[H3] How to Get XOFLUZA

[IMG: Icon of a speech bubble labeled]

You have options for how to get your XOFLUZA prescription medication online or in-store.

Find XOFLUZA

One-dose XOFLUZA is a prescription medication designed to treat or prevent influenza (flu) in individuals aged 5 years and older within 2 days of symptoms or after exposure. Over-the-counter medicines just treat symptoms. Prescription XOFLUZA works differently, with only one dose to attack the flu virus at its source.
XOFLUZA is administered as a single-dose 40 or 80mg oral tablet. It is most effective when treatment begins as soon as possible, within 48 hours of flu symptom onset or exposure to the virus. The exact dosage is determined by your healthcare provider based on weight. Tell your healthcare provider about all medical conditions, before you receive a live flu vaccine, and about all of the medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, antacids, laxatives, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
The most common side effects of XOFLUZA include diarrhea, bronchitis, nausea, sinusitis, headache, and vomiting. Serious side effects may include allergic reactions, which may manifest as rash, difficulty breathing, or swelling of the face, throat, or mouth.
Patient’s out-of-pocket cost will vary by insurance, including their coverage, co-pay, deductible, and out-of-pocket max. XOFLUZA offers two ways to help patients afford treatment: (1) If a patient’s out-of-pocket cost is more than $35, the XOFLUZA Coupon can help. Eligible patients may pay as little as $35 for XOFLUZA (up to $70 off). (2) With the XOFLUZA $50 Cash Pay Option, eligible patients pay $50 if choosing to self-pay at select pharmacies. Terms & conditions apply.
XOFLUZA is available with a prescription in-store or online. The XOFLUZA product finder can help you identify pharmacy options that best meet your needs based on your zip code, including local pharmacies with likely availability, same-day, and mail delivery options.

Proven to help Prevent the spread of flu

[H1] The flu is serious. Take it seriously.

[IMG: Photo of a woman wrapped in a blanket and holding a thermometer]

The flu can hit you fast and leave you with debilitating symptoms that last for more than a week. And it’s not just you. The CDC estimates how many people get the flu each year, and that number has been as high as 82 million people in a single flu season.* It can also lead to serious complications.

[H2] Look out for 3 common flu symptoms:

You don’t have to have all of the symptoms above to have the flu. If you’re experiencing any symptoms, don’t wait for things to get worse—contact your doctor when they first appear.

[H2] Is it the flu or COVID-19?
It is difficult to tell the difference between COVID-19 and the flu because some of the symptoms can be similar.
If you have COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms, contact your doctor. If it is the flu, you may be able to treat it with prescription XOFLUZA. But keep in mind, XOFLUZA does not treat COVID-19.

[H2] Is it a cold or the flu?
It can also be tough to tell the difference between a cold and the flu. But one sign of the flu is the way its symptoms come on fast. Use the chart below to check your symptoms.
If you think you have the flu, talk to your doctor within the first 48 hours of flu symptoms and ask if prescription one-dose XOFLUZA is right for you.

[H2] Attack the flu virus at its source with XOFLUZA
In certain patients who are at risk for complications, the CDC recommends treating the flu with a prescription medication within the first 48 hours of experiencing symptoms.* People who are otherwise healthy or at high risk may also be treated early with prescription one-dose XOFLUZA.
Over-the-counter medicines just treat symptoms. Prescription XOFLUZA works differently, with only one dose to attack the flu virus at its source.

Your Diagnosis

Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.

Information Density 0 / 30
Read the Narrative & headings: do hard facts (prices, dates, numbers) outweigh fluff power-words?
Semantic Coherence 0 / 20
Compare the homepage promise against the sub-page reality. Do they hold the same line?
Trust & Proof 0 / 20
Weigh review mentions against actual external proof links. Claims without verification = theatre.
Commodity Fingerprint 0 / 15
Check headings & narrative against the industry clichés in the setup above.
Identity & Authority 0 / 15
Inspect the schema: is there real Organization/Person identity with sameAs links, or gaps?
Your predicted BS score 0 / 100
💡 Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)

These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.

Information Density

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Semantic Alignment

Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.

Trust & Proof

Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.

Commodity Fingerprint

Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.

Identity & Authority

Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.

Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.

Medical Devices, Pharma & Biotech BS: XOFLUZA (Genentech) (xofluza.com)

https://xofluza.com 📍 Industry: Medical Devices, Pharma & Biotech
13 BS / 100

This is a high-substance, low-fluff pharmaceutical asset. It prioritizes regulatory compliance and clinical metrics over marketing hyperbole, resulting in one of the lowest BS scores possible for a commercial product site.

To further reduce the BS score, Genentech should include direct citations or outbound links to the specific peer-reviewed journal articles or ClinicalTrials.gov identifiers (NCT numbers) for the quoted 2.3-day efficacy stat. Reduce the repetition of the ’48-hour’ mantra in every H2 to allow for more nuanced technical descriptions of the mechanism of action. Finally, add sameAs links to the Genentech schema to connect the brand to official regulatory and scientific databases.

The site is a textbook example of a pharmaceutical product landing page. The content is heavily regulated, focusing on indications, safety information, and clinical efficacy data typical of the Pharma & Biotech sector.

“The score of 13 is driven almost entirely by concept repetition and the use of a standard industry template. The lack of semantic drift and high proof density prevent the score from entering the Moderate or High BS ranges.”
