Charging

Instead of running on fossil fuels, the automotive future will be powered by electricity – preferably from renewable energy sources. APCOA contributes to advancing e-mobility by investing in one of the largest electric charging networks in Europe. Within the next few years, we will bring up to 100,000 new EV charging stations to 13,000 APCOA parking facilities. Wherever possible, these will be powered by green energy.

Supporting sustainable transport

New Benchmark in Europe

Compatible Setup

Responsible growth

[H2] Supporting sustainable transport

Electric mobility makes the future of motor traffic more eco-friendly. Not only is it much quieter, but above all, it runs with zero CO2 emissions. It therefore comes as no surprise that more and more consumers are switching to electric vehicles. This situation along with increasing regulations requiring charging facilities in public car parks make the expansion of EV charging infrastructure a must for the industry.

At APCOA, we believe in electromobility and are convinced that the technology will continue to gain acceptance.

Parking and charging are merging: to charge your electric vehicle you need to park – dependent on the charging solution for hours.

Combined solutions are required: The demand for customised charging options will continue to increase in urban areas and consumers expect combined pricings and propositions.

[H2] A new benchmark in Europe

Consequently, we have decided to heavily invest in one of the largest EV charging networks in Europe: By the year 2035, we plan to deploy up to 100,000 new charging stations in APCOA parking facilities. To this end, we are bringing 11-50 kilowatt AC- and DC-EV charging points to our more than 13.000 sites, powered by green energy. In addition, we are partnering with automotive and HPC industry leaders to setup an additional 1,000 High Power Charging stations. In our Urban Hubs, we will also promote the charging of other electric-powered vehicles such as e-scooters, e-bikes or even e-cargo bikes.

Your Diagnosis

Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.

Information Density 0 / 30
Read the Narrative & headings: do hard facts (prices, dates, numbers) outweigh fluff power-words?
Semantic Coherence 0 / 20
Compare the homepage promise against the sub-page reality. Do they hold the same line?
Trust & Proof 0 / 20
Weigh review mentions against actual external proof links. Claims without verification = theatre.
Commodity Fingerprint 0 / 15
Check headings & narrative against the industry clichés in the setup above.
Identity & Authority 0 / 15
Inspect the schema: is there real Organization/Person identity with sameAs links, or gaps?
Your predicted BS score 0 / 100
💡 Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)

These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.

Information Density

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Semantic Alignment

Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.

Trust & Proof

Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.

Commodity Fingerprint

Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.

Identity & Authority

Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.

Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.

Logistics, Transport & Shipping BS: APCOA (apcoa.com)

https://apcoa.com 📍 Industry: Logistics, Transport & Shipping
49 BS / 100

APCOA presents as a legitimate infrastructure giant with a surprisingly thin digital proof layer. The site relies on its massive real-world footprint to mask significant technical SEO failures and unverified trust signals. It is a classic case of ‘Too Big to Bullshit,’ where the scale is real but the website fails to forensically prove it.

Immediately replace the placeholder ‘0’ statistics in the homepage text with verified, current operational numbers. Implement Organization and Service schema to provide a technical footprint for the ‘Europe’s No. 1’ claim. Add direct outbound links to verified third-party review platforms or published annual reports to substantiate the ranking. Fix the heading hierarchy by adding unique, keyword-rich H1 tags to the homepage and core business lines.

The site content confirms a high-level alignment with the Transport and Logistics sector, specifically focusing on car park management and sustainable urban mobility infrastructure. It moves beyond simple parking into ‘Urban Hubs’ and EV charging networks, which fits modern intermodal logistics trends.

“The BS score of 49 reflects a site that is factually grounded in real-world assets but technically poor in its digital substantiation. The high scores in Trust and Proof and Identity and Authority (totaling 27 points) indicate that the 'bullshit' is not necessarily lies, but rather a lack of forensic evidence and technical best practices. The score would drop significantly with the addition of verified proof links and a proper schema implementation.”
