Feature availability and design may differ based on the device, operating system, or ANZ Plus app version. Falcon® is a registered trademark of Fair Isaac Corporation. Different interest rates apply to different investment amounts, terms and interest frequencies. Rates are subject to change. Early withdrawal fees will apply and the account will incur an interest reduction in respect of the money withdrawn or transferred early. Refer to ANZ Saving and Transaction Terms and Conditions (PDF). At maturity we will reinvest your ANZ Advance Notice Term Deposit based on the reinvestment consent you have given us and in accordance with instructions you have provided. If you choose to reinvest your principal (and interest) at the end of the investment term, the interest rate applicable to your ANZ Advance Notice Term Deposit may be lower than the interest rate on your maturing ANZ Advance Notice Term Deposit. If your circumstances change or this product is no longer suitable for you, please contact ANZ at or prior to maturity, or within your 7 day grace period (following reinvestment) to make alternative arrangements. Return PayID is a registered trademark of NPP Australia Limited. Return A minimum deposit of $5,000 is required to open an ANZ Advance Notice Term Deposit or an ANZ Term Deposit. This calculator has been set to a maximum deposit of $4,999,999. If you want to invest $2,000,000 or more, please call 1800 008 177 or visit your nearest ANZ Branch to discuss your term and interest rate. Return Early withdrawal fees will apply. An administration fee of $30 will be charged and the account will incur an interest reduction in respect of the money withdrawn or transferred early. An ANZ Advance Notice Term Deposit has a 31 day notice period. This means that if you request an early withdrawal or transfer of all or part of your funds, the funds will not be provided until the 31st day after the request (or, where that is a non-business day, on or before the next business day). Refer to the ANZ Saving and Transaction Products Terms and Conditions (PDF 746kB) for further details. Return Interest rates current as at and subject to change at any time. Different interest rates apply to each term deposit product and to different investment amounts, term lengths and interest frequencies. Early withdrawal fees may apply. Certain rates do not qualify for additional bonus interest rates and are not available in conjunction with any other bonus or special interest rate offer. For Advance Notice Term Deposits, this applies to investment terms of 3, 4, 6, 9, 11 and 12 months, as well as all term lengths of greater than 12 months. For Term Deposits, this applies to investment terms of 3, 6, 9 and 12 months as well as all term lengths of greater than 12 months. Return The principal difference between an ANZ Advance Notice Term Deposit and an ANZ Term Deposit (apart from the interest rate that applies) is that you must provide 31 days’ notice to ANZ if you wish to make an early withdrawal or transfer of all or part of your funds from an ANZ Advance Notice Term Deposit account. Further details are set out in ANZ Saving and Transaction Products Terms and Conditions (PDF 746kB). Return Transaction fees may apply, see the ANZ Plus Deposit Account T&Cs for details on these fees. A $10 monthly fee applies if you link your ANZ Plus Everyday account to your ANZ Plus Home Loan as an offset account. Return The upcoming expenses tool is a general guide only and is based on historical debits to the ANZ Plus Everyday and ANZ Plus Flex Saver accounts. Images and features shown are iOS versions. Feature availability and design may differ based on the device, operating system, or ANZ Plus app version. Return You must be an existing ANZ Plus customer to open a Joint ANZ Plus deposit account. Return Bonus interest is subject to eligibility. Consider if right for you. We use the effective daily balance of your ANZ Plus Growth Saver account at 11:59pm (AEST/AEDT) on the last business day of the month to determine if you've met the requirement to grow your balance for that month. Sometimes transactions may be treated as having occurred on a different date to the date on which they were made and this can impact whether or not they will count towards your effective daily balance on a particular day. If you qualify for bonus interest for that month, you can generally earn bonus interest from the last business day of the previous month up to (but excluding) the last business day of the qualifying month. See the ‘Earning interest’ section of the ANZ Plus Deposit Account T&Cs for more about what’s included in your balance, how interest is calculated, and the qualifying period to earn bonus interest and the period you earn bonus interest (if you qualify). See anz.com.au/plus/interest-fees for interest rates. Interest rates are variable and subject to change. If you're new to ANZ Plus, ANZ Plus Growth Saver is only available if linked to an ANZ Plus Everyday account. Any advice is general and might not be right for you. The Financial Services Guide, Target Market Determinations and ANZ Plus Deposit Account T&Cs are available for your reference. You should read them before deciding to apply for or keep these products. Return Different interest rates apply to different parts of the effective daily balance of your ANZ Plus Flex Saver account. A higher rate applies for that part of the effective daily balance that is up to $5,000, and a lower rate applies to that part of your effective daily balance that is above $5,000. Interest rates are variable and subject to change. See the ‘Earning Interest’ section of the ANZ Plus Deposit Account T&Cs for more information about how interest is calculated. See anz.com.au/plus/interest-fees for interest rates. To be eligible for the ANZ Plus Flex Saver account you must be an existing ANZ Plus customer. Return Monthly account service fee waiver applicable to ANZ Access Advantage accounts if you deposit $2,000 or more by the last business day of the calendar month. You must satisfy the monthly deposit requirement to be eligible for the waiver in a particular month. Return On application for the waiver by an eligible customer, the monthly account service fee will be waived on one nominated ANZ Access Advantage account. For more information on Exemptions and Concessions please refer to ANZ Personal Banking Account Fees and Charges (PDF). Return Terms and conditions apply. No transaction fee access relates to the following: a successful cash withdrawal and an account balance query. Daily withdrawal limits may apply. For details on cash advance fees, transactions that are considered to be a ‘cash advance’ and other charges, please refer to your applicable product terms and conditions. Eligibility criteria, account fees and interest, charges may apply. Visit anz.com for more information. [IMG: ””] [H2] Security questions [H3] What is cyber security? Criminals are becoming more sophisticated and are using technology in creative ways to get access to information and funds. That’s why cyber security (protecting things like your computer, phone and personal information) is so important. Cyber incidents can include the use of malicious software (e.g. malware and viruses) enabled by people or through exploiting vulnerabilities on websites or online services. Cyber incidents can also include malicious attacks on organisations. Typically, these incidents are used to get access to sensitive information, ultimately for financial gain, or to make a political statement. Explore the steps you can take to protect yourself or your organisation from cyber incidents. [H3] What is a scam? Scams can be complex and present in multiple ways. For example, impersonation scams typically involve convincing individuals they’re interacting with a trusted person or organisation (like your bank, tax office or investment company). In order to steal your money, the criminal may convince you to share sensitive information (e.g. your banking details) or authorise a payment from your account. This fake relationship can be built over a number of months over the phone, SMS messages, email or social media. Learn more about common types of scams [H3] What is fraud? Fraud can take many forms and can occur without your knowledge. An example of credit card fraud is when credit card details are stolen using a specialised device, during a legitimate transaction. You may first become aware there’s an issue when you’re notified by your bank or when you view your transaction history. Find out how we protect our customers using our fraud detection technology, ANZ Falcon®. [H3] How to report a scam Reporting a scam is an important step to help stop it. Plus it can prevent countless others falling victim too. Report a scam to Scamwatch. If you have shared financial information or transferred money to a scammer - or if you suspect fraud on your account - please contact us immediately. Learn how to spot a scam [H3] What is phishing? Phishing is a technique used by criminals to gain access to systems or sensitive personal or financial information, like bank account details, by impersonating an individual or business you may recognise and trust. Phishing is often done through legitimate-looking websites, emails and SMS messages, which are actually fake. [H3] I’ve received a message or call from ANZ. How do I know it's genuine? It can be hard to spot scams and fraudulent activity. In a genuine ANZ call, SMS message or email, we will never ask you to: share sensitive banking details (like passwords, PINs, ANZ Shield codes, token codes. or one-time passcodes (for payment) in an email or SMS) click a link to log in to your account grant remote access to your computer, phone, tablet (or any other mobile device) transfer money to another account Learn about types of scams and the latest security alerts. Your Diagnosis
Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.
Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)
These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.
Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.
Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.
Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.
Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.
Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.
Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.

Financial Services, Banking & Insurance BS: ANZ (Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited) (anz.com)
ANZ delivers a high-substance corporate platform that uses marketing fluff as a light wrapper for dense regulatory and technical documentation. It is remarkably low in BS for a major bank, trading ‘revolutionary’ claims for specific fee disclosures and branded security protocols. The site proves its value through utility (calculators/articles) rather than hyperbolic promises.
To further reduce the BS score, replace vague H1 headlines like ‘get to a good place’ with concrete value-adds such as ‘Navigate 5 percent Deposit Schemes with a Specialist.’ Implement Organization and Person schema to link the brand to its specific executive leadership and regulatory filings on every page. Convert the ‘Financial Wellbeing’ marketing copy into a more clinical ‘Financial Data & Literacy’ section to better reflect the high-quality tools provided.
The content perfectly aligns with the Financial Services sector, specifically retail banking. The presence of ABN 11 005 357 522 and regulatory disclosures regarding PDS and FSG confirms its status as a regulated Australian financial entity.
“The score of 26 is driven primarily by the lack of named expert footprints (Identity & Authority) and the use of industry-standard value prop clichés (Commodity Fingerprint). It scored extremely well on Semantic Coherence due to the tight alignment between its homepage promises and the deep educational resources found on sub-pages. The high information density of its T&Cs effectively neutralized any penalties for its occasional marketing jargon.”
