絶な人生を歩んできた主人公ソルが下す、最後の決断とは……？

[H3] ウォールブレイク

ステージ端に相手を追い込んだ状態で一定の攻撃を与えると、壁が破壊されるド派手な演出と共に相手を吹き飛ばし別ステージへ遷移するシステム。吹き飛ばした相手には追加ダメージを与えることができるほか、自身の攻撃力が増加するなど、キャラクターが一定時間強化される恩恵を受けることができる。

[H3] ロマンキャンセル

自分の攻撃をキャンセルしながら衝撃波を生み出し、当たった相手は動きがスローになる。攻撃時は攻めをさらに強力に、ガード時は相手の攻めを凌ぐ手段として活用しよう。使い方によって何倍もゲームが奥深くなるシステムだ。

[H3] サイクバースト

バーストゲージが100％の時に使用できる緊急脱出システム。相手のコンボ中に発動することで相手を吹き飛ばしコンボを中断させることができる。

[H3] 覚醒必殺技

テンションゲージ半分を使用して発動できる強力な必殺技。シームレスで描かれるド派手な演出と共に、大ダメージを与えることができる。

[H3] カウンターブリッツ

相手に攻撃がカウンターヒットした時に「サイクバーストゲージ」を50%使って連続攻撃を繰り出す。
カウンターブリッツ中はサイクバーストが使用できず、手軽に纏ったダメージを与えることができる。
また、端の相手に決めることができれば、必ずウォールブレイクする。

[H3] ディフレクトシールド

バーストゲージ半分を使用して発動できる、シーズン3より新たに追加された特殊ガードシステム。ガード成功時に相手との距離を大きく離すことができる。強力な猛攻を凌ぐ手段として非常に有効だ。

[H3] DUEL TOWER

The online lobby is divided into floors for different skill levels.Each floor has an entry restriction for players above that level, and as you score wins you automatically move to higher floors.You move floors depending on your actions during matches, meaning you naturally end up facing players of the same skill level.Tense matches await, for everyone from new to advanced players!

[H3] Digital Figure

In Digital Figure Mode, you can create your own unique scene by placing characters, furniture, and effects. You can change the characters' expressions and poses, as well as the camera angle and filter!

[H3] Combo Maker

Create and share your own original combos and setplay!You can search for and try out combos created by other players, too. Learn new combos, and challenge yourself to difficult ones!

[H3] Story

The acclaimed Story Mode makes a return! Asuka R. Kreutz, known as "That Man" and the worst criminal in all of history, creator of Gears and instigator of the Crusades, surrenders to the U.S. government. What decision will the hero, Sol, make in the end...?

[H3] Wall Break

Once you've got the opponent cornered, landing more attacks will break the stage wall, sending the opponent flying to the next area in a thrilling cinematic.In addition to dealing extra damage, Wall Break grants your character temporary buffs, such as added attack power.

[H3] Roman Cancel

Roman Cancel sends out a shockwave while canceling your attack, and causes slow-down for the opponent on hit.Use it while on offense to overwhelm the opponent, and as a means to escape the opponent's attacks while on defense. Depending on how it's used, Roman Cancel can open up further depth to the gameplay!

[H3] Psych Burst

Psych Burst gets you out of trouble at the cost of 100% of the Burst Gauge.When used during the opponent's combo, you can send them flying back, ending their combo.

[H3] Overdrives

Overdrives are powerful special moves that cost half of the Tension Gauge.Deal massive damage with seamlessly integrated, exciting cinematics!

[H3] COUNTER BLITZ

When you land a counter hit, you can spend 50% of the Burst Gauge to unleash a follow-up attack.
During Counter Blitz, Psych Burst cannot be used, but it allows you to deal solid damage with ease.
If performed against an opponent near the corner, it will always result in a wall break.
Please note that it cannot be activated from counter hits caused by jabs such as P or K, nor from normal or special moves that cannot be canceled.

[H3] Deflect Shield

A unique blocking mechanic added in Season 3, activated at the cost of half of the Burst gauge. It creates space between the player and opponent when used to block an attack. This is an excellent tool to escape a relentless offense.

버스트 게이지가 100%일 때 사용할 수 있는 긴급 탈출 시스템으로, 상대의 콤보 중에 발동함으로써 상대를 날려버리고 콤보를 중단시킬 수 있습니다.

[H3] 각성 필살기

텐션 게이지 절반을 사용해서 발동하는 강력한 필살기.대전 중에 이어지는 화려한 연출과 함께 큰 대미지를 줄 수 있습니다.

[H3] 와일드 어설트

시즌 3에서 새롭게 추가된 강력한 돌진기를 펼치는 공격 시스템. 대미지를 늘리기 위해 연속기로 사용하거나, 강습 수단으로 사용하는 등 캐릭터에 따라 성능이 다르다. 버스트 게이지를 50% 소비하므로, 신중하게 사용하자.

[H3] 디플렉트 실드

시즌 3에서 새롭게 추가된 특수 가드 시스템으로, 발동 시 버스트 게이지를 50% 소비한다. 가드 성공 시 상대와의 거리를 크게 벌릴 수 있다. 강력한 맹공을 견딜 수 있는 매우 우수한 방어 수단이다.
