Product advantages
Why insulate
Sustainability

[H3]
Mineral Wool

In the main application areas. mineral wool is the most efficient and user-friendly thermal and acoustic insulation material, both from an ecological and economic point of view.

[H3]
Extruded Polystyrene - XPS

XPS is unique in its combination of high thermal insulation, exceptional compressive strength, excellent resistance to water and freeze-thaw cycles and easy installation.

[H3]

White blow-in wool is an eco-friendly insulation solution perfect for hard-to-reach spaces like attics and walls. It provides superior thermal performance, filling gaps and crevices for complete coverage and improved energy efficiency.

[H3] Thermal insulation

URSA’s products offer superior thermal comfort in buildings, whether homes or offices. Moreover, thermal insulation helps to reduce costs generated by heating, cooling and ventilation, all while lowering a building’s carbon footprint and thus helping our planet.
In this regard, our insulation products offer unique benefits to the end user: excellent levels of thermal comfort coupled with reduced energy demand – the ideal cost-effective solution.
Thermal insulation is the most cost-effective way to save energy: every euro invested in insulation can result in savings of up to seven times during the product’s lifetime, according to a study by the European Insulation Manufacturers Association (EURIMA).
Our glass mineral wool achieves the best thermal conductivity values among wool insulation materials – as low as 0.031 watts per meter-kelvin (W/mK). It also boasts superior acoustic and fire performance, low environmental impact and ease of handling.
Our extruded polystyrene (XPS) achieves even lower thermal conductivity levels – as low as 0.029 W/mK. The unique benefits of XPS consist of high thermal performance and energy efficiency, compressive strength and water resistance. This provides unmatched value in challenging applications such as foundations/perimeters and flat roofs.

[H3] Acoustic comfort

Due to its elastic nature, glass mineral wool uniquely combines both thermal and acoustic benefits. It is used as acoustic insulation in a range of applications: partition walls, flooring, acoustic ceilings, external walls and pitched roofs.
URSA’s products have been subjected to a range of acoustic testing across European markets and have been proven to offer excellent acoustic insulation. Depending on the application tested, systems with our products achieved a sound-reduction potential of 40 to 80 decibels.

[H3] Fire safety

URSA’s glass mineral wool products offer very high standards of fire safety. They have been proven to contain fire and prevent its spread, as well as produce a low quantity of smoke. These high-performance characteristics have earned our glass mineral wool products the A1 and A2 ratings (out of seven categories) in the European Reaction to Fire (Euro classes) classification system. These are the best results among most common insulation materials.
The fire-resistance rating of a structure is identified by the REI class. This determines how long, in minutes, a construction element can preserve its mechanical resistance, its integrity against flames and gases, and its thermal insulation. Certain constructions using our glass mineral wool products have achieved REI 120, meaning they can resist fire for 120 minutes.

[H3] Indoor air quality

The quality of indoor air is becoming a key concern across Europe because it affects people’s health.
URSA’s insulation materials offer best-in-class levels of indoor air comfort.
Thanks to our long-term product development and innovation efforts, the following internationally recognized certification schemes have been accredited to our insulation materials as a result of their ultra-low volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions:

They achieve the best classification in terms of volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions, making them safe for installers and final users. URSA offers installation training and free installation advisory services.

[H3] Recycling

Recycled and recyclable. Both URSA glass mineral wool and XPS are designed to be environmentally friendly.
We strongly support the European Union’s strategy for a circular economy and the commitment to reducing waste and minimizing the use of natural resources by recycling.
Using recycled materials helps to reduce the use of virgin raw materials in production process. This leads to a more efficient use of natural resources. Ideally, final products can be re-used in different applications, or can be re-introduced into the production process like in the case of production waste. This improves the life cycle impact of our materials by reducing the impact on the environment.
Both URSA’s glass mineral wool and extruded polystyrene (XPS) support this concept.
For our glass mineral wool, we use recycled glass (consumer glass waste and car industry glass) as our raw material. We also re-channel our production waste back into our production processes. And we are developing concepts and practices to use glass wool waste from demolition as input material for our production.
For our XPS, the major input material is polystyrene. We have been at the forefront of the industry to enable our manufacturing plants, together with recycling partners, to use up to 80% recycled polystyrene for specific product groups as input material. This recycled polystyrene comes from sources such as food industry boxes and consumer packaging, helping to reduce waste disposal and incineration. And as with our glass mineral wool, we also re-use our own XPS production waste as input material.

Your Diagnosis

Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.

Information Density 0 / 30
Read the Narrative & headings: do hard facts (prices, dates, numbers) outweigh fluff power-words?
Semantic Coherence 0 / 20
Compare the homepage promise against the sub-page reality. Do they hold the same line?
Trust & Proof 0 / 20
Weigh review mentions against actual external proof links. Claims without verification = theatre.
Commodity Fingerprint 0 / 15
Check headings & narrative against the industry clichés in the setup above.
Identity & Authority 0 / 15
Inspect the schema: is there real Organization/Person identity with sameAs links, or gaps?
Your predicted BS score 0 / 100
💡 Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)

These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.

Information Density

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Semantic Alignment

Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.

Trust & Proof

Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.

Commodity Fingerprint

Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.

Identity & Authority

Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.

Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.

Implement Organization and Product schema to provide a verified digital identity and bridge the technical credibility gap. Replace the generic ‘Case Studies’ and ‘Sustainability Reports’ H3 placeholders with specific, unique project titles like ‘The Hungarian House of Music’ to break the template repetition. Provide direct outbound links to the Blue Angel and Eurofins certificate repositories to convert trust theatre into verifiable proof. Remove the ‘Sustainability is in our DNA’ cliché from the primary headings to favor more specific product-led claims.

The site perfectly aligns with the Industrial, Manufacturing & Engineering category, specifically focusing on the production of thermal and acoustic insulation materials. The technical focus on mineral wool and extruded polystyrene (XPS) confirms its position as a specialized manufacturer.

“The BS score of 39 is primarily driven by the Trust and Proof (13/20) and Identity and Authority (12/15) pillars. The site lost points for having a true trust_theatre_flag across all pages and for the total absence of JSON-LD schema. Its low Information Density score (5/30) reflects a high volume of actual technical data that offsets the corporate fluff.”
