Vortex Fabrication works with some of the most demanding customers in the world.  In addition to welding, our precision fabrication capabilities include punching, shearing, sawing, bending, flame, plasma and water jet cutting. We also roll, notch, finish, assemble, and precision straighten.

Our Southern California facility is designed to accommodate large structures up to 100ft in length with the flexibility to locate tools and equipment throughout the building. Our extensive equipment list goes beyond the usual array of welding equipment, sanders, drills, mills and saws.Welding Certifications:

CAPABILITIES:

ENGINEERING AND DESIGN:
From existing CAD design or concept using  Solidworks and AutoCAD.

SHEET METAL FABRICATION:
Precision press braking to 12 feet and precision  shearing to 3/8” thick X 10 feet wide, plus plasma  cutting, punching, notching, sawing, rolling and  bending.

WELDING:

MIL STD/NAVSEA certified to weld steel (included  hardened types), stainless and aluminum using  MIG, TIG, stick, and spot, plus TIG seam welding of  sheets and tubes.

MACHINING:
Precision milling and turning of all metals, plastics,  and ceramics for parts, fixtures, tooling and repairs.

We’ve invested in equipment that giving us unique  capabilities:
Hydraulic 220 ton Numerically Controlled Press  Brake with 12ft x 6.125” capacity with more than  50 top and bottom dies.
Hydraulic Numerically Controlled Guillotine with  10 x 1/2” thickness shearing capability.

Six Blanchard–ground cast iron welding tables  laser aligned and slotted for precision fabrication  of large structures.
