« Together, we go further »
Matthieu Humair, CEO

[H2] Who we are ?

Created in September 2022 on the initiative of Rolex, Richemont and Patek Philippe, the Watches and Wonders Geneva Foundation (WWGF) is a non-profit foundation based in Geneva.
In 2024, three new comers, Chanel, Hermès and LVMH join the founding members of the WWGF Foundation Board.

WWGF is managed by a Foundation Board, with Cyrille Vigneron serving as Chairman and Claude Peny as Vice-Chairman. Along with the founding members, they define the major strategic areas of this ambitious project.
The Exhibiting Committee, made up of representatives from the participating Maisons takes all the decisions to ensure the exhibition runs smoothly.
Matthieu Humair, current CEO of the WWGF, heads up a team of nearly 30 people to bring this major project to fruition.

[H2] Our mission

Our mission is to promote watchmaking around the world through the organization of events, with Geneva as our flagship, and Shanghai. Watches and Wonders Geneva brings together the world's leading watchmakers, with 60 exhibiting brands in 2025, and 49,000 visitors attending the last edition in April 2024. A record number.

[H2] Our values

[H4] Excellence

By perfecting our service and improving each single day.

[H4] Collaboration

By working together in cultural diversity.

[H4] Passion

By delivering the best with emotion, attention and passion.

[H4] Adaptability

By demonstrating flexibility and welcoming creative minds to embrace change.

[H2] Celebrating Time

Our aim is to showcase the skills and craftsmanship of watchmaking, to capture the essence of time, and to offer our visitors an unforgettable experience at the Salon and In The City. We design a rich and immersive program, open to all lovers, enthusiasts and collectors of fine watchmaking.
Guest of honor for 2025: younger generation !

[H2] A team of experts

We are a team of 30 people, experts in the event’s field, all driven by passion and commitment.
Together, we create, innovate, build, and gather our skills to service our events.
We work hand in hand with our exhibiting brands and key partners to guarantee an unforgettable experience.

[H2] Geneva, the watchmaking destination

WWGF is located in the heart of Geneva facing the lake. It is an opportunity for the City and the Canton to host the largest watchmaking event ever held in Geneva, and to anchor its reputation as the world's watchmaking capital.

[H2] Where to find us ?

A central and iconic building of watchmaking Geneva, the Pont de la Machine reflects the city's early industrialization. The offices offer an outstanding view on the lake, and a showcase worthy of our ambitions to promote watchmaking beyond our borders.

Your Diagnosis

Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.

Information Density 0 / 30
Read the Narrative & headings: do hard facts (prices, dates, numbers) outweigh fluff power-words?
Semantic Coherence 0 / 20
Compare the homepage promise against the sub-page reality. Do they hold the same line?
Trust & Proof 0 / 20
Weigh review mentions against actual external proof links. Claims without verification = theatre.
Commodity Fingerprint 0 / 15
Check headings & narrative against the industry clichés in the setup above.
Identity & Authority 0 / 15
Inspect the schema: is there real Organization/Person identity with sameAs links, or gaps?
Your predicted BS score 0 / 100
💡 Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)

These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.

Information Density

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Semantic Alignment

Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.

Trust & Proof

Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.

Commodity Fingerprint

Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.

Identity & Authority

Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.

Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.

This is a high-substance, low-BS site where the brand names themselves perform the heavy lifting of credibility. While the technical SEO and structured data are surprisingly neglected for an organization of this stature, the density of named entities and specific historical facts creates a strong foundation of truth.

Deploy comprehensive Organization and Person schema (JSON-LD) to connect the WWGF and its leadership to external authority sources like LinkedIn or official industry registers. Transform the ‘Key numbers’ H1 into a data-rich section with links to audited attendance reports. Replace abstract H3 headers like ‘Discover the 2026 Novelties’ with more descriptive, noun-heavy titles to further reduce the fluff-to-substance ratio.

The website perfectly aligns with the Jewelry and High-End Luxury Goods category, functioning as the primary digital hub for the industry’s most prestigious global trade event. It serves a coalition of top-tier manufacturers, confirming its role as a central authority in watchmaking.

“The score of 27 is primarily driven by Identity and Authority gaps (Pillar 5) due to the complete lack of structured data and technical metadata best practices. Trust and Proof (Pillar 3) also contributed points because 'reviews' are cited in metadata without being externally verifiable in the body text.”
