We recommend you try the same size Comply tip that you use with your earbud's stock silicone tips. Our data has shown that up to 60% of the population uses size medium. How long will my Comply ear tips last?

The lifespan for Comply Foam ear tips tips depends on use and averages 2-3 months per pair for non-MAX products and roughly twice as long for MAX products. How you use the tips, body chemistry (earwax, oils, etc.), and the environment will affect how long your tips last. Replace when the tips start to flake, tear or lose their memory foam properties such as expanding too quickly. Tips will deteriorate if exposed to alcohol-based cleaners, hand sanitizers or lotions. Colored tips may fade with time, this is normal and does not affect performance.

How do I know I found the right tip for my earbuds?

What makes Comply tips better than other tips?

There are different earbud tip options out there, but knowing the difference between Comply foam vs other foam tips can give you an insight into why thousands of earbud users choose Comply.1. How can I clean my Comply ear tips?

If tips are not tearing or deteriorating, you may be able to extend the life of your tips by gently removing ear wax and debris.Do not clean tips when warm and soft just out of your ear. Once at room temperature, either use a Comply Cleaning Kit or wash the tips in warm water, squish with a soft cloth and air dry before next use. Never use soap, detergent, or alcohol-based cleaners as they will break down the foam. We also recommend that you do not handle the ear tips immediately after applying lotions or hand sanitizer. We recommend replacing non-MAX Comply Foam Tips about every 3 months or when they become soiled. Colored tips may fade with time, this is normal and does not affect performance.

Comply tips don't fit me well. What should I do?

We have designed our tips to fit most customers’ ear canals and be the most comfortable ear tips on the market. There is a small percentage of people we are not able to fit.Prepping the ear tips for insertion is the first step to a proper fit. Quickly compress and roll the tip with your thumb and forefinger, insert and hold the device in place for a few seconds while the foam comfortably expands to fit your ear canal.With our Guaranteed Fit Program, you may need to try a different size. Sizing depends on the issue you are encountering:Pressure or pain – size down.Earbuds pushing out – size down.Earbuds falling out, especially if happening during exercise or activity – size up.Outside noise leaking in or not a great seal – size up. Some earbuds use an APP or software to test for a proper seal. If you find you do not pass a fit test or active noise cancellation is affected, try adjusting the earbuds, or you may need a larger size tip. There are times when the all-day comfort and security of the earbuds outweighs passing a fit or seal test. If you are using wired earbuds or IEM’s, you may want to try a different shape.

How can I stop my Apple AirPods Pro 3 from falling out?

To achieve the best fit and seal, we suggest rolling the tip between your thumb and forefinger to compress the foam before inserting it in your ear. Using your other hand, pull your ear back as this helps straighten out the ear canal allowing for a deeper insertion. Once in the ear, hold a finger to the end of the earphone, try counting to 15, to keep everything in place for a moment while the foam expands to conform to your ear canal. If you haven’t already been doing this, give it a try. It’s a simple thing, but it can make a big difference.

What size Comply Ear Tips Should I Buy

We usually tell customers to use the same size Comply tip as you would with silicone tips. Size will make a difference in retention and noise reduction. However, since our foam tips are compressible to insert and then expand in your ear, we have found that the medium size fits most users comfortably.All purchases for single size packs from our website are backed by our Guaranteed Fit Program. If you have any issues with the size, let us know and we will provide you a store credit for you to use on the correct size.

How Do I Clean My Comply Ear Tips for My Apple AirPods?

Occasionally cleaning the tips will have a positive effect on their lifespan (about once a month). This can be done with a soft washcloth and water. Dampen the wash cloth and wipe the tips clean. Allow them to air dry before your next use. Never use soap as the detergent in even the mildest of them will break down the foam. Do not handle immediately after applying lotions or hand sanitizes. Beyond this, we usually advise the general care of your ears and your listening device (clean ears, nice storage pouch or case, no excessive heat or cold) are sufficient care for your tips.

What if I don't like them? Can I return them?

We want you to be satisfied with your Comply Foam products and we will ensure you have tips that work for you.Customers who purchase their tips from www.complyfoam.com are eligible for our Guaranteed Fit Program. If you ordered the wrong size tips, email us us within two weeks of receiving your order, and we’ll provide you correct size tips to ensure a perfect fit.Please note, this program only applies to single size ear tip packages, earphones that we list as compatible on our website, and the customer is responsible for shipping costs of the new product. How long should my Comply Ear Tips Last? / How can I prolong the lifespan?

For peak performance, we do recommend changing to new tips every 2-3 months. MAX users can expect roughly double this timeframe. A three pair package of tips will last most users around 9 months. Of course, how much you use the tips will have an affect on the lifespan of the tips. Our active users may find they need to replace their tips more often than the average user. To prevent early tearing or disintegration of the tips, make sure you prep the tip before each use. This involves gently rolling the tips down between your thumb and pointer finger before insertion. Occasionally cleaning the tips will have a positive effect on their lifespan. This can be done with a soft damp washcloth (only use water!). Simply wipe clean and allow them to air dry before their next use. Never use soap as the detergent if even the mildest of them will break down the foam. We also recommend that you do not handle it immediately after applying lotions or hand sanitizer. Beyond this, we usually advise the general care of your ears and your listening device. Store your earphones in a hard carrying case to avoid extra friction, and store them away from direct heat or cold.
