For a 0.6mL dose, repeat the filling and dispensing steps. After use, remove the syringe plunger from barrel and clean with warm soapy water. Do not subject to high heat. To maintain maximum effectiveness, store Mylicon around room temperature (between 68° and 77° F). We don’t recommend using it if it is stored outside of those parameters. [H3] Any Advice on How To Keep It Out of Children’s Reach? Although the packaging is child-resistant, you can help keep it out of little hands’ way by storing it in a place they can’t reach. Some children can climb, such as on a toilet or counter, so a locked cabinet is the safest place to store any medicine. Try to remember to put it away after every use. Dispose of old medicine in a way your child can’t reach it—like by taking it to a medication drop off location such as your local pharmacy. Next: Have a child between the ages of 2 and 11? [H2] FAQ: Infants’ Mylicon Daily Probiotic Drops You may have heard about probiotics’ benefits for adults, as well as for children, but did you know they can help your baby in surprising ways too? It’s true! Trendy as they may sound, there’s science behind probiotics’ benefits. That’s why we’re answering all your questions about Infants’ Mylicon Daily Probiotic Drops, like what they do, how safe they are, and how you can incorporate our probiotics into your little one’s daily routine. Read on to find out all that and more. Use as directed. [H2] WHY USE INFANTS’ MYLICON DAILY PROBIOTICS? [H3] What Are Probiotics? Dietary supplements containing probiotics have become commonplace for adults, children, and, yes, even babies. But what exactly are they? First, let’s get down to the basics. Our bodies are home to more than 100 trillion bacteria, some of which are “friendly” bacteria, known as probiotics. Out of the more than 400 probiotic strains present in our bodies, only about 20 account for 75% of all of them. These little buggers help us digest and absorb nutrients, and support our immune systems, among other natural processes. Probiotics are a vital component of your baby’s digestive system; the same goes for the development of their immune system. These “good” bacteria are introduced to babies’ guts through breast milk, formula, and the eventual food they eat. Different types of probiotics often act in different ways, depending on the strain of probiotic used. (Think of the term “probiotics” as an umbrella, similar to saying “tomato.” It encompasses all kinds of tomatoes, but doesn’t in itself define whether it’s referring to a cherry, plum, or grape tomato.) In short, the World Health Organization (WHO) defines probiotics as: “live microorganisms which, when administered in adequate amounts, confer a health benefit on the host.” These bacteria aren’t just friendly, they’re downright helpful. [H3] How Do Probiotics Work? Fun fact: 80% of the immune system is located in the gut. Not only does your baby’s digestive system contribute to fighting off infection with a healthy immune system, it practically calls the shots! When taken daily, the strain of probiotic in Infants Mylicon Daily Probiotic Drops can help replenish “good” bacteria, which supports immunity, promotes healthy digestion, and even reduces crying and fussiness associated with colic.* [H3] What Do Probiotics Do? Probiotics benefit your baby in many ways, some which may surprise you. A clinical, peer-reviewed, published study has shown that daily use of our Infants’ Mylicon Daily Probiotic Drops supports immunity and promotes healthy digestion.* Another study showed that our probiotic drops can be effective at helping to manage colic.* Unlike babies who received a placebo, a greater percentage of colicky babies who were given our probiotic experienced a reduction in daily crying and fussiness over time. [H3] Can Probiotics Help Manage Colic? Yes! When used daily, Infants’ Mylicon Probiotic Drops have been clinically shown to reduce crying and fussiness associated with colic.* Check out the actual study here. So, you may want to give them a try to help pare back on the stressful colicky episodes you and your baby go through. [H3] Are Mylicon Probiotic Drops Safe? Probiotics are generally well-tolerated, including in infants. The Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. Lactis probiotic in our daily probiotic drops for babies has been used safely in food and dietary supplements since 1985, with no reported serious adverse events. However, it’s important to note that probiotics may not be for every infant. If your baby was born prematurely, takes any medication, or has immune problems, be sure to talk to your pediatrician about giving your baby probiotics. [H3] Do Mylicon Probiotics Have Side Effects? You may be wondering if there are any possible side effects associated with giving your baby probiotics. The Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. Lactis probiotic in our daily probiotics for babies is the most researched probiotic strain in the world. It’s been used safely in food and dietary supplements since 1985, with no reported serious adverse events. That said, if your baby was premature, takes any medication, or has immune problems, talk to your pediatrician before giving them probiotics. [H3] When Can My Baby Start Mylicon Probiotics? You can start your little one on our probiotics for babies from the time they’re born. They’re safe in both newborns and older infants. But, if your infant was born premature or has any immune problems, check with your pediatrician first. [H3] Should I Give My Baby Probiotics Every Day? As with any healthy habit, consistency is key. You’ll want to be sure to give them to your baby every day. Otherwise, they may not work as effectively. And, if you stop giving them entirely, the probiotics’ benefits may subside over time. You’ll also need to practice a bit of patience when you start probiotic usage; like any supplement, they need time to start working. [H3] How Is Mylicon Different From Other Probiotic Drops? Not all probiotic supplements contain the same strains. Our probiotic drops contain one of the most researched probiotic strains: Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. Lactis. This probiotic strain has an established history of safety and beneficial use. It’s been used safely in food and dietary supplements since 1985, with no reported serious adverse events. *This statement has not been evaluated by the FDA. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. [H2] PRODUCT INFORMATION [H3] What Ingredients Are In Mylicon Probiotic Drops? The active ingredient in our probiotics for babies is Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. Lactis, a probiotic that has been used safely in food and dietary supplements since 1985, with no reported serious adverse events. It’s one of the most researched probiotic strains in the world. Your Diagnosis
Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.
Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)
These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.
Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.
Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.
Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.
Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.
Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.
Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.
Based on 784 businesses audited.
Mylicon has 14.7 points less BS than the average for Medical Devices, Pharma & Biotech.
Medical Devices, Pharma & Biotech BS: Mylicon (mylicon.com)
Mylicon is a legitimate pharmaceutical brand that hides its technical substance behind a thick layer of maternal marketing fluff. While the product specs are forensically sound, the clinical claims are ‘trust-me’ assertions without the digital receipts required for modern medical transparency. It is a high-substance product packaged in a low-substance commodity template.
Add specific DOI links or ClinicalTrials.gov identifiers next to every mention of a clinical, peer-reviewed study in the FAQ. Implement MedicalWebPage and Organization schema to include sameAs links to regulatory filings and named medical advisors. Replace the generic #1 brand claim with a specific citation of the most recent pediatrician survey (e.g., IQVIA 2025). Provide a downloadable professional monograph for healthcare providers to separate marketing sentiment from clinical evidence.
