FSSB-R3L MKII ULTRAbarto2024-11-01T14:00:29+01:00 The ULTRA force base can make you feel like a real F-16 pilot while flying, thanks to the new sensor board that allows you to reproduce the F-16 SSC movements realistically. The more comprehensive and realistic flight stick movements will improve your flight experience more quickly and make your maneuvers easier and more intuitive. [H1] FSSB-R3 Lighting MK II [H2] Fly like an F-16 pilot! 490,00 € [H1] “ULTRA” Buy it [IMG: FSSB-R3L_MK II] The ULTRA force base is the second version (Mark II) of the well-known FSSB-R3 Lighting. Unlike it, it incorporates a new sensors board that allows a realistic movement of the stick similar to the real F-16 SSC giving you better control feedback. [H2] Realistic flight stick movement [H2] A little bit of history As you surely know, the initial design of F-16 SSC had no movement, it only measured the force exerted by the pilot on the stick. After the dissatisfaction of the pilots in the initial tests and a meticulous study, a movement of 1/4 inch was incorporated into the SSC to transfer a better feeling to the pilot and thus facilitate the control of the aircraft, since without movement it was very difficult to control. As in the real F-16 SSC, our force bases include a small angular movement of the stick that helps to facilitate the adaptation to force control, which is appreciated in the first flights. This angular movement is larger or smaller depending on the model and specifically in the ULTRA model, it is equal to the real F-16 SSC. [IMG: FSSB-R3L ULTRA with F16SGRH] Lighting and ULTRA are two versions of the same product, with the same look and features. The only difference between both force bases is the sensors board, which makes them have a different feeling when you are flying and performing maneuvers. Both bases are developed for desktop use and have fully linear responses over the entire operating range and smoothness, and accuracy in areas close to the neutral position, although their response curves are different. [H2] FSSB-R3 Lighting Lighting vs [H2] FSSB-R3L ULTRA ULTRA [H2] Lighting or ULTRA, which should I choose? The Lighting model (green line) is a force base with a response that gives the user a high control feeling. If we compare its response with the F-16 SSC, it is within the limits marked by the specification of the F-16 SSC but limited to the maximum applied force of 13 lb. So the stick movements are smaller than the real one. This is not a problem or disadvantage for a desktop base since the optimal values of force are between 4 and 8 lbs. Flying with higher force values to emulate the F-16 SSC is very tiring. In the ULTRA model (blue line) we have made that the base has a realistic movement, achieving a displacement like the real SSC but applying approximately half the force than in the real one. In this way with the ULTRA base, we will achieve the maximum displacement by applying a force of 13 lbs (which is the maximum applicable) instead of the 24 lbs of the real one. Thus, obtaining the flight stick maneuverability similar to the real one with lower forces applied for desktop use. The answer is not direct, and it depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for a force base with a force/displacement curve until the 13 lbs similar to the F-16 SSC, knowing that the flight stick movements will be smaller than the real one, then the Lighting is your base. But if you want to have the same maneuverability as in the real SSC, with wider movements like the real one, that will allow your flight experience to improve more quickly and make your maneuvers easier and more intuitive, then the ULTRA is your base. [IMG: FSSB-R3L_MK II] [IMG: F-16 SSC, curve displacement vs force] The FSSB-R3L ULTRA is supplied with an aluminum black anodized fixation element for the stick. The fixation grip is done with a straight adapter populated with a 5-pin mini-DIN connector, compatible mechanically and electrically with all Realsimulator and Thrustmaster compatible grips. [H3] Solid construction The FSSB-R3L ULTRA is a force-sensing joystick base for desktop usage. It features an all-metal construction case made of aeronautic-grade aluminum. Inside the housing is a high-quality force sensors on a metal plate in conjunction with an electronic board that includes analog and digital sections. A last generation microcontroller of very high performances allows to improve and expand the functionality of the device. [H3] Connection for the Thrustmaster Warthog pcb In addition to the advantages offered by the use of the FSSB-R3L ULTRA as a standalone force sensing base, it has two connectors that allow sending data from ULTRA electronic to the HOTAS electronic board. In that way, you replace the HOTAS base with the FSSB-R3L ULTRA base, benefiting from the high quality of X and Y axes data. For installation use the video FSSB-R3 Warthog HOTAS Upgrade on our website. This option must be used when you want to use the Thrustmaster TARGET software. [H3] Double USB connection To meet new needs, the FSSB-R3L ULTRA includes a dual USB connection, the external and traditional mini-USB type B connector, and an internal socket type 5-way JST connector (B5B-PH-K-S). This internal connection is designed for assemblies where the traditional USB connector is left in the air without protection. This might happen when using various chair mounting systems for joysticks. In these cases, when the USB connector is loose, without support or protection, it can get accidental blows that might end up spoiling the USB cable or the R3L connector. With this new connection, the cable drives inside the FSSB-R3L housing and thus to avoids rigid parts external to the FSSB-R3L base, such as the USB cable connector. [H2] Characteristics [H3] Memory slots The FSSB-R3L ULTRA has memory slots for quick custom configuration. The number of slots available depends on the grip connected. With Thrustmaster's compatible grips the system offers 4 configurable slots, independently of the firmware installed. Change between slots is done with the Special Modes Menu. With Realsimulator’s grips and with the firmware specially developed for them, the system offers 8 configurable slots selectable easily through the rotary switch on the stick. [H3] Standard grip connection [H3] Visual and Aural advices The FSSB-R3L ULTRA base includes a visual and audible alert system that gives the pilot the necessary feedback to maintain full control. You can use both systems at the same time. The audible system delivers great feedback while flying in VR as the visual colored light that is being emitted from the center ring of the base will provide a silent but noticeable feedback in dark room conditions. [H3] Expansion sockets The electronics board includes two expansion sockets to support future hardware expansions. These new expansions will be connected directly to the FSSB-R3 instead to need an additional controller and an additional USB socket and wire. [IMG: FSSB-R3L ULTRA - Internal USB connection] As with other Realsimulator devices, the FSSB-R3 firmware is upgradeable. At the moment there is "MJF_FW" available in the firmware section. It includes the same features as the Lighting version (it has the same version number) and has support for Realsimulator and Thrustmaster compatible grips. This firmware unifies the functionalities of already non-supported MJF, BMS, and AER Lighting firmware. It includes the FSSB-R3L ULTRA as a composite device with a Game Controller for the DX axes and DX buttons, a Keyboard to send programmable keystrokes and a Mouse. The installation of FSSB-R3L ULTRA is very easy since it is a plug-and-play device with no drivers and we provide you with the necessary tools to configure and upgrade it. We support you with a GUI application (RS_HID_DEV_TOOL) to configure it and a firmware update tool (DCC) to install new versions of our firmware. After connecting the FSSB-R3L ULTRA to your computer via the USB connection, it will be recognized as an HID device with the name “FSSB R3 XXXXX”, where XXXX will be the name of the firmware installed. All of them are replica of F/A-18E Super Hornet with its true and ergonomic shape, manufactured in a one-piece body construction in high density resin and with a high-grade fixation system with a knurled nut. Home line is available in two versions, the F18CGRH with a matte finish and slight grainy feel and the F18CGRH Anti-Slip, manufactured with a special rubberized anti-slip coating. The F18CGRH can be used as a center stick like in the real jet and as a side stick. If it is going to be used as a side stick, the user can easily turn its position for a more ergonomic pilot usage. For that, the user must only unscrew two screws, turn the black grip part on the fixation system until the new position and screw the two screws in the new position holes. The F18CGRH includes a Rotary switch installed under the TRIM hat switch cap to easily hot swap between 8 configurable memory slots, 5-way switches in all the hat switches (TRIM, SENSOR and WEAPON SELECT), 5-way switches where in real grip there is only 1 way (WR, NWS and RECCE), a realistic trigger, a Bluetooth LE for firmware upgrade and three status LEDs used to show the slot in use. The new v2 models now include Haptic vibration technology as a new advice system and support for the F/A-18 Stick Adapter. Description Additional information Technical data Documentation Sales Conditions Reviews [H2] Description The F-18 Center Grip as well as the RS grips family come in two lines, Professional and Home. Professional range uses its own software and real military switches as well as custom socket and connector, under client specification. Home range comes in two versions, the F18CGRH and the F18CGRH Anti-Slip (F18CGRH-AS). Both models are one-piece body construction, made in black nylon plastic with a high-grade fixation system manufactured in aeronautic aluminum with a knurled nut. The only difference between both models is the surface finish. The F18CGRH has a matte finish and a slightly grainy feel and the F18CGRH-AS a special rubberized anti-slip coating. For simplicity, since both are functionally equal, in the below description we will refer to them as F18CGRH. The F18CGRH can be used as a center stick, like in the real jet and as a side stick. If it is going to be used as a side stick, the user can easily turn its position for a more ergonomic pilot usage. For that, the user must only unscrew two screws, turn the black grip part on the fixation system until the new position and screw the two screws in the new position holes. The F18CGRH includes next switches: Trim, Sensor Select, Weapon Release, Recce, Weapon Select, Nose wheel steering and a 2 stages trigger. Except trigger switch, all F18CGRH switches are 5-way switches, so you have available until 56 different buttons. The F18CGRH has the following features: [IMG: F/A-18 grip with Stick Apater and FSSB-R3 ULTRA] True F/A-18E Super Hornet shape which guarantees a grip fully ergonomic. Orientation of switches actuations perfectly adapted to the natural movement of the pilot’s finger when actuated it. Haptic vibration actuator (available only in v2 versions and functional only with FSSB-R3 Lighting and ULTRA bases). A Rotary switch, installed under the TRIM hat switch cap to easily hot swap between 8 configurable memory slots. With a single thumb movement, you can reconfigure the whole system in a fraction of a second. 5-way switches in all the hat switches (TRIM, SENSOR and WEAPON SELECT), with the possibility to disable the center position. 5-way switches where in real grip there is only 1 way (WR, NWS and RECCE), with the possibility to disable the additional directions. Realistic Trigger. Support for the F/A-18 Stick Adapter (only v2 versions). Three status LEDs used to show the slot in use. Add extra features to the FSSB-R3 Lighting and ULTRA when is connected to the R3L base. Firmware upgradeable through BLE, so you could need a 4.0 or higher BLE dongle if your PC doesn’t have BLE included. Three analog axes for Roll, Pitch and Yaw. These axes are independent of the standard axes in the X/Y base (Anti-Slip v2 version includes an enhanced version of sensors). [H3] The F18CGRH is a standard grip. It has communications with the base through a 5-pin mini-Din connector, just like all Thrustmaster compatible grips. The information the user can obtain from the F18CGRH through this connector only depends on the base connected. That means that if the F18CGRH is used with a TM Warthog base, the features will be identical to a Warthog stick, but if it is used with a FSSB-R3L (Lightnig and ULTRA), you will be able to enjoy all the new features included in the new firmware created for the R3L: 8 different configurable slots, 56 buttons to send keystrokes, a digital mouse, etc. [H3] Improve the FSSB-R3L with new features. When the F18CGRH is connected to a FSSB-R3L or ULTRA base, the latter offers the following additional features: slot number goes from 4 to 8, no SMM system just as you have 8 different configurations with hot swap (fast change) and 56 buttons to achieve the center position and center + up, down, right, left, and additional keyboard functions. A new feature added to the v2 models is the haptic vibrational feedback. These grips have a vibration actuator that allows to generate vibrations that the user can perceive and associate to different situations. To enjoy it, it is necessary a FSSB-R3L (Lighting or ULTRA) base with a MJF_FW_F16-18_5 firmware and at least the RS_HID_DEV_TOOL v15. Feedbacks already included in this version are the warning and the maximum force signals. [H3] Tool to update it. The F18CGRH is supplied with the firmware update tool “DCC” that let you easily install new firmware versions. This tool is included and can be downloaded with the RS_TOOLS package from the download page of our website. To update the F18CGRH the only requirement is a BLE connection in the computer, integrated in the motherboard or through a dongle and run Windows 8.1 or higher because windows 7 and 8.0 do not support BLE devices. We suggest using Windows 10 or 11, we have fully tested the device functionality and software tools supplied in these OS. [H3] The BLE functionality. First all, we want to clarify that the F18CGRH has a BLE module for firmware update purposes. Realsimulator has left opened to the users the possibility of using the BLE module as an alternative way for communications, but this way won’t receive support from Realsimulator since we have been able to verify that the problems some users had with this functionality was caused by the BLE devices used, wrong installations or even by electromagnetics interferences with other devices or nets, in any case, home problems not product problems. To help you with this matter if you decide to use it, Realsimulator offers you the product User Guide and our forums, where you will find information about this matter and others. Typically, it must work without problems but if you have them, you must find the source of the problem to fix it. In conclusion, all content of this paragraph is related with the use of the BLE module and to features linked to it, so all of them are unsupported. The new F18CGRH-AS v2 incorporate a new and improved version of the pitch, roll and yaw sensors that do not require the pairing operation to work properly. The new hardware and firmware included in the pcb makes this procedure automatically. The F18CGRH-AS includes a power cable (mini-DIN to USB) of 1,8 m for standalone use. The use of BLE module for communications allows you use the F18CGRH as a standalone device or as a smart grip connected to a TM compatible base; it only need a power to work. So you will be able to use the RS_HID_DEV_TOOL to configure it and receive directly the information of buttons and the Pitch, Roll and Yaw sensors. When you connect it to the computer by BLE it will be shown as a composite device in the Device and printer window with the next properties: joystick (axes and buttons), keyboard (keystrokes) and mouse. The F18CGRH is fully configurable with the RS_HID_DEV_TOOL, it let you adjust all parameters and functionalities per each memory slot and calibrate the three operatives axes: Roll, Pitch and Yaw. In every slot you can configure the next analog features: Full Scale Control Roll Sensitivity Pitch Sensitivity Yaw Sensitivity Roll Control Assistance BFA Roll level BFA Pitch level Precision mode Other additional features are: HAT as POV or TRIM Keystrokes ON/OFF DX Buttons ON/OFF DX Center Buttons in four modes: native (ON), basic (COMP), center removed (OFF) and double click (DClick). Test window called Output 56 DX buttons can be enabled or disabled for every slot. 56 keystrokes can be enabled or disabled for every slot and of course can be different in every slot DX events and Keystrokes generation by pulses, additional slot change thanks to the Shifter and Toggle functions, and Digital Mouse. SWLed function to enable/disable showing switches activation in status LEDs when pressed. Adjustable LEDs lighting level. I do not have any ties to the company. I’m not a professional reviewer or Youtuber looking for followers, not even a licensed pilot (interventional cardiologist IRL). I, however, do get to try out new things once in a while because Realsim loves receiving meaningful and constructive feedbacks from customers. The objective of this write up is to help clarify the functionality of this soon to be release device as well as my very own impressions of it during initial usage. My primary purpose is also to provide feedbacks to Realsim, rather than you guys. I do have my own unit coming in later this month or next month. What is the F-18CGRH?It is a replica of the F/A-18E grip with additional functionality. This is a step-down model of Realsim’s military version which is specifically designed for home use with more affordable pricing. CGRH stands for center grip right handed, they also provide side grip as well as left handed versions. "description": "F-18 grips are manufactured in two lines, Professional and Home. All of them are replica of F/A-18E Super Hornet with its true and ergonomic shape, manufactured in a one-piece body construction in high density resin and with a high-grade fixation system with a knurled nut.\r\n\r\nHome line is available in two versions, the F18CGRH with a matte finish and slight grainy feel and the F18CGRH Anti-Slip, manufactured with a special rubberized anti-slip coating.\r\n\r\nThe F18CGRH can be used as a center stick like in the real jet and as a side stick. If it is going to be used as a side stick, the user can easily turn its position for a more ergonomic pilot usage. For that, the user must only unscrew two screws, turn the black grip part on the fixation system until the new position and screw the two screws in the new position holes.\r\n\r\nThe F18CGRH includes a Rotary switch installed under the TRIM hat switch cap to easily hot swap between 8 configurable memory slots, 5-way switches in all the hat switches (TRIM, SENSOR and WEAPON SELECT), 5-way switches where in real grip there is only 1 way (WR, NWS and RECCE), a realistic trigger, a Bluetooth LE for firmware upgrade and three status LEDs used to show the slot in use.\r\n\r\nThe new v2 models now include Haptic vibration technology as a new advice system and support for the F/A-18 Stick Adapter.\r\n\r\n ",

Your Diagnosis
Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.
Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)
These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.
Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.
Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.
Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.
Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.
Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.
Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.
Based on 2034 businesses audited.
Industrial, Manufacturing & Engineering BS: EMYCSA – RealSimulator (realsimulator.com)
This is a high-substance engineering site that treats its audience as technically literate professionals rather than marketing targets. It successfully bridges the gap between ‘enthusiast gear’ and ‘tactical training systems’ through extreme technical transparency. The only significant bullshit detected is the use of unverified internal star ratings and the lack of named human authority behind the ‘CEO’ mentions.
Fix the technical SEO error by populating the empty H1 tag on the homepage with a keyword-rich title like ‘High-Fidelity Flight Simulation Force Sensors.’ Replace the internally hosted review blocks with a verified third-party review widget (e.g., Trustpilot) to eliminate trust theatre flags. Add a ‘Meet the Team’ or ‘About EMYCSA’ page that identifies the leadership by name and provides LinkedIn links to establish verifiable expertise. Include a dedicated ‘Case Studies’ section that links to official press releases or OEM partner announcements regarding the ‘historic milestones’ mentioned in the news feed.
The website perfectly matches the Industrial, Manufacturing & Engineering category, specifically focusing on high-fidelity flight simulation hardware. The content is saturated with technical manufacturing details including material science (carbon fiber, high-density resin), electromechanical specifications (force sensors, 13 lb load limits), and software integration protocols.
“The score of 26 is driven primarily by the Trust and Proof pillar due to the use of unverified star ratings and the Identity pillar's lack of named experts. The site scored near-perfect on Semantic Coherence and Information Density, which is rare for this industry category. Technical implementation issues like the missing H1 on the homepage contributed slightly to the authority gap score.”
This training module utilizes a snapshot of public data from EMYCSA – RealSimulator, captured on May 25, 2026, to demonstrate how machine logic evaluates different types of business narratives.
Purpose: This data is presented under “Fair Use” / “Educational Exception” for the purpose of forensic semantic analysis, allowing users to compare human intuition against machine-generated evaluations.
Notice to EMYCSA – RealSimulator: This analysis is part of a non-adversarial audit conducted by 1 Euro SEO. The results provided by 1EuroSEO are intended as professional feedback to help improve any website’s machine-readability and authority signals. The 1EuroSEO BS Detection Tool is a free tool, and anyone can test any company to see how their content is interpreted by AI models.
Any company can use the insights for free and improve its voice by comparing it to industry clichés or competitors. When a company has updated its content, it can always submit a new audit request, which will be reflected in a new current score.
To all users: You are encouraged to visit the live site at https://realsimulator.com to view the most current version of its content and learn from the source what this company is about and what it offers.
