What is a Signal Provider?

The Signal Provider is a client of company who shares his trading strategy with other clients. All deals matching the Subscribers’ settings are automatically executed on the subscribed trading accounts. The Signal Provider is rewarded with a Performance Fee which is calculated as a share of profit made from the copied trades.

What is a Subscriber?

The Subscriber is a trading account copying one of the Signal Providers from the rating. It belongs to and managed by the client who subscribed to the Provider – the Provider doesn’t have access to it and do not see its trades or balance.

How do I register in SocialTrading?

Simply log in with your existing NordFX trading account and trader’s password at nord.social. After logging in, your personal area for SocialTrading will be created automatically.

How many subscriptions/offers can I make?

You can create up to 100 subscriptions or 100 offers per account.

Can I be a Provider and a Subscriber on the same account?

No, this is not possible. You need to register two separate accounts: one account can be used only for providing signals, and the other only for subscribing to offers.

How to create a Signal Provider?

Log in to your personal area at nord.social and click on the New Provider button. Choose your account and give it a name, then click Create. You will be redirected to your provider’s profile. Scroll down to the Offers section and click Create — this is an important step in the process. Here you can set the offer’s name, public visibility, performance fee, and registration fee.

How to create a subscription?

Log in to your personal area at nord.social and click on the New Subscription button. Select your account, choose a Signal Provider and their offer, accept the registration fee terms (if set by the provider), and then click Create. After that, you will be redirected to your subscription profile page where you can review all settings. If everything looks correct, click on the green Actions button and select Activate to start your subscription.

Lot – the volume unit of a traded instrument. It is equal to 100,000 units of the base currency.
Level of limit and stop orders – the minimal interval between the current price and the pending order level (in points). Inside this interval, take profit, stop loss and pending orders can't be placed. When placing orders within this range is attempted, the server will send an error message and won't accept the order. The level of limit and stop orders is equal to a typical spread.
Freezing level – a ban on changing orders that are close to fulfillment. Within this level, it’s impossible to modify, delete or close positions which are about to be executed. The freezing level value is equal to one-half of the spread of the traded instrument.
Swap – payment for transferring a position overnight (the swap value is displayed in points). Swaps can be positive and negative and are calculated as the difference between interest rates. Swaps are charged daily at 00:00 according to the server time. From Wednesday to Thursday, swaps are charged 3 times higher. The swap rate is the product of the pip price by the number of lots by the number of days.
The settlement date for most Forex instruments is 2 working days. So, if any position is closed after Wednesday at 24:00 server time, it will be settled on the following Monday. This is why we charge 3 times if an order passes the Wednesday 24:00 mark.
For Oils, Indices, and Stock Shares the settlement days are fixed dates in the following month. Regardless, the order remains open for 2 days after Friday, hence the swap is charged then.
Swap is charged every day, except for the weekends, when trading is not available.
Swap is charged on Friday only for Energies.
For Crypto, swap is charged every day, hence it is traded 24\7.
