Erica Synths

Erica Synths was founded in 2014 by Ģirts Ozoliņš, a former science and mathematics teacher who spent two decades working in the advertising industry. From 2005 to 2015, he managed one of the largest advertising agencies in Latvia. Erica Synths began as a bedroom DIY operation focused on analog synthesizer kits. Ozoliņš launched the first kit - a Polivoks style filter clone - on the Muffwiggler forum around 2012, which drew attention within the online synthesizer community. This early project led to the formal establishment of the company.
