I recently dined at this restaurant, and overall, it was a good experience. For starters, I had the French onion soup, which was quite good, and the shrimp appetizer was also well-prepared. However, I was a bit disappointed with the beef bourguignon. The meat was drier than I expected and rather stringy, which took away from the usual rich, tender texture of this classic dish. That said, the sides—both the fries and the mashed potatoes—were excellent. For those of us not accustomed to eating here regularly, the whole experience is truly magical. Shiny lights, good music and staff that flutter around for your water and your orders. Our evening was simply very good food prepared with respect, wine choices that were well priced and a desert shared three ways that was sinful.
