Industry Context — Common BS Fingerprints in Architecture, Interior Design & Home Improvement
Generic Claims: bringing your vision to life, creating dream spaces, award-winning designs, exceeding expectations…
Red Flags: portfolio with no project names or locations, no professional registrations listed, stock interior photography, claims every design style without specialization evidence…
Semantic Drift Patterns: homepage shows luxury residential but services include budget renovations, portfolio shows one style but claims versatility across all aesthetics, homepage claims bespoke but process page describes standardized packages, claims architectural services but team has no registered architects…
Proof Expectations: named project portfolio with before/after images, professional registration numbers (RIBA, AIA, ARB), client testimonials linked to specific completed projects, planning permission and building regulation references…

I cannot recommend her highly enough. I am constantly comforted by her advice and she has certainly out produced her fee on several occasions. You will be in good hands!"

ALL Design is a multidisciplinary design firm with broad experience in the architectural field and a flexible approach to design.

[H2] AMANDA LEIGH LINHART
PRINCIPAL

[H2] Amanda founded ALL Design Architecture in 2009 after a focused and dedicated journey studying and working in many different cities and places.
Born in Massachusetts and raised in Virginia, Amanda aspired to study and practice architecture since she was a young child. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Princeton University in 1997 and her Master of Architecture from Harvard University in 2001. Prior to starting her own firm, Amanda spent her early career working in the cities of Boston, Denver and New York City. Most notably, Amanda worked for 4 years in the atelier of the renown architect, Daniel Libeskind, where she was Senior Designer on prominent projects such as the Denver Art Museum, The Ascent Residential building in Covington, Kentucky, and the Fiera Milano Residential buildings in Milan, Italy. Following that, Amanda worked in New York City for Robert D Henry Architects – a firm known widely for their innovative interiors in the hospitality industry. With RDH Architects, Amanda was Senior Designer and project manager on projects such as SHO Shaun Hergatt Restaurant in NYC, The Setai Hotel and Condo in NYC, and The Cosmopolitan Spa in Las Vegas, NV. Amanda’s unusually wide professional experience - designing projects highly disparate in type and working at dramatically different scales - has helped her develop outstanding flexibility as a designer and has given her the ability to confidently take on virtually any type of architectural project.

Your Diagnosis

Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.

Information Density 0 / 30
Read the Narrative & headings: do hard facts (prices, dates, numbers) outweigh fluff power-words?
Semantic Coherence 0 / 20
Compare the homepage promise against the sub-page reality. Do they hold the same line?
Trust & Proof 0 / 20
Weigh review mentions against actual external proof links. Claims without verification = theatre.
Commodity Fingerprint 0 / 15
Check headings & narrative against the industry clichés in the setup above.
Identity & Authority 0 / 15
Inspect the schema: is there real Organization/Person identity with sameAs links, or gaps?
Your predicted BS score 0 / 100
💡 Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)

These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.

Information Density

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Semantic Alignment

Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.

Trust & Proof

Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.

Commodity Fingerprint

Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.

Identity & Authority

Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.

Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.

Architecture, Interior Design & Home Improvement BS: ALL Design (alldesign.com)

https://alldesign.com 📍 Industry: Architecture, Interior Design & Home Improvement
40 BS / 100

ALL Design is a firm with high-substance principals hiding behind a low-substance SquareSpace template. The elite credentials of the leadership are legitimate, but the portfolio’s ‘adjective-only’ naming convention and unlinked testimonials create a significant veneer of brochure-ware BS. The site functions more as a gallery of aesthetics than a forensic record of architectural achievement.

Immediately replace the 22 adjective-based project headings (e.g., ‘wood + stone’) with ‘Client Name/Town – Project Type’ to prove local impact and reality of work. Correct the conflicting meta-description on the About page that mentions Hong Kong to match the Massachusetts-born text in the biography. Implement Person schema for both principals with sameAs links to their official licensing records in New York and Virginia. Link the existing testimonials to third-party verification sources or individual project pages to eliminate the Trust Theatre flag.

The content strongly supports the classification of Architecture, Interior Design, and Landscape design, specifically targeting the high-end residential market in Westchester County. The detailed architectural biographies and specific service pillars (Architecture, Landscape, Lifestyle) align well with the stated industry focus.

“The score of 40 reflects a firm with high internal substance but poor external proof. The score is driven primarily by the 'Trust Theatre' pillar (unlinked reviews) and the 'Information Density' pillar (adjective-only portfolio headings). The high-quality credentials in the About section prevented a much higher BS score, anchoring the site in the 'Low BS' category despite technical and structural flaws.”
