Our in-house design team can work closely with you to create beautiful Bespoke Designs that reflect your personality and individual taste. Whether you already have an idea in mind, or are looking for inspiration, work with our professional team to bring your designs to life.
We use the latest Computer Aided Design (CAD) technnology to create vivid 3D images, so that you can see exactly what your jewellery will look like before you commit to buy. The design can be altered to fit your exact requirements and only when you’re entirely happy, will we begin to make the piece in our on-site workshop.

[H1] About Phillip Stoner The Jeweller

Phillip Stoner The Jeweller began as a small family-run business in Yorkshire in 1982. Over the years the company’s reputation for outstanding quality and service has led to many high-profile commissions, awards and the expansion of the business. Phillip Stoner now has multiple boutiques in the heart of Leeds City Centre as well as their own Jewellery Workshop.
In 2008 Phillip Stoner The Jeweller became the responsibility of Jonathan Stoner, who bought the company following his father’s retirement.

From a young age Jonathan was fully immersed in the family business, founded by his father, Phillip.
Guided by his parents, Jonathan was taught customer service skills, how to run a successful business and given the opportunity to train as an Apprentice Goldsmith. Spending 5 years on the bench gave him an extensive working knowledge of the technical aspects of creating and repairing jewellery.
At the age of 21 Jonathan became one the youngest Fellows of the Gemmological Association (F.G.A) in England, later becoming a qualified Gemmologist and Diamond Grader. Knowledge he still uses daily when sourcing Diamonds to ensure the company offers both exceptional quality and value for money.

Throughout his career, Jonathan has seen first-hand the value in exploring the many facets of the Jewellery Industry. As a result he continues to nurture his staff’s creativity and drive, encouraging them to learn, explore and be involved in many aspects of the business.

Phillip Stoner is also part of a scheme of sampling and testing by Assay Assured to ensure that jewellery exempt by weight from hallmarking is also of the claimed standard – a protection over and above legal requirements.
In addition, all products are accurately described stating their precious metal content and Assay Assured jewellery retailers agree not to carry counterfeit branded jewellery on their website.

Be 18 or older
Be in permanent paid employment, self-employed, a homemaker, retired and receiving a pension, a working student in part time work, or in receipt of disability benefit
Be a resident in the UK or Jersey for at least 3 years
Have a debit or credit card in their name, which is registered to their address, to pay the deposit where applicable
Have a Bank or Building Society current account available – this is required to complete the direct debit instruction
Have an email address to receive the important information throughout the application process, including their signed credit agreement

[H2] INFORMATION REQUIRED
During the loan application process you will be asked for your personal information such as:
Name
Address history
Date of birth
Contact details
Employment/income information
If you are accepted you will also need a credit or debit card registered in your name at the address on the credit application, so that the lender can carry out an electronic identity check.
[H2] PROCESSING TIME
With most applications we expect that you will be given an Accepted or Declined decision within 10-20 seconds.
In some cases the lender may return the decision as ‘Referred’. This usually means they require more information. You will receive an email or phone call with further instructions.
For in-store applications you can usually wait in the shop whilst the underwriters review your referred application.
Underwriting hours are 8am-8pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays), 9am-6pm Saturday and 10am-5pm Sunday. If your application is referred outside of these hours then you may have to wait until the next working day for the decision.
Once your application has been accepted by V12 Retail Finance you will be asked to eSign the credit agreement. Your agreement will then be live and your monthly repayments will commence for the duration of the agreed term.
[H2] DELIVERY
For finance orders made online, goods must be delivered to the address on your credit agreement (your home address). You will not be able to have the goods shipped to another address or collect in-store.
[H2] RETURNS & CANCELLATION PROCEDURE
If you wish to return the item then please refer to our Returns Policy. If we accept your return we will contact the lender to cancel the credit agreement. We may not able to cancel the credit agreement if the return falls outside of our returns period.
[H2] DECLINED CREDIT APPLICATIONS
You will be informed if the lender declines your application. The lender is unable to share the reason for decline with Phillip Stoner. Applications are usually declined for reasons such as:
Not meeting the eligibility criteria (see above)
Adverse credit reference agency information
Your credit score
You are considered to be overcommitted
Your existing account performance with other lenders
The lender will give you the contact details for the credit reference agency used. They will also give you information on how to appeal the decision if you wish to discuss the matter. Please note that the lender is unable to discuss this over the telephone due to Data Protection rules. You should also note that each lender applies its own credit score to applicants so if you have recently been accepted for credit elsewhere this does not necessarily mean that appealing the decision on this basis alone will result in a change of decision.
