Yes! Stikins® are made with a unique waterproof adhesive that is designed to hold your stickers firmly in place - even after multiple trips through the washing machine and tumble-dryer. There's absolutely no sewing or ironing required.When using your name labels for clothing, Stikins® should be applied onto the wash-care label. In shoes, they should be applied onto the side wall or beneath the tongue. We've been despatching name labels same day, every day for the last 8 years. Orders placed by 3pm are despatched same day (Mon-Fri); those placed after 3pm or over the weekend despatch next working day. Stikins® are sent by Royal Mail's first class service as standard (and delivery is free!). [H2] The History of Stikins ® Name Labels

Stikins ® name labels are sold by Label Planet, a family owned business established in 2003 and based in Nantwich, Cheshire.
In 2003, we had four children at school and found that the name labels we could get for them were not exactly what we wanted. Existing products tended to be expensive, time consuming, and weren’t as long-lasting or hard-wearing as we would have liked.
We were also looking to start a business of our own. I had spent more than 20 years working for Markem Systems and Zebra Technologies, solving labelling problems for companies and supplying labels and labelling equipment.
So, we decided to create our own name labels. Even with the contacts I had in label material manufacturers, it took six months of extensive research and testing to develop the original version of Stikins ® labels.
Named for their ability to simply “stick in and stay in”, Stikins ® name labels launched in 2004.
Since then we have introduced improved versions of our name labels and other name labelling products. We now supply name labels to thousands of families across the country and continue to develop and improve our services and products year after year.

Stick on name labels are quick and easy to apply, so busy families can label belongings safely and securely in minutes and then get on with the more important things in life.
We want our name labels to live up to their promise to simply stick on and stay on. However, as materials, washing machines, and cleaning products get more advanced, it gets harder to make sure stick on name labels won’t wash away. This is why we continue to research and develop new materials and manufacturing methods – so our name labels will always be the best that they can be.
Each year, we gather customer feedback and review our existing products. We research new materials and technologies and test new samples to ensure they live up to the Stikins ® labels brand.
Samples are independently tested in laboratory conditions using an internationally recognised standard – the BS EN ISO6330 wash test procedure for 60 washes at 40 degrees. Once we’re happy with a new version, we introduce it to our toughest critics – our customers.
Using this cycle of research and development, we’ve introduced a variety of new and improved stick on name label products:

2010: “New” Stikins ® Name LabelsThese multipurpose name labels replaced our “original” name labels (a combination of “H”-shaped clothing labels, shoes labels, micro labels, and silver labels).
2013: Sun Cream Resistant Stikins ® LabelsSome market-leading children’s sun cream products contain aggressive ingredients that damage personalised name labels so we sourced a brand new printing ribbon.
2015: Silver Name LabelsA colourful alternative; we introduced these silver stick on labels for use on personal items.

When using our name labels as clothes labels, we recommend applying them onto the wash-care label and not directly onto clothing. This is because wash-care labels use a specific kind of material, while clothing can be made using thousands of different material blends.All of our tests were conducted using Stikins ® labels applied onto wash-care labels, which means we can guarantee that you can use our name labels as clothing labels if you apply them onto wash-care labels.We cannot test all of the different material blends, which means we cannot offer the same guarantee if you apply your labels directly onto the fabric of clothing. Stikins ® labels do bond well with some materials – we simply cannot guarantee that they will do so for all material blends – and this is why we recommend applying your name labels onto the wash-care label only.

We (and our customers) think so! Sewing in name tapes has been a long standing tradition for parents (and grandparents) but there is no denying that it takes AGES – and that’s if you know your way around a needle and thread. For many, the prospect of having to sew in labels is an absolute nightmare to be avoided at all costs. The Stikins ® school fundraising scheme has distributed thousands of pounds amongst participating schools every year since 2004. While the details of our fundraising scheme have been fine-tuned over the years, its core principles have remained constant. We want to give schools and PTAs the opportunity to raise money while helping parents to safely and securely label their children’s belongings. In return, we want to grow our brand (Stikins ® name labels) and supply name labels to as many parents as possible.To support the efforts of our school fundraisers we pay out the highest name label commission rate in the UK (30%). We supply leaflets, vouchers, and posters free of charge. During the summer term, we also offer 5 free personalised name labels for each new child starting at the school each year. Live these name labels! This must have been our 5th or 6th order. Ive tried most other naming options and this one has worked so well for us, Ive had both nursery staff and teschers comment on how the labels make things easy for them too.
The labels are easy to use making sure everything is named within seconds. The labels stay where they are put on clothes and lunch boxes/water bottles, and they stay there no matter how many trips through the washing machine or dishwasher.

Our orders are despatched in C5 or C4 envelopes, which can be safely delivered through a standard letter box.If your order is worth £70+, a signature is required upon delivery. If no one is available to sign, your order will be taken to your local collection office and a "Something For You" card should be left for your attention.If you might not be available to sign for your order, you can nominate a different delivery address as you checkout.Your order will arrive with a VAT receipt and information leaflet.
