Since 1829, Tricker’s has been making bespoke shoes for the world’s most distinguished feet. Our shoemakers follow a time-honoured process, unchanged in close to two centuries. A wooden personal last is constructed to follow the shape of each customer’s own foot. Then their shoes and boots are painstakingly constructed by hand around it. The result is a unique shoe or boot that fits the contours of your feet perfectly. Tricker’s bespoke boots and shoes are truly the ultimate in luxury and are made especiallyfor a certain customer by expert shoemakers. When you come to us for a new pair of bespoke shoes, you will want them to reflectthe unique Tricker’s character, but our objective is to make something that isuniquely yours.Tricker’s master shoemaker Adele Williamson leads a team of craftsmen and personallyreviews every process of the bespoke experience.The customer is at the verycentre of the process, and the future shoe is created according to the uniquemorphology of the foot.Full bespoke shoes and boots including a unique last can take more than 12 months to create in the Tricker's bespoke workshop.

Within our Northampton factory, our master shoemaker Adele is following in the footsteps of generations of supremely skilled and dedicated crafts people.Adele served her apprenticeship under renowned shoemaker, Scott Mckee, and now leads our bespoke team in creating handmade perfection.Every element is made by hand, we even make the cord we use. The leathers for bespoke projects are specially selected and no stone is left unturned to ensure they are of the highest quality.

A TIME-HONOURED PROCESS, PERFECTED

MEASUREMENT & LAST CREATION
We follow a process, unchanged in nearly two centuries. Initially, Adele will meet you either at our Factory or our Jermyn Street store, in order to take the necessary measurements and discuss your specification. The measurements are required to create a personal last that is constructed to follow the shape of your feet. The last is created by Spring Line; the finest, and only remaining, Lastmakers in England. These are made by hand and provide the form to create your bespoke shoes around. Once you have a last we can continue to use it to make future shoes or boots, unless your feet change significantly.

CREATING YOUR VISION
Once your last is complete, Adele is able to build the shoes or boots you have specified. During the process you will have at least one fitting session to ensure the fit is perfect.The result is a unique shoe or boot that fits the contours of your feet perfectly and is exactly to your specification; from the leather, to the welting, and sole choice. To complete each project, Spring Line creates handmade shoe-trees to keep your shoes or boots in perfect condition when they're not on your feet.

Prices for Bespoke Footwear start from £4,000 which includes the creation of your last and shoe-tree. Pairs made after this start from £3,250. (Prices can vary depending on materials chosen).Please be aware that full bespoke shoes, including your unique last, can take 12 -18 months to create.
