I bought the T/9X SE to replace my somewhat larger, 90's vintage, Acoustic Research 12" sub and the difference in bass quality and depth is remarkable! I'm hearing and feeling bass that very deep and fast that it makes me wonder how it's all coming from such a small package. Love it!

As with many high-end products, specs do not tell the entire story. REL subwoofers sound better. They blend better, and it is a small company with dedicated people that still care about the customer's experience. Don't shop specs, shop sound!
