[H1] Permanent Hair Removal

[H4] How does it work?
The visible light source used in this procedure is attracted to melanin, which is found in hair. Because there is more melanin found in darker hair the darker the hair is, the more effective the treatment.
During the treatment the light that comes through the hand piece will be attracted to the pigment (the colour) in your hair. This will cause a heat reaction in the hair and the heat will travel down to the base of the hair. By damaging the base this will inhibit the hairs ability to grow.
In order to understand how to get the maximum benefits from the Ellipse treatment you need to understand how hair grows. There are 3 stages of hair growth: Anagen; the growing stage, Catagen; the transition stage and Telogen; the resting stage. At any point in time your hair is one of these 3 stages. We need to treat every hair follicle while it is in the anagen stage because that is when the hair is attached to its base and blood supply, and is most likely to be destroyed. Not all the hair is in the anagen stage when you come in for your treatments so we would recommend anything from 3-6 treatments for the best results, with 4-8 week intervals between treatments.
When we treat the area first we will mark the area to be treated with a red pen to determine where we will be working. Then we will shave the area prior to the treatment. We need the hairs to be as short as possible so that light reaches the hair underneath the skin and is not wasted on the surface of the skin. This will make the treatment more effective and comfortable. A gel will then be applied to the skin to help aid the treatment and to help protect the skin during the treatment procedure.

Next we will enter your details into the system and the Ellipse will give us an energy setting that is suitable for you. We then go on to treat over your skin with a hand piece and with each shot we will assess how you feel. It is important that you feel some sensation during the treatment however you must not feel too uncomfortable.
After the treatment you will leave with hair in the follicles however the hair will fall out within a 1-3 week period after the treatment. To encourage the hairs to shed you can either shave or exfoliate the skin. You will return for your future treatments every 4-8 weeks or as and when the hair returns.
The results you will achieve from the Ellipse treatments are as follows:
The hair will become reduced in number
The hair will become finer in texture
The hair will become less pigmented
Overall the hair will grow back less visible in the treatment area
[H4] How many procedure is recommended?
As stated earlier 3-6 treatments every 4 weeks are recommended for the best results.
[H4] Pre – Treatment care
It is important that before receiving the Ellipse IPL treatment you follow the recommended guidelines on the area to be treated 30 days before treatment:
Do not use sun-beds & Do not sun bathe
Do not use self tanning creams
Do not wax, thread or tweeze hair from the treatment area
Do not have electrolysis on the area
Do not use depilatory creams & do not bleach hair on the treatment area
Do not shave immediately prior to treatment
[H4]

[H4] Post – Treatment care
After the Ellipse IPL treatment it is common for the area to feel slightly warm. It is also common to experience some redness, local swelling and mild tenderness. These symptoms may appear immediately or a few days after treatment. The use of 100 % Aloe Vera gel is recommended directly after treatment and for a few days if necessary.

[H1] Skin Rejuvenation & Pigment Removal

[H4] How does Ellipse light work for Skin rejuvenation?
With the Skin rejuvenation treatment the light is absorbed by the melanin and the superficial blood vessels in the skin and the ensuing heat reaction destroys the melanin in the keratinocytes, coagulates blood vessels and stimulates collagen production.
[H4] What skin conditions can be treated?
Skin rejuvenation is the treatment of sun damaged skins. The treatment can be used for diffuse redness (high colour) and pigmented lesions such as hyper pigmentation, solar lentigines (sun spots) and freckles.
[H4] The treatment procedure is as follows.
First we will assess the area that we will work on and clean it thoroughly. It might be necessary to shave the area to be treated (only if hair is present). A thick layer of coupling gel will then be applied to the skin to help aid the treatment and to help protect the skin during the treatment procedure.

[H4] Does it hurt?
Next we will enter your details into the system and the Ellipse will give us an energy setting that is suitable for you. We then select the correct hand piece to treat the area and with each shot we will assess the area and make some adjustments. It is important that you feel some sensation during the treatment however you must not feel too uncomfortable.
[H4] How look after the treatment?
A slight erythema is seen immediately after the treatment and this will disappear in 1-2 hours in some cases 1-2 days. The areas of pigmentation will turn darker. The pigmentation will become darker almost a grey/black colour and the skin will take on a “dirty look” as the skin sloughs off in 7-10 days.
A cold compress can be applied at the conclusion of the treatment and an application of Aloe Vera Gel is necessary. It is advisable to use a 100 % Aloe Vera gel for the next few days to reduce any continuing redness.
[H4] How many treatments are needed for the best results?
On average 1 – 3 treatments at 4 week intervals are needed for the best results. Top up treatments may be needed in the future to maintain these results. For the optimum collagen stimulation effect with skin rejuvenation 6 treatments at 4 week intervals would be recommended.

SUB-PAGE (http://laserofbeauty.co.uk/facial-thread-veins/) Facial thread veins – Beauty treatments salon – Laser of beauty
[H1] Facial thread veins

With the thread vein treatment the light is attracted to the target chromophore oxy-haemoglobin in the blood. As the light is absorbed by the blood in the vessels a heat reaction is caused which coagulates the blood and destroys protein in the wall of the vessel. The vessel then breaks down and the debris is removed by the body’s natural waste disposal system
[H4] Which type of client can be treated?
We can only treat clients of skin types 1-3. It is important that the client avoids sun exposure 30-60 days prior to treatment. Sun exposure can increase the risk of pain or burns from excessive light absorption un the epidermis. If the client has a sun tan it may be better to wait until the colour reduces to achieve the best results. The Ellipse has pre programmed treatment suggestions for different skin types.
[H4] How does treatment work?
The treatment procedure is as follows.
First we will assess the area that we will work on and clean it thoroughly. It might be necessary to shave the area to be treated (only if hair is present). An even layer of coupling gel will then be applied to the skin to help aid the treatment and to help protect the skin during the treatment procedure.

Next we will enter your details into the system and the Ellipse will give us an energy setting that is suitable for you. We then select the correct hand piece to treat the area and with each shot we will assess the area and make some adjustments. You will feel a strong, hot sensation during the treatment however you will not feel too uncomfortable.
[H4] What post treatment reactions can be seen after treatment?
The vessels will change colour immediately after the treatment and erythema will also be present and may disappear in 1-2 hours in some cases 1-2 days. This will be followed by a variable degree of oedema. The swelling will increase the following day and may appear puffy particularly around the eyes, this should reduce after 4 days. If there are any areas of pigmentation they may turn darker. A cold compress can be applied at the conclusion of the treatment and an application of Aloe Vera Gel is necessary. It is advisable to use a 100 % Aloe Vera gel for the next few days to reduce any continuing redness.
[H4] How many treatments are necessary to remove facial thread veins?
On average 2-4 with 4 week intervals are needed for the best results. Top up treatments may be needed in the future to maintain these results.
[H4] Does it hurt?
Tolerance of pain is very individual from person to person. No anaesthetics are required, and most people describe the sensation as similar to that of a rubber band snapping onto the skin, followed by a warm sensation lasting several minutes. You may find it comforting to cool the skin after the treatment.

SUB-PAGE (http://laserofbeauty.co.uk/acne-treatments/) ACNE treatments – Beauty treatments salon – Laser of beauty
[H1] ACNE treatments

Acne results from a change in the way in which is laid down in the hair follicle, with the keratin becoming denser, and blocking the secretion of sebum. This hyper-keratinisation produces a sterile inflammatory response and a resultant plugging of the follicle causing a whitehead(close comedone)
Acne is also caused by the body’s increased production of the hormone androgen (produced by both men and women) which stimulates the sebaceous glands to produce more oil. The increased production of oil causes the pores to become blocked so that the oil cannot come up to the skin’s surface.
Factors that can aggravete acne:
A humid environment with oil, chemicals or dirt
Stress; emotional or physical
Scratching or squeezing the infected area
A woman going through a monthly period
Certain types of medication
Hormonal conditions/imbalances

[H4] How does the Ellipse treatment work?
Ellipse acne treatment is aimed specifically at the treatment of superficial inflammatory acne.
The acne treatment works in 2 ways:
The light targets the porphyrins produced by the bacteria that cause the acne, destruction of these porphyrins will produce free oxygen radicals and a bactericidal effect is induced to reduce the acne infection. The light is also absorbed by the haemoglobin in the superficial blood vessels that supply the sebaceous glands and destruction of these will slow down the over production of oil that leads to acne.
The heat reaction produced will also stimulate collagen production to increase healing of the acne lesions and may even soften the appearance of scarring.
[H4] Does it hurt?
Tolerance of pain is very individual from person to person. Many patients describe the sensation as a warming sensation similar to the feeling one has after a day on the beach.
[H4] Do I need take special precautions before and after treatment?
The acne treatment is a combination therapy. We recommended you use ADAPLENE cream or gel. Because the bacteria is difficult to eradicate completely, your doctor will probably recommend that you continue using adaplene cream or gel some months after the treatment has ended. Sun exposure should be avoided 30-60 days before and after treatment.
[H4] How many treatment recommended?
a course of 4 treatments is recommended with 2-3 week intervals.

SUB-PAGE (http://laserofbeauty.co.uk/vascular-lesions/) Port Wine Stains & Cherry Angioma – Beauty treatments salon – Laser of beauty
[H1] Port Wine Stains & Cherry Angioma

[H4] Are you embarrassed by red vessels?
Port Wine Stains & Cherry Angioma are the result of numerous or large vessels that form directly underneath your skin. These lesions occur in many sizes, shapes and can be found all over the body. They occur in a variety of forms including port wine stains, broken capillaries, diffuse redness, emangiomas and cherry angiomas. You no longer have to accept them as a price for growing older or as an accident of birth.
[H4] How does Ellipse treatment work?
Short, safe bursts of light are directed at the skin. These may be visible Intense Pulsed Light (called I2PL technology by Ellipse) or from a laser, depending on the condition you want treated. The system filters the light to ensure the wavelengths used are absorbed by haemoglobin in the blood in your problem vessels. The light is converted to heat, which destroys the protein in the wall of the vessels, causing the vessels to gradually disappear after treatment. To ensure the best light transmission, a thin layer of gel (like that used in ultrasound examinations) is applied to your skin before treatment.
[H4] Which vessels can be treated?
Many different problems can be treated. Treatments are most efficient in patients with light skin who are not suntanned at the time of the treatment. If your skin is less tanned, the contrast between the blood vessels and background colour of the skin is greater, making treatment easier. However, Ellipse has preprogrammed settings for different skin types that deliver the correct energy output for your complexion. The images in this leaflet, will give you some idea of what is possible.

[H4] How long does an Ellipse treatment take?
Often, several vessels can be targeted in one flash of light. The treatment time depends on the area to be covered and the number of distinct vessels to be treated. A single session typically lasts 15-20 minutes.
[H4] Do I need to take special precautions before and after treatment?
It is, important to avoid tanning (sun, solarium or selftanning products) before and during the treatment period. Otherwise your tanned skin will absorb more light, which makes treatment less effective and less comfortable. It is also a good idea to avoid smoking in the 4 hours prior to treatment. Generally, no special care is necessary after treatment, but people with sensitive skin may benefit from applying a cold compress (a cold damp cloth) to the area immediately after treatment or from using an ointment prescribed by the doctor. After treatment, you should avoid sun exposure for 30 days, even if there is no sign of inflammation in the treated area. Use sun protection (minimum SPF 30) if sun exposure cannot be avoided.
[H4] How many Ellipse treatments do I need?
The number of treatments depends on location and number of the vessels to be treated.
[H4] Does the treatment hurt?
No anaesthetics are required, and many patients describe the treatment as being like a flick from a
rubber band followed by a sensation similar to the feeling of gentle warmth after a day on the beach.
[H4] How can I be sure Ellipse is safe and effective?
Clinical trials documenting Ellipse’s safety and effectiveness were carried out by leading doctors prior to the launch of the treatments, and these were published in respected, referenced medical journals. You are welcome to view these scientific papers on the Ellipse website at www.ellipse.com.

Your Diagnosis

Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.

Information Density 0 / 30
Read the Narrative & headings: do hard facts (prices, dates, numbers) outweigh fluff power-words?
Semantic Coherence 0 / 20
Compare the homepage promise against the sub-page reality. Do they hold the same line?
Trust & Proof 0 / 20
Weigh review mentions against actual external proof links. Claims without verification = theatre.
Commodity Fingerprint 0 / 15
Check headings & narrative against the industry clichés in the setup above.
Identity & Authority 0 / 15
Inspect the schema: is there real Organization/Person identity with sameAs links, or gaps?
Your predicted BS score 0 / 100
💡 Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)

These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.

Information Density

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Semantic Alignment

Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.

Trust & Proof

Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.

Commodity Fingerprint

Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.

Identity & Authority

Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.

Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.

This is a low-BS, high-technical-debt site that functions more as a digital brochure for Ellipse equipment than a branded service entity. It provides genuine technical substance but hides behind manufacturer data, leaving a void where personal authority and local proof should be.

Immediately add the names and professional biographies of the therapists mentioned to close the authority gap. Replace generic Ellipse manufacturer copy with unique, clinic-specific descriptions of the patient journey. Supplement the external links to ellipse.org with a gallery of localized before-and-after photos that include treatment parameters and dates. Correct the heading hierarchy on the homepage by adding a clear H1 that includes the brand name and primary location.

The site strongly aligns with the Beauty and Laser treatment category, specifically focusing on Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and laser-based solutions. The terminology used, such as ‘chromophore oxy-haemoglobin’ and ‘hyper-keratinisation’, is technically appropriate for medical-grade aesthetic services.

“The score of 33 is driven primarily by the lack of individual identity (Authority) and the use of manufacturer-standardized text (Commodity Fingerprint). It scored exceptionally well in Semantic Coherence and Information Density due to its disciplined focus on technical protocols and avoidance of 'revolutionary' power-word fluff.”
