Home ▸ Support [H1] Server Technology Product Support & Downloads Important note for customers using DCPDU, PRO3X & PRO4X PDU models with Xerus™ platform: We have identified a critical issue in the PDU firmware version 4.0.0 and later. Due to features introduced in 4.0.0 and later firmware, the flash write frequency on ServerTech PRO3X and PRO4X PDUs with Xerus controllers may cause flash wear, leading to long-term reliability and performance issues. This does NOT affect the PDU outlet power state. An upgrade to Xerus Firmware v4.3.13 or later is required to reduce flash write cycles and mitigate this potential issue. Please prioritize this firmware upgrade in your operations. Please click here for more information, or contact the technical support team. We strongly recommend that all customers with these products upgrade PDUs to this firmware as soon as possible. [H3] 45-Degree Angled Infeed is a flexible infeed cord design that improves infeed accessibility and reduces the number of PDU configurations needed. Wherever you feed your cabinet's branch circuit power, the PRO4X's angled infeed is a one-size-fits-all solution that supports end or front entries to position the PDU where needed, simplifying your deployments while saving time and money. [H5] Universal Input Option The optional Universal Input (UPDU) accommodates single-phase and three-phase Legrand® Universal Input Cord options for the same PDU. It allows the PDU to adapt to dynamic power configurations, simplifying deployments and providing a genuine plug-and-play solution. To learn more, visit the Universal Input landing page. [H3] RamLock Mechanical Locking is a high-strength outlet and cord-locking system that mechanically secures C14 and C20 plugs to your PDU without requiring special cables, sleeves, or adapters. It allows quick power cord installations and unplugging with a one-handed “squeeze and pull" action. Additionally, it prevents unintended downtime due to power cords becoming unintentionally unplugged. [H3] High Density Outlet Technology (HDOT®) is a patented design that removes unnecessary outlet moldings and uses module grouping to fit more outlets into the same space. HDOT outlets are more than 20% smaller than standard PDU outlets, allowing maximum equipment density. HDOT ensures maximum outlet density. One pair of PRO4X PDUs with HDOT outlets evenly distributed across the PDU can accommodate dense configurations where three or four PDUs would have been necessary. [H3] HDOT Cx® Outlets are patented and industry awarded to be a hybrid of IEC C13 and C19 outlets. This industry-first technology allows C14 and C20 power cables to be installed into a single flexible outlet without additional parts or adapters. HDOT Cx provides ultimate flexibility and density by putting the maximum number of the right outlets in the right place on one single wide PDU. HDOT Cx reduces complexity and costs by reducing the need to purchase new PDUs when future equipment updates occur. [H3] Alternating Phase Power Distribution alternates the PDU's different phases on a per-outlet basis down the length of the PDU to evenly distribute the power over the entire rack. In three-phase PDU applications Alternating Phase Power Distribution supports faster installations, shorter cord lengths, better airflow in the back of the cabinet, and much easier load balancing across three phases. These translate to lowering cooling and cabling costs and less chance of tripping a breaker at the PDU or upstream breaker. Request a Quote [H2] Revolutionary Intelligence Transforming Rack Power Distribution The PRO4X provides unmatched insights for capacity planning, infrastructure scaling, troubleshooting, environmental and security monitoring, and efficiency improvements at the cabinet. Your Diagnosis
Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.
Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)
These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.
Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.
Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.
Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.
Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.
Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.
Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.
Based on 2033 businesses audited.
Industrial, Manufacturing & Engineering BS: Server Technology (servertech.com)
This is a high-substance engineering site wearing a slightly thin layer of modern marketing fluff. While the ‘Revolutionary Intelligence’ branding is hyperbolic, the underlying technical documentation and high-authority client list prove the site is not built on hot air. It is a rare example where the ‘marketing signal’ is actually slower than the ‘technical substance’.
Eliminate the word ‘revolutionary’ from all H2 and H3 tags and replace it with specific performance metrics. Implement Product and Organization schema with sameAs links to the parent company (Legrand) and specific certification bodies. Fix the missing H1 on the PRO4X product page to match its technical positioning. Explicitly list the ISO 9001 or 14001 certificate numbers rather than just claiming ‘quality’.
The site perfectly aligns with the Industrial and Power Distribution sector. The content focuses heavily on rack power distribution units (PDUs), technical specifications like +/-0.5% metering accuracy, and industry-specific certifications (TUVus, IEC 62368).
“The score of 24 is primarily driven by Commodity Fingerprint (cliches) and Authority Gaps (technical implementation/schema). Information Density (10/30) reflects the fact that while substance is high, the site still uses significant 'power word' padding in its heading structure. Semantic Coherence (0) indicates perfect alignment between marketing promises and product reality.”
