A shared journey towards digital and sustainable buildings

The path towards the decarbonisation of Europe’s building stock, as outlined by the European Union’s EPBD IV Directive, requires a paradigm shift in the design of buildings and building services systems. Building services can no longer be considered separate elements, but must be seen as an integral part of a smart, connected ecosystem focused on energy efficiency.
In this context, in 2025 Clivet joined the Smart Building Alliance ETS, an association that has been promoting the digital transformation of the construction and infrastructure sectors since 2012.
The aim is to contribute to the development of heating, cooling and ventilation solutions capable of integrating with buildings’ digital infrastructure, favouring increasingly intelligent, efficient and sustainable management.
Joining the Smart Building Alliance represents a strategic step for Clivet to actively participate in the evolution of contemporary living, where comfort, energy efficiency and interoperability become central elements.
This means:
overcoming the fragmentation between architectural design, building services systems and digital technologies;
developing solutions designed for the Internet of Things (IoT) and advanced energy monitoring;

Technology meets architecture

From April 20 to 26, during the 2026 Milan Design Week, we invite you to discover a new vision of well-being, where HVAC technology becomes an integral part of the architectural design.
Clivet’s Natural Comfort finds expression in solutions designed to unleash the creativity of architects and designers, overcoming traditional aesthetic and spatial compromises.
[H2] Where to find us
BRERA DESIGN DISTRICT | Via Statuto 12 - The star of the show is FULLNESS, the All-in-One heat pump without an outdoor unit (selected for the ADI Design Index 2025). An ‘invisible’ 4-in-1 solution that eliminates clutter on the façade and in plant rooms, simplifying work on site. Alongside FULLNESS is Mimic VRF. VRF outdoor and indoor units feature textured finishes in Cimento® lightweight concrete, transforming them into genuine interior design elements and architectural features.
PALAZZO BOVARA | @Elle Decor Italia - As part of this prestigious exhibition-event, thanks to our collaboration with Elle Decor Italia, we are presenting Mimic VRF.

Your Diagnosis

Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.

Information Density 0 / 30
Read the Narrative & headings: do hard facts (prices, dates, numbers) outweigh fluff power-words?
Semantic Coherence 0 / 20
Compare the homepage promise against the sub-page reality. Do they hold the same line?
Trust & Proof 0 / 20
Weigh review mentions against actual external proof links. Claims without verification = theatre.
Commodity Fingerprint 0 / 15
Check headings & narrative against the industry clichés in the setup above.
Identity & Authority 0 / 15
Inspect the schema: is there real Organization/Person identity with sameAs links, or gaps?
Your predicted BS score 0 / 100
💡 Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)

These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.

Information Density

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Semantic Alignment

Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.

Trust & Proof

Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.

Commodity Fingerprint

Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.

Identity & Authority

Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.

Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.

Industrial, Manufacturing & Engineering BS: Clivet S.p.A. (clivet.com)

https://clivet.com 📍 Industry: Industrial, Manufacturing & Engineering
25 BS / 100

Clivet is a rare example of an industrial manufacturer that actually delivers on its ‘innovation’ marketing. The site is dense with current, verifiable proof of industry leadership and specific product engineering. Only a lack of structured data and weak meta-descriptions prevent a near-perfect score.

Implement Organization and Product JSON-LD schema to provide machine-readable authority to search engines. Populate all empty meta_description fields with the specific technical advantages mentioned in the body text (e.g., R290 propane efficiency). Add outbound links from the Awards section to the official winner galleries of the iF Design and UX Design Awards to close the proof path loop. Convert general H1s like ‘The natural climate’ into more specific headings that reference their award-winning technology.

The site is an exact match for the HVAC and industrial engineering sector. Content is deeply technical, focusing on heat pump manufacturing, refrigerant gas regulations like R290, and integration with the European Union’s EPBD IV Directive.

“The score of 25 is driven primarily by the lack of technical schema and meta-data (Identity and Authority) and minor hero-section fluff. The site performs exceptionally well in Semantic Coherence and Trust and Proof due to highly current (May 2026) and specific evidence of projects and awards.”
