We take pride in the quality of our products and we attest to that by offering one year warranty both for parts and labor.

If your product fails within 30 days of purchase, PLANET AUDIO Systems will gladly pay for both ways shipping, to repair or replace your unit. In this case you need to contact us within 30 days of purchase to obtain return authorization number. We use ground shipping with tracking number.

PLANET AUDIO Systems stands behind all our products with free parts and labor for 1-year from your date of purchase.
All PLANET AUDIO Systems products are warranted for period of one year from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty is for repair or replacement at the sole discretion of the selling dealer.If we choose to replace your product, we may replace it with a new or reconditioned unit of the same or similar design. Customer is responsible for freight charges incurred to return the product. For all other countries contact our technical support. You must send a copy of the original invoice with date of purchase. Please contact our technical support to receive a Return Authorization number (RA#) before sending your item.
Please enclose a letter stating the problem you are having with the product, your daytime phone number, and your return shipping address (no P.O boxes). Please Contact us to receive a Return Authorization number (RA#) before sending your defective item.
This warranty does not cover any unit subject to abuse, neglect, incorrect wiring, water and/or physical damage, any repair or modification performed by someone other than a PLANET AUDIO Systems repair technician. Any damages resulting from legal action for breach of expressed or implied warranties shall be limited to the cost of the original purchase price of the unit. As a condition of this warranty, it is agreed that the remedy provided in this document is the sole remedy under this warranty. All liability for coincidental damages is excluded. The purchaser agrees to retain the original proof-of-purchase for establishing the effective date of this warranty. Should PLANET AUDIO Systems or an authorized dealer replace your product under warranty, this replacement shall be considered a transaction under the original warranty, and does not extend the original warranty period. This warranty is non-transferable.

You can return a new, unused product within 30 days of the date of purchase and we will happily refund the purchase price less than original shipping charges.

2 Ohm Stable
The lowest impedance accepted by this amplifier is 2 ohms. Amplifiers that are 2 ohms stable produce more power resulting in more volume. This amp can comfortably power speakers or subwoofers with all channel(s) being used at a load of 2 ohms.

Class A/B
Class A/B amplifiers have long been known for their ability to produce great quality sound while performing more efficiently than pure Class A amplifiers. We have developed a specific linear circuitry that further reduces distortion while increasing both sound quality and power output.

High and Low Level Inputs
An amplifier with both high-level and low-level inputs provides flexibility by allowing you to build an audio system using virtually any standard factory or aftermarket source unit. High-level (speaker level) inputs accept the signal from the speakers, while low-level (RCA) inputs accept the signal from the pre-amp outputs of the source unit.

MOSFET
MOSFET stands for Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistor. MOSFETs are used either as a switch or to amplify a signal. MOSFETs are superior to other FETs, because they require less current to operate, which makes them better suited for car audio.

Protection
If the amplifier gets too hot, the thermal protection circuit turns the amp off and allows the amp to cool down before turning it back on. If a speaker fails causing an electrical short, the protection circuit will automatically cut the output and remain in that state until the short is resolved. These safety features give you peace of mind knowing the amplifier is constantly monitoring conditions to protect itself.

Subwoofer Level Control
The ability to boost or attenuate the sub level when an amp and subwoofer are connected to the subwoofer pre-amp output.

Switchable Input Sensitivity
Switchable Input Sensitivity gives you the freedom to connect the amp to any standard source unit and have peace of mind it will be within range to properly match the output of the source unit allowing you to use the volume controls on your source unit the way it was designed.

Variable Bass Boost
Variable Bass Boost allows you to adjust the low bass within the boost range to just the way you like it.

Variable Gain Control
Variable Gain Control lets you balance the amps output with the speakers or subs the amp is driving. To much gain will lead to distortion and to little will lead to clipping.

Variable Low Pass Filter
Variable low-pass filter gives you control over the frequencies that pass through to the subwoofer.

Good Lil Amp
I have an AC1500.1 (I got about 2 weeks ago) pushing a single 15" Kicker. Sound is good and clear, it heats up a bit but not too much. The only thing I dont like is that the sub level remote only works in Low Pass mode. I wanted to use my crossover and set the amp to full range so I can play with my sound a little better but I can honestly say I am happy with my purchase.

1500.1 BOOMING!
Got it pushing 4-4ohm SVC 10's wired to 4ohm load. Tuned it via multimeter to put out 250w. For curiosity I tried to max it and got 723w RMS. Pushes my set up flawlessly! No heating issues and sounds awesome! For the price it can't be beat! I'm gonna buy planet audio again for sure. Gonna check out their subs next. Wife needs boom in her burb.

For the price, can't expect the moon.... I clamped it at 502 rms at the edge of clipping wired @ 2 ohms... Gains are set using a SMD DD1.. It's powering my daily so I am not super concerned with it doing full rated honestly. I have it on a RE SE-Xv1 with a PSI recone in it 1.85 cubes tuned @ 32hz... Gets down pretty hard for what it is... Decent amp for the price.

Love this Amp but!
I love this amp but the remote control for the amp doesn't work at all. I try may things to find out how to make it works but nothing .. The sound is not that great and so far it has not giving me problems....

great power for its price
have this hooked up to a 12" double coiled pioneer and I was getting the amp to go into safe mode as it wasn't getting enough power from the battery alone, after i got my cap all hell broke loose, the sound from the sub is as clear as day, the low bass is immaculate. I'd recommend anyone to get this but you have to get a cap also...

Stays cool even under stress
This amo barely heats up. I have ran this amp for 2 hour trips and barely evem warm and yes i listen to my rock windows down near full blast. Very happy. The only thing is the demintions are wrong. Its more like 12 by 12 by 4 not 10 by 10 by 4.

Easy installation in my Grand Cherokee
Easy installation in my Grand Cherokee. Hooked it up in 20 minutes. The sound quality is much better than I anticipated. Definitely going to purchase one for my other vehicles. Only thing I didn't like was the lack of spots on the bottom to mount the amp in the trunk. Otherwise well worth the money!!

Nicely packaged. This is the second amp I buy in about 2 weeks. I bought the first one to try out. And I have to say this is a good amp. I have been installing systems for a while, usually more expensive brand. But let me say this amp is great For much less. I also bought another 12 planet audio ac12d sub. Ok i boughtthis amp to push a kicker l7 12. It works yet is no where what they claim.i'd say it's closer to 700 rms.

and it fantastic! ive always had issues with systems but I ...
Did not think it would work well....use with 4gauge wiring, and it fantastic! ive always had issues with systems but I cant get this one to go into protection mode with it maxed out running DUAL 15" subs in a ported box in my crown Victoria. I bridged it to monoblock and it does not hesitated to bump. nor does my electronics suffer and I have not even hooked up my capacitor yet. absolutely recommend!!!

Small amp with great power
For the price, you can't go wrong. Its so simple to install and wire up. Its a small unit that packs plenty of power. I have two 10" Pioneer dual coil subs wired up to this amp and it puts out the sound. No distortions whatsoever. I was a little skeptical at first but upon reading the reviews, I decided to give it a chance. Glad I did as it works just as others have mentioned. It does not get hot. This is my fourth amp and the least expensive. It's not a $500 amp, but for the money, provides good steady output to the subs.

Amp works great. When i first hooked it up I was ...
4 stars because the blue light does not light up. Amp works great. When i first hooked it up I was feeling underwhelmed remembering all the reviews about it putting out 1/3 the power that it is rated at but i figured out it comes set to the higher imply voltage. When i flipped the input voltage switch to the low voltage setting it came to life. I'm pretty sure all the people trashing the power output are having this issue and not realizing it has a switch for it. This amp has small 4 guage power and ground inputs not the 0 guage advertised but a 0 to 4 guage adapter worked well for me. I say small because the 4 guage post on the adapter would bot go in i had to grind it to get it in. I ground the posts on tree sides opposite each other so it have a little more space between the power and ground if you shave the sides closest to each other i doubt it would fit with out grounding out. I'm running it with an HCCA 104 which is a 10 inch dual voice coil competition sub in a custom FATBOX USA box. Wired it to 2 ohm (parrallel) and it hits better than most dual 12 systems I've seen with just this amp and the single 10" orion sub. Sub is rated 2000 watts rms and 4000 watts peak no issues. As for people having trouble with it shutting off mange sure your using the right guage wires based on your application and length of the power and ground runs. If you put a second battery in the trunk and use 0 guage from the battery to the amp in a 4 or 5 foot length it has no issues and absolutely no light dimming at all. I put on blasphemy by tupac for those of you who know it that song hits ridiculous. I even went full gain full bass boost full volume full bass on factory head unit and no lights dimming at all with the second battery....

Powerful amp!
got this amplifier in a combo package of VM Innovatinos with duel 12" 600watt RMS Renegade subwoofers, i've got this wired to 2ohms on the subwoofers with an inductor i ripped out of an old power supply(i've heard i'll clean off some of the higher frequencies and it does help a little). This amplifier has more than enough power to run these, it's cleaner and louder than my friend's 2500 watt twin 12"! I run my equipment hard so the amplifier and voice coils do get a bit warm. i noticed at lower frequencies theres a lot more power draw and the amp get wicked hot(the center metal plate recedes from the outer brackets used to get to the screw heads creating a small gap). i have yet to find any... not rigged way to cool it, for the time being i've got two 5 inch computer fans ziptied togather and zip tied to the top... It works. overall though it's an amazing amp. the external level knob looks slick, the adjustable on-board crossover very nice, i have yet to even turn the bass boost knob on it lol it's already powerful enough. for a 1500 watt monoblock i give it 8 out of 10(-2 for the cooling, gave myself a 2nd degree burn when i tried reaching over the amp)

1 Ohm Stable
The lowest impedance accepted by this amplifier is 1 ohm. Amplifiers that are 1 ohm stable produce the most power possible from the amp. An amplifier capable of delivering power at a 1 ohm load is usually reserved for serious subwoofers that can handle the power. Please note this particular amp needs a healthy electrical system including a low gauge wire capable of delivering the necessary current.

Class D Amps
Class D is a high speed switching amplifier technology that is more efficient, generates less heat and draws less power than traditional Class A/B amps. We use Class D in our monoblock amplifiers to give you massive amounts of power in a relatively small footprint for clean, powerful, bass.

Phase Control
The phase control feature allows you to adjust the speakers phase to ensure all audio signals are playing together rather than against each other. When bass notes are noticeably absent, a quick and easy adjustment to the phase control could provide the perfect remedy.

Protection
If the amplifier gets too hot, the thermal protection circuit turns the amp off and allows the amp to cool down before turning it back on. If a speaker fails causing an electrical short, the protection circuit will automatically cut the output and remain in that state until the short is resolved. These safety features give you peace of mind knowing the amplifier is constantly monitoring conditions to protect itself.

Strapping Capability
Strapping capability means that two amplifiers can be linked together to create double the power at an impedance of 2 ohms. A benefit of strapping is less electrical current is required than if you ran [2] individual amps at 1 ohm and you only need 1 pair of preamp outputs and [1] RCA cable to connect.

Subsonic Filter
A subsonic filter is designed for use on subwoofers. Since not all subwoofers can reproduce the same low frequencies, the subsonic filter can be set for optimum bass response in order to keep the driver playing efficiently.

Subwoofer Level Control
The ability to boost or attenuate the sub level when an amp and subwoofer are connected to the subwoofer pre-amp output.

Switchable Input Sensitivity
Switchable Input Sensitivity gives you the freedom to connect the amp to any standard source unit and have peace of mind it will be within range to properly match the output of the source unit allowing you to use the volume controls on your source unit the way it was designed.

Variable Bass Boost
Variable Bass Boost allows you to adjust the low bass within the boost range to just the way you like it.

Variable Low Pass Filter
Variable low-pass filter gives you control over the frequencies that pass through to the subwoofer.

Works very well.
Exact replacement for one I already had that was failing. I bought the old second hand and used it for years. I bought the same one because of the performance that was already proven and the specifications versus the price. Plus I bought the extended warranty. I know it is not really putting out the rated wattage but it is plenty enough for me. Very happy with purchase.

Love this amp
Did not dare put out 5000w peak much less rms, but in return for the overall rating, the price u pay for the power that is produced by this planet audio is worth the pay. When rating this amp I average about 1100-1000w rms@ 0.9 ohms. On 1/0 gauge.(was hard to get it to fit into 4 gauge terminals.)Great for 2 entry level subwoofers around $150 a piece. I would like to see how planet audios matched speakers handle their 5kw amp.

Cheap amp but good power
Ok so this amp is eye catching and very powerful, but there were a couple things that made me make this review. The bolt to hold down the positive speaker wire to the amp was too small for the hole made on the amp. The bolt fell right through the hole which made a bad connection because I had to use my own screw and washer to hold the wire to the amp. Also, where you connect your power, ground, and remote wire was made of plastic and was very flimsy and breakable when you tighten down your connection. Also you must take a metal cover off to connect/disconnect your main wires which was very annoying because the small screws used to hold the covers on are small as hell and easy to lose. But all in all the amp still pushes my 2 10" subs rated at 2200 watts each.

Works great. Running it full blast for an hr str8 and it's barely warm! Wattage is DEFINITELY OVER RATED! Lol I figure it's about half of what's advertised but I bought it knowing that I only needed about half the size.

DAMN!!!!
First let me just say DAMN this amp is very well the little money you spend.It may not last long sure ,but in the meantime it will beat the s*** out of your speakers I have it on 4 DB Drive 12s in a sealed pro box wired to 2 ohms.Speakers are dual voice coil K7 900w rms.The amp is turned up halfway and it is to much my doors and mirrors are rattling In my Escalade. So for those of you who are looking for a budget amp tat puts out , please do not sleep on this amp!!! I was just like you thinking these reviews must have some merit but try it for yourself I am not lying to you.If it will push of these bad boys imagine what it would do to just 2 12s.

I purchased two of these amps, one per 18" sub-driver. Their performance is outstanding. Excellent low frequency handling with very low distortion and an ultra-low noise noise floor. The power is excellent and the amplifier maintains a firm control of the subs at all times. I prefer a sealed cabinet rather than a ported version for tighter, more accurate bass. I am very satisfied with the Planet Audio amplifier and would readily recommend them to anyone who's looking for an excellent quality product both in terms of performance and price. Also, the fit and finish are as good as anything available. Planet Audio has done their homework and created an amplifier that is not just extremely powerful, it's great sounding and is great looking. It's definitely designed to be displayed and you will want to show it off. The price alone makes it a worthwhile purchase, but you get so much more. I highly recommend it.

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE: I had it as a 5 star review. Unfortunately, It blew right as the 6th installed month came around. I ran it under the recommended power but it started making a buzz (loud with subs) and stopped powering on. Too cheap to troubleshoot. I liked it a lot. too bad. Thats what is expected when you go cheap though.running 1600watts daily. bangs the 2 - 10" type Rs hard in my camaro. i ditched the remote and used RCA adjuster. I think it works better and it goes completely mute.

worth it for the price
Loving this amp its pushing 2 audiopipe triple stack txxbd3 2400watts per subwoofer dual 4 ohms at 1 ohm load amp don't even get hot never clip . i didn't regreat buying this product For the price its good at my radio setting and volume I did the mutimeter test and I was getting about 2200 to 2500 watts output and the amp is tuned and turned up between 1/2 to 3/4 gain

Great buy can't go wrong.
I have this amp running on 2 12's wired @ 4 ohm. Strong amp no issues runs very cool does everything they say it will do. I also have the 1200w 4 channel running my mid and highs with 0 gauge wire feeding a 20 farad cap then distibuting power to both of these beasts through 4 gauge. With them running wide open I only get voltage as low as 13.7v with no extra battery and just my stock charging system. these things are not power hogs but produce great clean sound. I recommend this amp and any of the other planet audio equipment to anyone. I have been putting sound systems together for close to 20 years. Great buy for the cost. You will definitely not be disappointed!!!!

I hardly ever write a review but I used the reviews to decide witch product I was going to go with when shopping for a new amp...it's a pretty solid product! I can't get it matched perfectly with the other speakers but it works well,the adjuster knob is nice too. Pushing 4 10s sealed wired at 1ohm I can turn it down for tight snappy bass lines with punk rock and metal but causes some pretty impressive flex to the point where it will rock a beer off the roof of my corolla when i feel like cranking it up on some bass heavy rap...if you get this amp you will need a capacitor to keep your lights from dimming though. It will deff impress though.

LoL! I hate that I like it!
So... A 4000 watt peak power amp for less than $140(price includes next day shipping). Just get it. I bought this amp because my 2 expensive Orion XTR15001's blew. I bought this as a quick replacement amp/backup so i wouldn't be without bass for two long weeks. I had to send my amps in for repairs. Man, this thing has power for sure. My setup is: 6 Kicker CVR 12's dual 4ohms, wired down to 1.5 ohms, a huge custom vented box with 3 chambers 2-2-2(subs facing up/not a wall), I was somehow able to connect 0 guage wires, two Optima batteries, and some other goodies. All in a 3rd Gen Exploder. Comparing this amp to other high brand amps like Kicker, Orion, JL, Rockford, etc... this thing is awesome for the price. This amp basically forces power to your subs. The bad part is that it lacks clarity. Something that I truly look for when buying an amp. I feel like i have 4 15's in an old school boxed Chevy without dyno... It's kind of sloppy. If your system doesn't normally hit the highs, this amp will force it out of them. Possibly pushing your subs to the edge. Or if your subs don't hit the lows, yeah you'll get it. Just be careful not to over do it. I'll end with this, the amp is capable of blowing all of my subs if I wanted it to. If you have some L7's, JL's, RE's, or even some Orion's, it'll BANG! If anything, just buy it for a spare like I did. Oh, connecting 0 guage was almo
