Agent Behavior Analytics gives your security operations team centralized visibility into AI agents and automated workflows. New-Scale Analytics collects and correlates activity from non-human entities so analysts can investigate suspicious behavior quickly.
ABA applies behavioral analytics to establish normal agent activity and surface anomalies linked to misuse, compromise, or policy violations. You get real-time detections and investigation timelines to analyze incidents efficiently.

[H3] Can I see and edit the ABA detection rules?

Yes. All ABA detections are prebuilt and available in the Threat Detection Management app. You can review, tune, and customize rules to match your environment and requirements. We recommend cloning a rule before editing so you can safely adjust logic without affecting the original detection. You can learn more about editing Exabeam UEBA detection rules here.

When the founders started brainstorming company name ideas, big data was a source of inspiration.
The product would process a lot of data — many, many gigabytes. “Giga” and “tera” already saturated the tech landscape, so they went bigger — literally — thinking one billion gigabytes, or an exabyte. But the product also acted like a beam of light, shining down on interesting patterns contained in huge volumes of log data. The name recipe was there, and the rest is history.

Throughout his career, Matt has consistently demonstrated the ability to work collaboratively as a trusted adviser, to solve problems at scale, develop workforce strategies, and design and implement people programs which drive business results. Prior to joining LogRhythm, Matt worked at two Thoma Bravo companies, most notably he spent nearly 22 years at Compuware as the Vice President of Human Resources and Operations.
Matt is a graduate of Wayne State University and based out of Michigan. In his spare time, Matt enjoys boating, outdoor activities at the lake, cooking, and spending time with his wife and their three young adult children.

David Kennedy is Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Exabeam, where he is responsible for the technology strategy behind the company’s AI-driven security operations platform. David oversees platform innovation across cloud-native and self-hosted deployments, including Exabeam Agent Behavior Analytics, the industry’s first approach to extending insider threat detection to non-human identities.
Prior to his role as Exabeam Chief Technology Officer, David served as VP of Engineering and Corporate Architect at Exabeam and held Principal Architect and engineering leadership positions at LogRhythm. He began his career in application performance and observability at Dynatrace and held solutions architecture roles at Compuware and BMC. With expertise through every layer of the stack from observability to enterprise security, David’s technical depth and operational perspective uniquely shape how Exabeam builds, delivers, and scales its platform. David holds a degree in Supply Chain Management from Western Michigan University’s Haworth College of Business.
