What is the difference between a memory foam mattress and a latex mattress?

Memory foam is designed to have a plush, sinking in feel while latex is designed to have more of a springy, responsive feel.

A traditional innerspring mattress will have a much springier feel than a solid memory foam mattress. Memory foam has a denser feel than springs and is designed to help with pressure points. How does your 100-night sleep trial work?

When initiating a return for a Lucid™ mattress or adjustable bed frame, there are a few important guidelines to keep in mind. First, all requests must be submitted within 100 days of delivery. But, before initiating a return, we ask that you sleep on it for at least 30 days so you can adjust to the new mattress or frame. If, after this period, you are still not satisfied with your purchase, you may initiate a return here.

What does the mattress warranty cover?

This warranty covers any defects in the materials or workmanship. The following exceptions will void the warranty: excessive wear and tear, stains, misuse or improper care, alteration or repair by unauthorized representatives, damage resulting from transit or handling, or commercial use. Do you offer financing?

All Lucid mattresses are compatible with adjustable bases. We recommend using a mattress that is between 8-14 inches thick and is approved to be used on adjustable bases by the manufacturer. If it was shipped compressed in a box, then it is compatible with an adjustable base.

What is the recommended weight limit for this base?

All Full and Queen sizes have a 750-pound weight limit. Twin XL sizes have a 350-pound weight limit.

What is the storage clearance underneath the frame?

This adjustable bed base has 11 inches of under-bed storage and compatibility with any platform bed or flat surface. Where the motor is located, there will be slightly less clearance.

Can I put this adjustable base inside my current bed set?

Yes, our bases should fit in any standard size bed set. Please remove any slats / support legs / metal frame within the bed set, and gently place the adjustable base in the bed set. You can place the adjustable base in the desired position and build your bed set around it.

How does your 100-night sleep trial work?

When initiating a return for a Lucid™ mattress or adjustable bed frame, there are a few important guidelines to keep in mind. First, all requests must be submitted within 100 days of delivery. But, before initiating a return, we ask that you sleep on it for at least 30 days so you can adjust to the new mattress or frame. If, after this period, you are still not satisfied with your purchase, you may initiate a return here.

What does the adjustable base warranty cover?

This warranty covers any defects in the materials or workmanship and applies only to the original purchaser. Exceptions include excessive wear and tear, misuse or improper maintenance, alteration or repair by unauthorized representatives, and damage resulting from transit or handling, or transportation costs. How long are adjustable bases covered?

Adjustable bases are covered for 10 years under the Guardsman protection plan.

What parts of an adjustable base are covered?

Coverage includes operational and structural components such as frames, welds, mechanical systems (inclining, reclining, and vibrating mechanisms), and electrical components (motors, wiring, and remote operation devices).

Are squeaks or noises covered under the protection plan?

No. Non-failure issues such as squeaks or noises are not covered.

Are USB ports or lighting on adjustable bases covered?

No. Coverage applies only to operational components of the adjustable base. Non-operational features such as USB ports or lighting are not covered.

Are animal damage or stains covered on adjustable bases?

No. The plan only covers operational and structural failures for adjustable bases.

Are power surges or storm-related electrical damage covered?

No. Damage caused by power surges or electrical storms is not covered under the protection plan. In many cases, these incidents may be covered under homeowner’s insurance.
