Industry Context — Common BS Fingerprints in Food, Restaurants & Delivery
Generic Claims: the best food in town, authentic flavors, made with love, quality ingredients…
Red Flags: no food hygiene rating displayed, stock food photography, locally sourced claims without naming any supplier, award claims without verifiable source…
Semantic Drift Patterns: homepage claims fine dining but menu prices are casual, claims locally sourced but no suppliers named, homepage shows plated dishes but delivery menu is different items, claims authentic cuisine but menu is fusion with no cultural specificity…
Proof Expectations: food hygiene rating displayed, named ingredient suppliers and sources, chef background and culinary credentials, real food photography not stock images…

The SuperNatural Food Market is a producer’s market located in St. Andrew’s Resource Centre, Pearse St. Dublin 2. We are Dublin’s oldest, continuous, weekly food market. Running for 33 years and counting, we offer a one-stop-shop solution for buying everything you need for a grocery shop while being great value and offering pure, clean, chemical and neurotoxic-free food. All direct from the growers and producers.
The market offers a nutritious & relaxing blend of community ambience with top quality organic food & products. We are Dublin’s best market for Organic Groceries, Organic Vegetables, Cheese, Meat, Fish, Artisan Breads, Superfoods, Cosmetics, Eco-Cleaners, and more. We also have practised zero waste for many years with bulk orders. refills, loose produce, and return systems on recycling glass and other packaging. We are committed to being 100% zero waste in the future.
The SuperNatural Food Market offers a complete shopping experience that is very unusual. Stress free, family friendly, community orientated, customer-focused and bursting with a large range of healthy, organic wholefoods. We are unusual with respect to putting our customers and the planet’s health first and foremost when choosing our high quality, natural, organic products.
We are less expensive than any other health food store in the city (and many of the ‘stupidmarkets’* -supermarkets* too!) Don’t just take our word for it. Here’s a customer Google review,
“So absolutely wonderful. Can you believe the locally harvested organic veggies sold here are cheaper than Tesco!? Bought fruit and veg expecting to pay around 11eur and it totalled up to 6eur. What!? Also, love that it’s low packaging! No plastic waste. I encourage to bring your own bags but they have paper sacks if needed. Highlight!! “
We also offer nutritional advice and cooking tips to beginners or the uncertain, on pulses, grains, seaweeds etc. Add to this our bulk ordering and speciality requests service, discounts to OAP’s as well as workshops, events and visiting stalls and it all adds up to a very unique service.
We are open every Saturday from 9.00 am to 3.30 pm and based in 114-116 St. Andrew’s Resource Centre, Pearse Street, Dublin 2. We’d love to see you!

Happy New Everyone!
I think we can all agree that there is a huge reassessment of values and power going on in the world right now. While this, in many ways, has always been in the case – we’re constantly evolving right? – it feels tangible in particular and extremely accelerated recently. And there’s some definite choices to be made.
As always you’re in charge of you and can effect great changes with choices you make that you’re in control of.
So do you want to eat real food? Food without chemicals, neurotoxins, additives, preservatives, packaging, waxes, sprays etc. Do you want to give your money to those who grow and provide that food in a real, wholesome and healthy and protective way? Food grown with love and awareness and given with love and awareness that nourishes and nurtures you? Do you want to be able to get all you need in one place? One trip? Do you want more time, more pleasure, more relaxation when you do these vital but also enjoyable necessities? Do you want to bring your children or dogs or enjoy a space they can interact and play? Do you want community? Shop with your neighbours or meet new friends? Or simply a lovely space where you’re welcome to have a coffee, sit alone, read the newspaper (or not!)? Do you want a place where all are welcome and no one is censored or judged. Do you want to make a change to the way you shop, live, eat, interact, or maybe continue this good habit, or bring more people on the journey with you? Then we’re the good space, the good place, the good habit, the change you’re looking for. Welcome to 2024 and The Market.

Your Diagnosis

Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.

Information Density 0 / 30
Read the Narrative & headings: do hard facts (prices, dates, numbers) outweigh fluff power-words?
Semantic Coherence 0 / 20
Compare the homepage promise against the sub-page reality. Do they hold the same line?
Trust & Proof 0 / 20
Weigh review mentions against actual external proof links. Claims without verification = theatre.
Commodity Fingerprint 0 / 15
Check headings & narrative against the industry clichés in the setup above.
Identity & Authority 0 / 15
Inspect the schema: is there real Organization/Person identity with sameAs links, or gaps?
Your predicted BS score 0 / 100
💡 Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)

These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.

Information Density

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Semantic Alignment

Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.

Trust & Proof

Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.

Commodity Fingerprint

Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.

Identity & Authority

Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.

Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.

Supernatural is a legitimate physical business currently trapped in a digital time capsule. While the ‘substance’ of the market is proven through its 33-year history and specific Tipperary sourcing, the website is 45% bullshit due to massive temporal drift and unsubstantiated pseudo-scientific health claims.

Immediately remove all dated holiday headers from 2021 and 2023. Populate the ‘Meet Our Producers’ directory with actual names and links to reduce the 100% bounce rate on that promise. Replace the ‘neurotoxic-free’ claim with specific mentions of organic certifications (e.g., IOA or Trust Symbol). Update the meta description on the homepage to include current opening hours and primary categories (Veg, Meat, Zero Waste).

The site content strongly aligns with the Food and Organic Markets industry. It provides specific geographic locations (St. Andrew’s Resource Centre, Pearse St), identifies specific producers (Annie’s Organic Farm), and lists individual product prices, confirming its role as a physical retail entity.

“The score of 45 is driven primarily by the 'Ghost Ship' effect (Semantic Coherence) and the use of unproven scientific jargon in the health claims. The score remains below 50 because the business provides high-density logistics and naming of real-world partners, which anchor the claims in reality despite the digital neglect.”
