Red Flags: transformation photos with suspicious editing, guaranteed body composition changes, trainer certifications not from recognized bodies, no facility photos or stock gym images…
Semantic Drift Patterns: homepage shows elite athletes but facility is basic, claims expert coaching but trainer qualifications are entry-level, homepage promotes transformation but no before-and-after evidence, claims cutting-edge equipment but facility photos show dated gear…
Proof Expectations: trainer qualifications with certifying body names (NASM, ACE, CIMSPA), real facility photographs, specific equipment brands and lists, genuine member transformation stories with consent…

At Swan Leisure, swimming is our passion. We take pride in delivering exceptional lessons and offering a comprehensive aquatics program.
Our Rathmines pool is a 25m, 6-lane deck-level facility with a moveable floor and boom wall. This location also features a sauna and steam room next to the pool. Our Crumlin pool is a 25m, 5-lane facility. Both pools cater to all fitness levels and swimming abilities.
While our pools are currently open to members only, non-members are welcome to drop in for public swims as per the timetable.

What makes us different? We have our own unique swim program that has been developed by some of the most experienced and talented coaches in Ireland. All of our instructors have been handpicked to ensure that we provide the most up to date and best practice teaching solutions for you including our Swim Pro two time Olympian Kevin Williamson. We have a maximum of ten people per class so you can rest assured that you will get the attention you deserve. Children’s Lessons

Our children's lessons run year-round at both Rathmines and Crumlin pools. Payments can be made monthly via direct debit at €38 per month, or in blocks of ten continuous lessons for €100. Direct debit payments are processed every month. If you wish to cancel swimming lessons, written notice is required.
We offer a variety of days and times to choose from, including Monday to Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings. Each time slot includes 7 levels, allowing your child to be assessed and placed accordingly:

Ducklings: This is our beginner level where children will learn water confidence, how to float, submerge their face and to jump in. The minimum age for this level is 3 years.
Tadpoles: This is a step up from beginners where children will learn how to push and glide on their front and back, retrieve objects from below the surface and breaststroke arms.
Frogs: At this level children learn front crawl arm action unaided, backcrawl and breast stroke leg action.
Penguins: Now confident and independent in shallow water they can improve technique and advance their skills.
Seals: Further development with technique and learning more skills.
Sharks: Confident in deep water and beginning to build stamina and strength along with technique. Continuous development of skills and strokes; more stamina, strength and skills.

We also offer our popular Swan Babies and Swan Toddlers programs. These fun classes, led by an instructor with a parent in the water, are designed to introduce babies and young children to swimming. Classes run every day of the week, with limited spaces available in Swan Toddlers on Saturdays. They are held over a 10-week term at €100.
Additionally, we offer 'Intensive Swim Lessons' for children during the school holidays—Summer, Halloween, and Easter. These lessons are a great way for children to make fast progress in their swimming skills. Intensive Swim Lessons cost €55 per week for a daily 45-minute lesson, with two time slots available: 9:00 am–9:45 am or 1:00 pm–1:45 pm.

Swim Club

Open Water Swimming

Our open water team competes in both the Leinster Open Sea Swimming series and Swim Ireland Open Water swims including the Docklands Challenge, the Liffey Swim and Island's Eye to Howth.
Our team is very welcoming to new swimmers. We have a strong sense of community and inclusivity and supporting each other is expected within our team. Although we are competing in several races per week we encourage all swimmers within the team to see the season out however suits them, by way of participation or aiming to win races and completing as many races as they would like.
Our team has been building over the last few years and is free for all Swan Leisure members.
There have been countless top 10 performances throughout the seasons and lots of prizes but every race completion is a success in itself whether someone is placed 3rd or 133rd. Our swimmers have pushed themselves to continue to compete and be out of their comfort zone in the elements, battling waves, tide and marine life.
Some of our biggest successes:
- Winner of the Tracey Lawler Cup 2025- Jack Keegan
- Winner of the relay team at Lough Ennell 2025 - Andrea, Mauricio, Michael and Hector
- Winner of the Lough Ennell race 2025 - Caitlin
- Winner of the Killiney LOS Race August 2025 = Vlad Zhyvytskyi
- Mark Taylor AND Sean Nolan took first place in the Gaelforce Great River swim 2025

For the Family

Here at Swan Leisure we can change the depth of the floor to suit any activity we would like to hold. So when you bring younger children, we can have one section of the pool at a shallow depth for their confidence and independence.
You can avail of our family swims every Saturday afternoon and our family fun days every Sunday, all day. Throughout our timetable, you will also find adult and toddler swims, allowing a time for parents and young children, and on Sundays, we have small toys in the pool all day, suitable for younger children.
We also have family changing rooms with baby changing mats and nappy bins to make bringing the whole family swimming that bit easier. The water temperature is 30 degrees, which is perfect for young children.

As part of our 'getting the community active' ethos people who are over 65 years of age are welcome to use both our pool and gym any day of the week or time of day. All we require is an annual €30 registration fee and on your first visit, some form of proof of age and address to show that you are living or working in the area.
Please note that in the interest of safety, children ten and under need an adult in the water, and EACH child under three years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
We are open for non-members to drop in during Public Swims as per the timetable. Numbers in the pool will be restricted, and entry will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Your Diagnosis

Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.

Information Density 0 / 30
Read the Narrative & headings: do hard facts (prices, dates, numbers) outweigh fluff power-words?
Semantic Coherence 0 / 20
Compare the homepage promise against the sub-page reality. Do they hold the same line?
Trust & Proof 0 / 20
Weigh review mentions against actual external proof links. Claims without verification = theatre.
Commodity Fingerprint 0 / 15
Check headings & narrative against the industry clichés in the setup above.
Identity & Authority 0 / 15
Inspect the schema: is there real Organization/Person identity with sameAs links, or gaps?
Your predicted BS score 0 / 100
💡 Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)

These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.

Information Density

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Semantic Alignment

Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.

Trust & Proof

Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.

Commodity Fingerprint

Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.

Identity & Authority

Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.

Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.

1. Implement Organization and Person schema to link named staff like Kevin Williamson to their Olympic records via sameAs links. 2. Expand ‘The Gym’ section with the same level of granular detail used for ‘The Pool’, including a specific equipment list (e.g., rack counts, cardio brands). 3. Add a dedicated ‘Success Stories’ section that uses the same data-driven approach as the ‘Open Water’ stats to highlight gym-based community outcomes. 4. Remove the remaining generic value prop cliches like ‘more than just a gym’ to achieve a near-zero BS score.

The website perfectly aligns with the Fitness, Gyms & Sports Clubs industry, specifically operating as a community-focused leisure center with dual facilities in Rathmines and Crumlin. The content focuses on functional deliverables—swimming, group classes, and gym memberships—rather than abstract fitness marketing.

“The score of 15 is driven by the site's refusal to use marketing fluff. The few points deducted are purely for technical omissions (lack of Schema), the presence of a few minor industry clichés, and the absence of a comprehensive equipment list for the gym facility.”
