How to use KR4/KR1?
NTG35 LEDs are recommended for good tint, beam pattern, high CRI and free of greenish tint.
Noctigon KR4 puts a high lumen output but generates a lot of heat at the same time, please acknowledge before purchasing. Unprotected, flat top 18650 battery works only (not included in the price), KR4 does not work with protected battery.
The Lume X1 boost driver upgrade is available for the Luminous SST-20, SFT-25R, Nichia 219B R9080, Nichia 519A R9080, NTG35, UV LEDs etc, 3 Amps per LED (UV LED is 1.2 per one). The boost driver is not compatible with Nichia E21A, Nichia E17A. Note that the boost driver output is limited in comparison to the default driver, it is more efficient (90-95%) with a longer running time and less heat.
The Lume X1 is a high power driver - for best performance, recommended to use low ESR, high CDR 18650 unprotected cells: - Molicel P30B, P28B, P28A, P26A (grey) - LG HJ2 (lilac), HG2 (brown) - Samsung 20S (blue), 30Q (pink) - BAK N18650CNP (pink) - Murata/Sony VTC5A (green) Please note that this flashlight is not a toy and must be operated responsibly.

It's Good, but a bit plain
February 3, 2022
I have this in the same emitter as a other lights, the SST-20 4000K 95CRI and it works great. The driver is better in this light than the D4V2 driver. It runs longer and is more steady in output. More efficient.
My only complaint with this light is it's a bit plain. It seems like it was designed to fill a tailswitch space in the lineup. It's not really special to me like Hank's other designs. It's sleek, but I like the busy, knurled look of the rest of the lineup. I'm not in love with the button's action either. It seems loose, but it has held up, sp it's just the feel of the button, not the durability.
Those opinions of mine about the design aside, this is a great light functionally. I find it less useful in the 18350 mode than the D4V2 because it gets weird actuating the tail button with the little tube and there is no magnetic tail which I think really works good on the D4V2.
Side note, this may be the perfect off-hand light when using another tool in your primary hand. You can hold it up high with your thumb on the button. This is my primary use for this light with the 18650 tube.
Even a B+ Hank effort is an A++ compared to other brands. This only pales in comparison to the venerable D4V2.

Favorite Floody!
April 19, 2021
Just bought my 4th in a different configuration. Perfect flood for everyday carry. 18350 option makes storage even more convenient, while barely sacrificing power and endurance. I work in a rough environment. Things fall out of pockets and off of ladders all of the time. These lights could probably take a bullet and still work. Kudos! Amazing products!

This light is overbuilt not overpriced. Gives so many options to different uses cases (high cri to spaceship landing light, its possible). Beautiful addition to any edc collection built for daily use.
Its a pocket lightsaber and you wont regret it(as long as you dont shine it in your eyes!) I Big time recommend this light to anyone ready to carry a high powered beautiful light.

Love at first sight
October 20, 2024
Prior finding out about Hank light, I thought about buying 2 flashlight in order for me to have a flood and throw EDC.
Stumbled upon this brand on YouTube and I immediately fall in love with it. Without a hesitation, I placed my order and it arrived 2 weeks later safely.
Eyeing for the D4Sv2 after this!

Lightweight, holds a charge long and a lot of cool features. Working outdoors 12-14 hrs a day this is a must have in my pocket. No other light this size is this powerful. I got 2 I liked it so much. Nate M [H5] Simply Awesome May 20, 2024 This is my first Hanklight and I now understand the hype. What an awesome flashlight. Build quality is superb. Feels great in my hand. Uses a 26650 so you get fantastic runtimes as moderate output, especially if you opt for the boost driver. The hight CRI 4K SST20's produce a really nice beam. Throws pretty good. I really love the Anduril 2 UI especially with the aux RGB's. Once you get the hang of cycling through settings it's so much fun to play with. This is my first Emisar, but definitely won't be my last. I need some dual channel fun next. WOTR [H5] The best light out there? December 27, 2022 It has been my daily carry in an industrial environment for almost 3 years. It has been dropped, hit, run through the washer and most recently thrown on the pavement at 50kmph (electric unicycle cut out.) I know there are tougher flashlights out there- but this one will survive any reasonable (and some unreasonable) abuse. I use the magnetic cap to illuminate areas holding it in place for hours at a time. Its bright enough to gauge the fluid level in a 4 million liter tank yet has an unreal run time if you don't have it cranked. While a little heavy for some people's edc preference, it slips in a side pocket of your Carhartts or a jacket pocket and is the best, most versatile light you will ever own. I own a few lights that Hank makes. All are quality, but this remains my #1 recommendation. This is also a good place to mention his customer service. Twice I placed an order and realized that I preferred a different led. His communication was always fast and he swapped it out before shipping. I can't say enough good things about this light (or any of the lights Hank produces.) Buy the stainless bezel and admire the proportions of this light, the precision machining and the flawless finish (at least until you throw it on the road and gouge it a little.) They are beautiful examples of functional art. Fred [H5] Best thrower June 26, 2022 This is my go to for a thrower, built like a tank and the osram W2 is amazing. Steffen Schmidt [H5] A perfecty crafted high quality flashlight May 16, 2021 After a problematic shipment (due to Brexit, perfectly handled by Hank) I received my flashlight today. I have to say the design and build quality are perfect, the LEDs are selected exactly as requested, I can recommend this product without a doubt, and Hank has helped a lot by handling delays from Brexit deliveries. Thanks Hank, this is not my last flashlight from your shop! Slawek [H5] The best January 6, 2021 You can find brighter flashlights. You can find bigger flashlights but You cannot find better one. Adam K. [H5] Amazing and the highest of quality. December 26, 2020 I purchased two D4V2s, one full size and one stubby and I'm afraid I might to buy one if everything Hank has to offer. I can't recommend this light enough, it gets good battery life (settings dependent). The blue is absolutely stunning. Glenn [H5] This is the hotrod of lights. December 23, 2020 Wow, just wow. This light is bright and has a great throw and appropriate flood. The aux lights are the bells and the 4 emitters that are so bright they heat up enough to burn stuff are the whistles. That being said, becareful this is not a toy don't let kids play with this, they can go blind or even burn something if not their hands. I think I'll buy more just to have the power of the sun in my pocket. Iken [H5] Its my EDC December 17, 2020 I dont own many lights and because of this one I dont think Iam buying more in near future :) Love the weight/size and all the perks of anduril (have some glitches with firmwire but manage to work around it) Its ergonomic fits perfectly in my hand and switch is easy to operate. So small but eficient regarding output and temperature protection which you can manage to your own desire. Hiking, biking, around the house its my daily carry. Magnet is strong and comes handy in many situation. Hanks is responsive and ready to hellp so many thanks to him for this amazing flashlight. Antonius22 [H5] Hank, Bringer of Light. November 20, 2020 Hank is a rock star in the Flashlight world. This product is by far the best flashlight that I own and I am utterly impressed that one man can out preform all the flashlight companies we have. Nitecore, Fenix, Olight, Thrunite etc. are all hot garbage compared to what Hank puts out. Hank probably has tons of illegitimate child due to the amount of poon that he slays with his flashlight game. Finally, Hank's flashlights not only light the darkness. They light your soul. MiYasmahhh [H5] First light to grab when going outdoors @#@ August 9, 2020 The d4 craze is real: finally a manufacturer has made it possible to get the features of a homemade pocket rocket into a production light. The V2 running Anduril is both intuitive and packed with features. The d4 is astonishingly bright for a small light, but only for a short time -- this is where the d4s steps in. The D4s is capable of controlled voltage output up to 500 lumens. The D4 pocket rocket only has digitally controlled voltage up to 150 lumens. This is the heuristic you should consider when comparing the two lights, as it is the brightest effective runtime for extended use. This comparison denotes the delineation of their intended uses: the d4 is a great EDC that can achieve a lot of brightness in a pinch, and the D4s is the outdoor model with the necessary bulk for sustained use. The D4s battery and extra thermal mass allow you to run higher levels without overheating, but will not fit in your pocket. I adore the shorty tube for the d4s, in which case it works great in a Molle pouch off the belt. My advice is to get both: the D4 for EDC, and the D4s for outdoor use. Congrats on a great product!!! Art [H5] Amazing light May 26, 2020 Bought the 5000k sst-20, love this flashlight. I have a couple fw3a, astrolux, thrunite, olight, and this is my favorite light by far. Size, battery power from the 26650, and brightness and heat dissipation are all pluses for me! Want to buy another with a Cree in it, but really wish there was a way to get the green body color, I bought the gray and wish I would’ve bought the green since it was available at the time. Probably will never see that available again, but still my favorite light, cannot go wrong! papadopol [H5] Must have for bragging rights :) April 24, 2020 I bought it off somebody, as soon as I tested it. The blue colour is my favourite. haven't touched such a nice matt anodisation yet. The build quality is flawless. The implementation of the UI is also what I consider hight tech that must be present in a 2020 light. It is a shame that it stepps down rather quickly. But this is phisics. I'm sure in the future we will have more efficient leds and you guys will still be putting them in great flashlights. p.s. Also put in an order for the smaller D4v2, just out of curiosity. Danimal [H5] Awesome! March 24, 2020 This is an amazing little flashlight..especially for its size..! Everyone who has seen it is amazed by its power, and with the 26650 batteries it has a decent run time, even on full power and the build quality is excellent. I just have to be sure to keep my eyes on it, because I suspect it could easily grow legs and walk away, if you get my meaning..! Thanks Emisar for making this..! Quentin [H5] Freakin lovely flashlight March 24, 2020 Received it yesterday, and I just love it! Way more powerfull than we really need in our life normally, but for the fun when you activate turbo it will astonish your friends for sure. Took the XP-L-HI V3 3A 5000K, it's the perfect mix of throw and flood for me, and no tint shift. And yes 4300 lumens is f*cking bright Cutting_illumination [H5] Slightly big for EDC BUT excellent winter carry light January 4, 2020 the 26650 battery makes this light too big for EDC when you are running for groceries. However this is perfect when you are wearing a bigger coat. THen Anduril Ui allows for you to basically do anything with it and if you buy the adaptor, you can input your own coding into this light. definitely would buy again from Hank as he is always insanely quick with email responses and attentive. Annoyed [H5] Battery is not included January 1, 2020 Sent this link to my wife so she could purchase it for me as a gift. Could not be more annoyed, while it says batteries not included (we missed that), that is fine. How about you offer the batteries for purchase on the site... Not only as an add-on..... Ill have to shop somewhere else i guess, thanks a lot. Sincerely Annoyed Customer Memoj [H5] Best built November 22, 2019 Hey, first of all, I want to thank you. The lamp is a masterpiece, great workmanship, super firmware and the combination of the 4 led with rgb is simply unbeatable. Emisar is one of the best brands for flashlights and I hope you continue to produce such great masterpieces hank! Best JohnDragonMan [H5] The Perfect EDC. November 3, 2019 This is perfection. being the larger style it supports the larger higher capacity 26650 lithium cells. as weight goes, its nice to be able to "feel" it in your pocket, yet not have it heavy enough to pull your trousers down. The Anduril UI is again perfection.it has some ammazing modes like "flickering candle mode" and "Lightning mode" where it mimics lightning flashes. this gets above 5 stars in my book. absolute perfect flashlight for every day use. Thank you for making this amazing flashlight! -JohnDragonMan Coach63 [H5] wonderful October 27, 2019 I bought a black one. How wonderful! I've got many flashlights (olight fenix thrunite convoy) and many I love.... but this onecis my favorit

🔗 Identity & Technical Layer — schema JSON-LD: identity chains, entity gaps (Identity & Authority)
Your Diagnosis
Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.
Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)
These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.
Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.
Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.
Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.
Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.
Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.
Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.

INTL Outdoor Store has 13.3 points less BS than the average for Ecommerce & Online Retail.
Ecommerce & Online Retail BS: INTL Outdoor Store (intl-outdoor.com)
This is a rare, hyper-utilitarian site where the technical substance actually exceeds the marketing signal. It operates on a high-trust, enthusiast-facing model that ignores modern marketing ‘best practices’ in favor of raw data and hardware specificity.
Implement Organization and Product schema to provide programmatic proof of authority. Add a formal business address and registration entity to the Contact Information section to satisfy legal proof expectations. Include outbound links to independent community review platforms or technical forums where these products are discussed to provide external validation paths.
The site is a perfect match for the enthusiast-level Ecommerce & Online Retail category. The content confirms a specialized focus on high-performance LED hardware rather than generic consumer goods.
“The low BS score of 23 is driven by the extreme specificity of the technical content. Points were only deducted for the lack of technical SEO/Schema and the absence of third-party verified review paths, which are standard metrics for authority and trust.”
