We follow the timeless tradition of creating custom jewelry that reflects the foundation of our lives to hold close our most treasured people against our hearts or on our hands. These foundational pieces represent affection, loyalty, and provide a lineage between generations as we wear the wedding dates of our grandparents, the birthdates of our children, and our own initials that will one day be passed down.        Symbols & Tenets   Remind, Reinforce, and Amplify our Self-Agency and Free Will that Fuel our Continual Growth       We gather insight and wisdom through experience, consciously choosing our formal and informal sources of education. Too often, we do not actively cultivate the deep well of the subconscious. The symbols of our lexicon lie inside  us, waiting to be excavated from the recesses of our minds. Symbols are a visual, universal language that we inherit from our ancestors and that evokes primal responses. These figures and designs give us a language for our experiences, much as alphabets do for written thought. Symbols help us express ourselves by sharing inspiration and ideas, calling forth what we already know deep inside so that our conscious and subconscious can become aligned.       And with that alignment, we develop our Tenets—our beliefs. These beliefs are spiritual cornerstones that define us and inspire our next chapter. Our Tenets remind us that we can always choose, can always change. We each have free will and agency over our lives. We can choose what and when to dream, whom we love, and what sustains us through difficult moments. The Tenets we hold dear are a reflection of both our strengths and opportunities for growth. They embody the core values that we must put energy into every day to make them a bigger part of our lives. We need reminders—little signposts in front of us to keep them in our sight. There are different points in our lives when a Tenet is particularly important to guide us in becoming who we’re really meant to be.

Beth Hutchens is a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). Industry honors include her nomination for the 2021 "Jewelry Designer of the Year," her nomination for the 2019 “Emerging Designer of the Year” by CFDA (the only jewelry designer in the category); receiving the 2018 Town & Country Jewelry Award for “Breakthrough of the Year;” and Jewelers of America nomination in the category of Retail Excellence in 2020. In 2025, Beth won the GEM Award for Jewelry Design, which honors aesthetic excellence and an extraordinary vision that will inspire and influence the future of jewelry design.

In 2018, FoundRae opened its first doorway. The landmarked, cast-iron structure that houses the FoundRae flagship was originally constructed in 1867. One of the original wooden support beams functions as the “foundation” of the stairway that leads from the studio to the expansive street-level space. The store is an eclectic mix of antique and vintage pieces, contemporary art, and custom artisan craftsmanship.The original inspiration of the design was to create a residential library, which includes the collections of many generations of family members but continues to be alive with new additions. The FoundRae flagship feels very personal, and welcoming; so much so that Beth’s personal book collection lives on the shelves and the books on the bottom two shelves can be checked out as a lending library.

FoundRae’s second hometown location opened in September 2024 at 777 Madison Avenue. Each FoundRae venue features a signature emblem on the front entrance with a Crossed Arrows seal marking its “crossing of paths,” as well as a motif unique to that store. The seal for the Madison Avenue location features Lion and Tiger symbols, as well as the number of the address: 777.The space is a mix of a muted cinnabar red, a shade named for the faded stamp marks on centuries-old Japanese temple robes, and a scarlet hue used in FoundRae’s Strength tenet. These warm tones are paired with sophisticated deep walnut wood paneling and smooth camel leather.

In October 2024, FoundRae is opened in The Moore, a building considered the crown jewel of Miami’s iconic Design District. This century-old landmark features a 1920s Neoclassical exterior juxtaposed with a modern Zaha Hadid installation in the four-story interior arcade.The store features a long entry hallway, dining room and baby grand piano, all designed to feel like a home centered around a grand library. Since the earliest days of FoundRae’s creation, the brand’s identity has drawn on literature and symbolism as reference points, and leather-bound tomes are still used to display jewelry. These serve as physical reminders of a spiritual goal: FoundRae’s designs are intended to provoke thought and inspire people to pursue meaningful lives. Using a universal language of mystical symbols, letters and numbers, FoundRae clients can create personalized talismans and collections that reflect their experiences, journeys, beliefs, and hopes.

FoundRae’s first West Coast doorway opened in August 2024 at 8405 Melrose Place. The iconic vine-covered stucco, a hallmark of the street, comprises the exterior, and light-toned wood décor is punctuated by pops of color inside.The most striking feature is a 70-foot backlit composition of symbols that spans the entire ceiling.  Beth refers to it as a map of the FoundRae ethos, a constellation of emblems that represent the brand’s foundational principles and inspire each collection.

All stories have a beginning, and this one starts with a tiny but tall three-story space, in Dallas that was intended to be an elevator shaft but was never converted into one. In September 2023, and in partnership with The Conservatory, FoundRae opened their second doorway located in this annex of The Conservatory at Highland Park Village - a collaboration of FoundRae Fine Jewelry and a curation of collectible objects.This store is a 500-square-foot jewelry box, like a small map room within the cocoon of a great library. The design intent was to maintain the connection to a library room and what they invoke: the idea of getting lost in a sea of inspiration, the cozy space for reflection it provides, but also their role in preservation.This intimate space provides a cozy well of inspiration & limitless tools to create your next modern heirloom.

[H2] Palm Beach
In October 2025, FoundRae opened at 450 S. County Road in Palm Beach. The boutique’s footprint is an unusual triangle shape, with an expanse of glass windows that inspired Creative Director Beth Hutchens to create what she refers to as a “golden solarium.” To this end, one boutique wall features large panels of verre églomisé, an ancient technique of gilding and painting glass that requires immense skill and technical knowledge. The reverse side of each panel of glass is painted, layer upon layer, with paint, gold leaf, and even crushed abalone shells. This artisanal method gives new depth and beauty to FoundRae’s map of Tenets and symbols, interspersed with depictions of palm fronds as a nod to the store’s natural surroundings. As in all FoundRae boutiques, the entire experience is intended to inspire, nourish, and accelerate the discovery process of each visitor in their lifelong journey of self-actualization.

[H2] Aspen
In January 2026, FoundRae opened its doors at at 520 E. Hyman Avenue. The design aesthetic of the store was loosely inspired by a stately library: a green marble floor with brass inlay greets customers as they enter, and the interior features fresh green walls, a green lacquered ceiling, and black chevron floors with accents of green marble and brass inlay. In keeping with the brand’s other locations, the Aspen store is filled with artisanal touches. A hand-assembled wood marquetry sunburst adorns the wall near the entrance. Hand-blown glass sconces imprinted with the brand’s tenet symbols illuminate the space, which also features a leather wall and green leather banquettes embossed with FoundRae’s tenets and symbols. The effect is an elegant interplay of color and texture, with warm brass fixtures throughout.

[H2] FoundRae at Liberty London
In June 2025, FoundRae opened its first international doorway in the Liberty London flagship, a world-renowned luxury department store located on Great Marlborough Street in London’s West End. Founded in 1875, Liberty is most famous for its bold floral print fabrics but has also become known for championing and partnering with notable artists and cultural institutions. The FoundRae alcove in Liberty’s jewelry department evokes the feeling of a stately library, with rich brown wood and illuminated display cabinets with shelves of medallion-clad books. On the central Tenet wall, leather-wrapped panels in different colors create a patchwork of FoundRae’s tenets and symbols–a bright backdrop for FoundRae’s wide array of jewelry.
