[H1] About Tizen is an open and flexible operating system built from the ground up to address the needs of all stakeholders of the mobile and connected device ecosystem, including device manufacturers, mobile operators, application developers and independent software vendors (ISVs). Tizen is developed by a community of developers, under open source governance, and is open to all members who wish to participate. Tizen operating system comes in multiple profiles to serve different industry requirements. The current Tizen profiles are Tizen IVI (in-vehicle infotainment), Tizen Mobile, Tizen TV, and Tizen Wearable. In addition to that, as of Tizen 3.0, all profiles are built on top of a common, shared infrastructure called Tizen Common. With Tizen, a device manufacturer can begin with one of these profiles and modify it to serve their own needs, or use Tizen Common base to develop a new profile to meet the memory, processing and power requirements of any device and quickly bring it to market. Mobile operators can work with device partners to customize the operating system and user experience to meet the needs of specific customer segments or demographics. For application developers and ISVs, Tizen offers the power of native application development with the flexibility of unparalleled HTML5 support. Tizen also offers the potential for application developers to extend their reach to new “smart devices” running Tizen, including wearables, consumer electronics (TVs, gaming consoles, DVRs, etc.), cars and appliances. Tizen project resides within the Linux Foundation and is governed by a Technical Steering Group. The Technical Steering Group is the primary decision-making body for the open source project, with a focus on platform development and delivery, along with the formation of working groups to support device verticals. Tizen Association has been formed to guide the industry role of Tizen, including gathering of requirements, identification and facilitation of service models, and overall industry marketing and education. Your Diagnosis
Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.
Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)
These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.
Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.
Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.
Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.
Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.
Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.
Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.
Based on 1130 businesses audited.
Tizen (MeeGo) has 7.2 points less BS than the average for Software, SaaS & Tech Products.
Software, SaaS & Tech Products BS: Tizen (MeeGo) (meego.com)
A high-substance technical hub that prioritizes utility over marketing performance. It is a developer-centric portal that backs its [Connect Everything] signal with forensic evidence of SDKs, source code, and multi-profile documentation. It is largely free of the semantic drift found in typical tech marketing.
1. Implement Organization and SoftwareSourceCode schema to resolve technical identity gaps. 2. Update the [About] page to reflect version 6.x architecture and remove stale version 3.0 references. 3. Correct the heading hierarchy to ensure navigation labels like [User Menu] and [Languages] are not tagged as H2. 4. Link the [Technical Steering Group] to verifiable bios to improve expert authority.
The site is an exact match for the Software & Tech category, specifically functioning as an open-source OS developer portal. Content focus on SDKs, APIs, and specific hardware architectures (RISC-V) confirms its technical purpose and substance.
“The score of 26 reflects very low bullshit, driven by high information density and verified proof paths. Points were only lost for technical implementation gaps (missing schema) and stale temporal evidence in the secondary content. The site is a benchmark for low-BS technical communication.”
