Industry Context — Common BS Fingerprints in Automotive Dealerships & Sales
Generic Claims: best deals in town, lowest prices guaranteed, unbeatable value, number one dealer…
Red Flags: no FCA registration for finance advertising, stock photos instead of real vehicle images, no physical address or virtual dealership only, prices hidden or available on request only…
Semantic Drift Patterns: homepage claims premium but inventory is budget vehicles, claims specialist but stocks every make and model, homepage shows luxury brand imagery but sells economy cars, claims transparent pricing but no prices visible on listings…
Proof Expectations: FCA registration number for finance offerings, physical dealership address with photos, current vehicle inventory with real images and pricing, third-party review platform presence (AutoTrader, Google)…

[H1] UK Motorcycle Licence FAQ
[H1] How old do I have to be to ride a motorcycle?
You can ride a 50cc moped from the age of 16 or from the age of 17, you can ride a 125cc motorcycle. However, Harley-Davidson does not have any motorcycles in these categories.
[H1] At what age can I get my full motorcycle licence?
The minimum age that you can achieve your full A-category licence is 21, but you will need to have passed the A2 test at age 19 and have been riding for two years from the date of passing your A2 test.
[H2] What is an A2 motorcycle licence?
The A2 licence is part of the ‘Progressive Access’ route to getting a full motorcycle licence. To get an A2 licence, you must be aged 19 or over and have an in-date CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) certificate. To gain your licence you need to pass a theory test and a two-module practical test, which can only be taken on a 395+cc motorcycle with a power output of between 20 kW (27 bhp) and 35 kW (47 bhp). The Theory Test is a two-part Q&A test. Part 1 has 50 multiple-choice questions within 57 minutes, while part 2 is a hazard perception test, where you watch a video and correctly identify potential safety hazards. The Practical Test is also two parts. Mod 1 involves an on-site evaluation of your riding skills, such as completing a controlled U-turn, emergency stop and more, followed by a 40 minute on-road riding test and Q&A session on motorcycle safety for Mod 2.With a full A2 licence, you can ride for two years before taking the A-category practical test at age 21 to get a full motorcycle licence or wait until you are 24.
[H1] What motorcycles can I ride on an A2 licence?
You can ride an A2-category motorcycle that produces no more than 35 kW or 47 bhp. You can also ride some larger capacity motorcycles with a restrictor kit, which reduces the power-to-weight ratio. The Harley-Davidson Nightster can be made to be A2-compliant with a digital restrictor kit. When you’re ready to graduate to your full licence, just head to your local H-D™ dealer and they’ll remove the restrictor for you.
[H1] How long does it take to get an A2 licence?
If you’re 19 or older and already have a CBT certificate and A2-compliant motorcycle, you could get your licence in a matter of weeks, depending on test centre booking times. But, not everybody is ready to take the A2 licence tests straight away and you should take as long as you need to ensure you’re ready. Riding confidently comes with experience. This can be achieved with additional learner rider training and supervised time on the road.
[H1] How much does a motorcycle licence cost?
The cost of an A2 test is currently £113.50 – this cost is made up of the separate elements needed to achieve the A2 licence; £23 for the Theory Test, £15.50 for Mod 1 and £75 for Mod 2. Any rider training support that is needed will incur additional costs on top of the tests.
[H1] Will taking a motorcycle training course help me get a full licence?
Motorcycle training at any level of your riding experience is a good thing. Training quickly identifies any possible areas of your riding that need to be improved, primarily for your own safety.
[H1] Can I learn to ride on the open road?
You’re free to ride on the open road once you’ve completed your CBT, but it is strongly recommended that you learn the Highway Code for road safety reasons.
[H1] Will I enjoy riding a motorcycle?
If you enjoy the freedom of going wherever you want, whenever you want, you’ll enjoy riding a motorcycle. Plus, riding a Harley® gives you access to a huge community of people who love riding.

Your Diagnosis

Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.

Information Density 0 / 30
Read the Narrative & headings: do hard facts (prices, dates, numbers) outweigh fluff power-words?
Semantic Coherence 0 / 20
Compare the homepage promise against the sub-page reality. Do they hold the same line?
Trust & Proof 0 / 20
Weigh review mentions against actual external proof links. Claims without verification = theatre.
Commodity Fingerprint 0 / 15
Check headings & narrative against the industry clichés in the setup above.
Identity & Authority 0 / 15
Inspect the schema: is there real Organization/Person identity with sameAs links, or gaps?
Your predicted BS score 0 / 100
💡 Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)

These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.

Information Density

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Semantic Alignment

Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.

Trust & Proof

Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.

Commodity Fingerprint

Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.

Identity & Authority

Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.

Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.

Integrate third-party review platform badges (e.g., Trustpilot) with direct proof links to reduce the Trust and Proof penalty. Link the digital restrictor kit mentioned in the A2 section directly to its product page for immediate technical verification. Add physical dealership photos to the ‘Find a Dealer’ landing pages to ground the digital experience in physical reality.

The site perfectly matches the Automotive Dealership & Sales category, focusing on vehicle inventory, financing, and after-sales support. The content confirms the classification through detailed motorcycle specifications, localized financing offers, and a clear path to physical dealership locations.

“The low score is driven by high specificity in the information density pillar and zero drift in semantic coherence. Minor penalties were applied for template navigation fingerprints and the absence of external third-party review verification links.”
