Thunderbolt Expansion Systems
These systems can be used on desktops or installed in equipment racks, allowing users with computers that have no expansion card slots—such as portable, mini, and all-in-one models—to connect specialized PCIe video and audio I/O cards, as well as access high-speed shared storage and networks.
Thunderbolt Docks
Thunderbolt docking stations provide notebook and desktop users with a convenient hub for connecting peripherals, streamlining the process of linking devices without the need to plug them directly into their computers—especially useful for notebooks that typically have limited ports. With just one Thunderbolt cable, users can connect multiple devices at once. Furthermore, these docks can charge compatible laptops with up to 90 watts of power through the same cable. Depending on the specific computer model, a Sonnet dock can support multiple monitors.
Dual Display Adapters
Dual DisplayPort and Dual HDMI display adapters enable multi-display support on Mac, Windows, and Linux computers.
Mac Expansion Systems
Integrated rackmount enclosure systems for Mac Studio and Mac mini computers, enabling users to create multi-slot PCIe card expansion systems.
Networking Solutions
Bus-powered single-port and self-powered dual-port adapters add blazing-fast 25Gb and 10Gb Ethernet network connectivity to users’ computers, offering copper (RJ45) or fiber optical connections to infrastructure.
eGPU Enclosures
Sonnet's eGPU systems enhance a computer's graphics capabilities by connecting a high-performance desktop or workstation GPU through a Thunderbolt connection. This setup bypasses the onboard GPU, enabling graphics performance that would otherwise be unattainable.
PCIe Cards
Sonnet provides a wide range of PCIe computer cards, including M.2, SATA, and U.2 SSD storage options; single and dual-port 25Gb and 0Gb Ethernet adapter cards; multi-port USB adapters; and various storage interface adapters. Designed to enhance the capabilities and performance of desktop and server systems, Sonnet’s cards can be used with Thunderbolt Expansion Systems, ensuring both modern and legacy connectivity options.
Pro Media Card Readers
Sonnet’s professional card readers are designed to support CFast 2.0, CFexpress Type B, P2, RED MINI-MAG, SxS, and XQD media, enhancing the speed of footage and file ingestion in both Mac and Windows digital workflows. With high-performance Thunderbolt interfaces and durable aluminum enclosures, these card readers facilitate data transfer at the maximum speeds rated for the cards.
