[H1] True Versatility – K2 Pico FlexAR Family. [H1] True Versatility. It is never an easy decision to start from scratch, but that is exactly what we did with the K2 Pico FlexAR family development. We used the knowledge that had been learnt during the development of our X band and K1 series radars. Starting the software and hardware from scratch meant that we were able to build something that would be ultimately flexible and would mean we could overcome all the limitations that had been exposed from our previous developments as well as seen in every other current product on the market. The K2 Pico is a unique radar device in that it provides the OEM with a platform to build a product on rather than just being used as an “end product” in its own right. The K2 Pico processor itself takes care of all the hard work – the radar signal processing, GPRS connections, Bluetooth, GPS, IO handling etc and provides a simple elegant high level approach for the OEM designer to create their system or application. [IMG: K2 Pico Flex Radar Alpha] The K2 Pico Flex Radar. This distinction of low level control being transparent to the user allows the K2 radar products to be freed from having fixed modes of operation. In essence the K2 Radar processor allows the OEM user to create the desired applications that can be uploaded and perform the required behaviour for the system. This can be a simple response to a doppler detect event but can be much more. The K2 script language that allows this control has a rich set of API (Application Program Interface) calls. These calls include the doppler detect mentioned earlier but span control over IO, communications channels that include Serial data, BlueTooth, GPRS modem, GPS and ZigBee radio. These API calls also feature timer events as well as control over IO that includes PWM modulation. This absolute control over the Radar and auxiliary device events has never been seen in Radar detection products before. There are good reasons for this, predominantly because it is difficult but also that it requires a significant amount processing power. The experience in IO handling communication protocols, high level language programming skills at both device and PC application end are all essential elements you require to have a chance at a successful implementation. Thankfully we have spent the last 30 years honing these skill sets in a wide variety of industries. From high end military electronics through industrial control sector and to commercial cost sensitive products. Not forgetting decades of PC software development experience to boot. All this has led to the world’s most versatile commercial vehicle radar detection system. It is the worlds first such system driven from Script language control, in this field it also boasts as being the worlds first implementation of Plug and Play architecture. It offers by design probably the highest level of processor performance coupled with a clear path to full blown DSP drop in design for future proof performance delivery and still offers the worlds lowest powered radar devices at both 100m and 400m. sat2022-05-23T10:24:44+00:00 [H4] Share This Story, Choose Your Platform! [H1] Your Speed Sign or Speed Limit Signs – Which is best? [H1] Your Speed Sign or Speed Limit Signs – Which is best? [IMG: yourspeed] So which one should I choose: Speed Indicator Display ( SID Signs ) (commonly shown on roads as ‘Your Speed’ Signs) or the fixed Speed Limit Sign (e.g. 30 MPH)? I guess it depends on the location that the device is going in and the regulatory requirements (if any) for that sign. Speed limit signs can be seen everywhere on our urban roads. They offer a straightforward warning when activated and can be coupled to auxiliary message signs that can offer feedback to the driver. Generally, these tend to be the signs with a Red ring of LED’s with the speed limit displayed in White LED’s in the centre. These devices have to be designed with a specific font, character size and light output level. These requirements are defined by Traffic Regulation standards. Other signs are available that may not be so tightly controlled and these tend to display the vehicle speed in similar applications using Yellow (Amber) LEDs. The actual vehicle speed is shown up to a predefined limit at which point different modes of operation come into action. For instance, in a 30MPH zone, the display will give the actual vehicle speed up to about 33MPH but after this point it would simply flash a fixed 30MPH warning message. This is designed as a deterrent, demonstrating the capability of speed regulations, informing the driver that we know exactly how fast they are going! If the message needs to be variable at different times of the day its clear that the Speed indicator types are going to be more useful than the fixed limit display. These more dynamic signs are used around schools, for example, allowing the speed limit warning to altered during specific time periods, 15MPH or 20MPH during start of school, during lunch time and when the schools closes then reverting back to a 30MPH standard. This flexibility makes these signs particularly attractive. With the trend towards variable speed limits becoming more evident, these adjustable speed signs along with remote accessibility provide a great alternative where fixed signs cannot fulfil such requirements. Whether the speed limits are prefixed for the time of day or selectable from a remote control centre they offer flexibility in complex environments. kenbo2022-05-23T10:24:44+00:00 [H4] Share This Story, Choose Your Platform! SUB-PAGE (http://kestrelradarsensors.com/programmable-led-signs/) Our Revolutionary Programmable LED Signs – Kestrel
[H1] Our Revolutionary Programmable LED Signs [H1] Programmable LED Signs, The Future is Here! Flexibility in a safety signs is critical these days, as you don’t want to stock 20 different products when you can stock one programmable LED sign instead. The key to this programmability is the architecture of the radar and associated electronics and most importantly the software that goes with it. At Kestrel Radar Sensors we have developed the FlexAR series of products that boast the ultimate standard in re-programmability. The hardware has to be powerful enough to cope with the demands placed on it today but it has to be flexible enough to handle new ideas and changes that are likely to come up in the future. A hard trick to pull off, but the launch of the K2 Pico Series Radar and pico products pulls off this challenge. The hardware is extremely powerful – probably by far the most powerful platform ever made for Vehicle Activated Sign / Speed Indicator Display markets. This flexibility can only be leveraged if you have the software to support the hardware platform, at Kestrel Radar Sensors we have devised a new universal tool for all our new FlexAR family of products: the Kestrel WorkBench software suite. This powerful software solution allows complete control over device configuration. But even more than this, it allows the OEM developer to completely define or re-define the functionality of their sign products through a simple programming language. [IMG: programmable radar] For the first time, Programmable LED Signs have actually become programmable! The programmability is extremely flexible and the Kestrel products can be redefined in the field when fitted with remote accessibility. In fact, multiple operating programs can be loaded onto the Radar and a specific one activated as and when required. kenbo2022-05-23T10:24:44+00:00 [H4] Share This Story, Choose Your Platform! SUB-PAGE (http://kestrelradarsensors.com/oem-radar-speed-sign-kits/) Will Kestrel supply OEM Radar Speed Sign Kits? – Kestrel
[H1] Will Kestrel supply OEM Radar Speed Sign Kits? [H1] Will Kestrel supply OEM Radar Speed Sign Kits? [IMG: speed sign] Kestrel Radar Sensors have a new set of OEM Radar Speed Sign kits coming soon. The first of which is a 30cm 7 segment display in the form of a 2 digit (for MPH) or 3 digit (KMPH) applications. We also supply a large a ‘SLOW DOWN’ LED sign and a 12cm beacon. We will supply these signs preloaded with hardware from the Kestrel FlexAR range including the K2 Pico Radar and K2 Pico LED driver in order to have them ready to use. Further, as optional extras we can supply the K2 Pico BlueTooth module and/or the K2 Pico Modem module for communications. There are several other devices that can be added in too. The K2 Pico Radar itself can be supplied as a standard trigger radar for 100 metre or 200 metre detection with the option for data logging configuration. Not only this, but you’ll also have access to our power Kestrel WorkBench software, within which the devices are fully programmable for virtually any application you can think of. What’s the advantage of having the whole kit as opposed to buying individual parts for your own variant? The answer is that we build and test and deliver fully functional kits, so there is no need to worry about even the small amount of installation you might require with a self assembly option. Even if we don’t have a kit that meets your long term requirements we can always create a standard kit for your specific needs. We keep inventory of all our standard products and this allows you the freedom and benefit of reduced risk. Of course, you always have the option to build your own and we can supply individual items or even partially assembled products that suit your needs. An alternative is to use a base kit methodology. This is a very useful mechanism when you have several variants that are shipped. Adding an extra Pico module using the plug and play module boards allows for simple customisation with off-the-shelf standard products with minimal inventory. This mechanism allows the OEM customer the potential to offer a portfolio of products that would only require minimal additional stock. With Digit Signs, SLOW DOWN signs and with the K2 Pico series we have 4 radar options and 6 additional comms and IO board options. This kind of flexibility for kitting options is unique to Kestrel Radar Sensors. Put simply, we will be able to offer more options and combinations than any other supplier of Radar products. kenbo2022-05-23T10:24:44+00:00 [H4] Share This Story, Choose Your Platform! Your Diagnosis
Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.
Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)
These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.
Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.
Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.
Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.
Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.
Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.
Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.
Based on 2033 businesses audited.
Industrial, Manufacturing & Engineering BS: Kestrel Radar Sensors (www.kestrelradarsensors.com)
Kestrel Radar Sensors provides genuine technical substance and specific engineering specs that prove they are a real manufacturer, not a drop-shipper. However, the site is plagued by amateur authority signals, anonymous authorship, and unverified ‘World’s First’ claims that trigger standard BS detectors. It is a technically legitimate firm hiding behind a 2015-era marketing facade.
Immediately replace the author pseudonyms ‘sat’ and ‘kenbo’ with real names, titles, and LinkedIn profiles to establish human authority. Provide a specific ISO 9001 or equivalent certification number within the Quality sections to move beyond generic claims. Add a dedicated ‘Projects’ or ‘Clients’ section with named entities to validate the ‘trusted by’ assertions. Update the ‘Latest From The Blog’ section, as content from 2014 suggests a stagnant product line.
The site content strongly aligns with the Industrial, Manufacturing & Engineering category, specifically focusing on Doppler radar technology, K-Band frequencies, and OEM sign solutions. Technical language regarding GHz bands and power consumption confirms the business operates within high-specification electronics manufacturing.
“The score of 38 is driven primarily by the Trust and Proof pillar and Identity gaps. The presence of specific technical data (24GHz, 65mW) prevents a higher BS score, as these are 'hard' facts that provide high substance. The remaining points are a penalty for unverified reviews, superlative 'World's First' claims without evidence, and the complete lack of verifiable professional identities.”
This training module utilizes a snapshot of public data from Kestrel Radar Sensors, captured on May 21, 2026, to demonstrate how machine logic evaluates different types of business narratives.
Purpose: This data is presented under “Fair Use” / “Educational Exception” for the purpose of forensic semantic analysis, allowing users to compare human intuition against machine-generated evaluations.
Notice to Kestrel Radar Sensors: This analysis is part of a non-adversarial audit conducted by 1 Euro SEO. The results provided by 1EuroSEO are intended as professional feedback to help improve any website’s machine-readability and authority signals. The 1EuroSEO BS Detection Tool is a free tool, and anyone can test any company to see how their content is interpreted by AI models.
Any company can use the insights for free and improve its voice by comparing it to industry clichés or competitors. When a company has updated its content, it can always submit a new audit request, which will be reflected in a new current score.
To all users: You are encouraged to visit the live site at http://www.kestrelradarsensors.com to view the most current version of its content and learn from the source what this company is about and what it offers.
