DSI has created a suite of design and productivity tools, know as TRaDE (Technology Refresh and Deployment Empowerment) Tools, that run on distributed computing platforms using Microsoft’s Server and XP operating systems to address the burgeoning demand for the planning, configuration, integration, and deployment of networking technologies including routers, switches, PCs, servers, and enterprise applications. TRaDE is comprised of two distinct tool sets; ICON for internetworking devices and PC GenIE for PCs. By leveraging our documented process methodology and proprietary TRaDE software tools, the company efficiently manages many otherwise labor intensive implementation services, significantly reducing the time and costs associated with these services.
In comparison to more traditional system integration methods, DSI’s software-enabled process leverages the talents of seasoned engineers in the hands of less experienced technical resources and provides for a “down-skilling” of the tasks they perform by delivering an automated and replicable framework for expertise. These software-enabled tasks result in reduced time cycles to deliver the solution and more complete results such as structured documentation and testing procedures.
To draw an analogy to a typical manufacturing business, DSI’s software-enabled process results in a higher yield from a project’s resources. For our clients and strategic partners, this ensures an efficient and cost effective means of implementation tasks for projects of any size or complexity. This also results in improved documentation, testing procedures, and asset tracking.
ICON acts as a master repository for the collection and management of all of the design and configuration information and rules that are learned during the execution of DSI’s process methodology and project management services. ICON collects and organizes project-specific information into databases that are easily manipulated for the purposes of system configuration and documentation.
The automation and increased productivity provided by DSI’s process model, for what are highly complex and labor-intensive tasks, permits us to be significantly more price competitive. By analyzing the performance results from this process methodology, estimating task times and costs become significantly more accurate for future projects. As these tasks become less dependent on human intervention and are increasingly automated, they mitigate the risk of cost overruns. Finally, DSI follows the principle of progressive gain sharing – facilitating the ongoing creation of cost savings that result in a mutually rewarding relationship with our clients.

[H2] Computing Deployment Solutions (CDS)

When an organization’s IT environment falls short of the ideal, a gap forms. This gap is typically characterized by excessive and uncontrolled IT spending due to a complex, difficult-to-support computing environment. This inadequate environment makes system deployments and software implementations problematic. Legacy hardware and software can constrict the computing tasks and solutions IT is capable of offering end users.
The solution is to reduce complexity and increase standardization by selecting a hardware and software baseline, or set of similar baselines, to which all users have access. With standard baselines, the IT department can more easily manage computing resources and roll out new software and hardware to its users. This enables IT to divert spending away from excessive support and maintenance and into strengthening the organization’s competitive advantage and ability to reach its goals.
DSI provides guidance for managing these tasks. At its heart, DSI is about dedicated people using technology standards coupled with in-house automation tools and business processes to improve the deployment of computing devices and make your data environment more efficient.
DSI‘s SKIIL process is a flexible, interrelated series of concepts, models, and best practices that serve as a foundation on which to plan and build technology projects. SKIL principles and practices help organizations define, develop, and deploy technology solutions that meet business objectives. Distributed computing projects tend to be long and complex, and the SKIL process helps participants by creating high-level consensus on vision, architecture, responsibilities, scheduling, and other factors that determine success or failure. A shared vision makes it possible to define, schedule, and carry out detailed methods.
DSI’s Computing Deployment Solutions offering provides the following:
TRaDE configuration system enables the custom-configured load of both the operating system and applications and server operating systems and applications.
Operating system loads can be easily configured to meet the customer’s specific requirements. This enables components to be configured consistently, reliability, and with little or no manual intervention and the use of server/workstation profiles can permit site-specific configuration.
Software-enabled configuration allows easy updating of system configuration software or files over extended build/rollout periods, if customer desires. For example, virus protection software will often have updated signature files that are released periodically. These updated files, after approval by the customer, can be easily added to the PC distribution sets.
Consistency of automated configuration process assures that devices are configured similarly over time and is not dependent on configuration decisions made by various engineers in the field.
Custom configuration parameters can be added to accommodate specific customer application requirements (e.g. user specific host IDs, communications gateway addresses, etc.), permitting devices to be configured with a high degree of customization, further eliminating the need for hardware “tune up” in the field.
Custom desktop applications (e.g., Computing Device database apps and data files) can be “reverse-integrated” and distributed to PCs being built.
Desktop application software can be distributed according to group membership or profile, or by exception.
TRaDE software has complete support for all aspects of automated software installation, including file distribution, registry updates, and INI and text file updates. Use of user-specific variables inside software templates enables the building of highly customized application configuration files, especially helpful in configuring communications applications.
Complete support for Windows built-in desktop policy and security features, allowing the production of Windows desktops that are completely customized according to the customer’s needs.

[H2] Technology Refresh Solutions (TRS)

Technology Refresh Solutions (TRS) is DSI’s solution for the on-site upgrade, configuration and testing of standard platforms, operating systems, and applications. DSI’s TRS leverages the portability and flexibility of our process and tools to deliver rapid, high quality system upgrades and migrations.
As previously described, the tangible benefits of the software-enabled configuration and deployment process can easily be measured in terms of improved performance, increased quality, and reduced costs. The following statements outline the benefits of DSI’s software-enabled process and demonstrate our unique capabilities and approach in preparing and delivering sophisticated computing platforms, operating systems, and applications:
Server and PC configuration design assistance available (if needed) from experienced network and PC configuration design engineers to formalize design standards, implementation methodologies and to establish processes for customer/DSI configuration center.
The configuration process can produce all necessary component labels and shipping documentation based according to customer needs.
Customized test scripts or processes can be designed according to customer’s needs and run on every unit built or on selected samples to verify correct setup and operation.
Customer configuration data can be accepted in a variety of electronic formats (the most popular is spreadsheet format) and imported into the TRaDE tool database. This eliminates configuration errors due to re-keying of configuration data,
Configuration reports on the hardware build settings are designed according to the desired output content and format, and printed following device configuration. These reports can be a valuable post-installation support tool for the IT and Help Desk staff.
Hardware damaged or lost during transit can be quickly replaced by regenerating a replacement using the configuration information from the software database. This lessens the chance of incomplete or delayed installations.

Your Diagnosis

Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.

Information Density 0 / 30
Read the Narrative & headings: do hard facts (prices, dates, numbers) outweigh fluff power-words?
Semantic Coherence 0 / 20
Compare the homepage promise against the sub-page reality. Do they hold the same line?
Trust & Proof 0 / 20
Weigh review mentions against actual external proof links. Claims without verification = theatre.
Commodity Fingerprint 0 / 15
Check headings & narrative against the industry clichés in the setup above.
Identity & Authority 0 / 15
Inspect the schema: is there real Organization/Person identity with sameAs links, or gaps?
Your predicted BS score 0 / 100
💡 Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)

These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.

Information Density

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Semantic Alignment

Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.

Trust & Proof

Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.

Commodity Fingerprint

Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.

Identity & Authority

Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.

Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.

Immediately remove all references to Windows XP and legacy operating systems to restore technical relevance. Delete the default ‘Welcome to WordPress’ post and the 2015/2016 news entries which serve as forensic proof of abandonment. Correct the numerous spelling errors in the ‘What We Do!’ section (e.g., ‘Prodictability’, ‘Reducation’). Replace generic claims of ‘higher yield’ with at least three named case studies containing actual percentage-based performance metrics.

The site aligns with the IT Services and Deployment category, specifically focusing on hardware and software rollouts. However, the technical content suggests a massive temporal mismatch, describing services for obsolete technology.

“The score of 73 is driven primarily by the Trust and Proof and Identity and Authority pillars. The combination of stale content (121 months old), obsolete technical references, verified Trust Theatre flags, and a total lack of named experts or external proof creates a high-bullshit environment despite the presence of specific (albeit dated) service descriptions.”
