[H4] Efficient & Practical Driver Configuration
Similar to the HEXA, PURE includes one dynamic driver and three balanced armature drivers. The design aims to align with the tuning target curve of the most advanced HATS by making adjustments based on HEXA's design experience and feedback from audio professionals. By incorporating a simple yet effective configuration, PURE strives to deliver a high-quality hybrid earphone with a well-defined three-frequency response at a reasonable price.A specialized dynamic driver with a diameter of 10mm is responsible for managing the bass range. It features a mature internal magnetic circuit structure paired with a diaphragm made from silica gel (for suspension) and LCP material (for the dome). Unlike the commonly used copper-clad aluminum found in many dynamic drivers for bass, this model employs a specialized copper voice coil. This choice helps to reduce its natural resonant frequency (F0) and appropriately increase its impedance, allowing for punchy bass that meets the demands of accurate frequency crossover.For mid frequencies and part of the high range, a composite full-frequency balanced armature driver, distinct from the HEXA model, is utilized. This driver is designed to establish an accurate connection with the frequency band of the specialized dynamic driver, ensuring that the high frequencies align closely with the intended design goals based on HRTF characteristics measured by BK5128 HATS.PURE optimizes the frequency crossover and damping characteristics. By using a customized balanced armature driver similar to the WBFK series for the high-frequency range, it enhances the upper high frequency extension and improves both resolution and information delivery for these frequencies, while also supplementing the overall bandwidth.‍
[H4] Accurate Hybrid Three-Frequency Crossover
The nozzle structure of PURE, which incorporates a filtering function, is created using high-precision DLP-3D printing technology. This design, combined with an accurately calculated RC frequency crossover, results in a hybrid three-frequency crossover system that allows each of the four drivers to effectively perform its designated role under different corresponding nozzles. This advancement helps bring the objective measurements of the PURE closer to the intended design goals.‍
[H4] Superior Objective Measurements
PURE has made significant adjustments to various components of the audio system, including the frequency divider, drivers, damping, cavity, and cable. These modifications aim to reduce the Q value of the resonance peak in the upper high-frequency range while also optimizing bass gain for a better listening experience.PURE delivers a solid, natural sound that is versatile enough for various applications, including monitoring, music, and gaming. Compared to the HEXA, it features punchier bass, a more solid mid-range, and enhanced brightness and detail in the high frequencies, leading to a well-balanced proportion and timbre across all three frequency bands.Like other multi-driver products from Truthear, the PURE maintains high phase consistency across all frequency bands. This design eliminates connection issues that often plague standard multi-driver earphones, ensuring a more natural listening experience without the distortions caused by phase discrepancies.‍

DLP 3D printing cavity, from HeyGears, utilizes medical-grade, high-transparency resin, featuring internal coloring and advanced surface grinding technology. It employs multiple high-precision processing techniques to enhance the surface textures of various components, improving the overall aesthetic. ZERO:BLUE2 features a dual-cavity internal magnetic circuit dynamic drivers design, incorporating a 10mm solid silica gel suspension composite liquid crystal dome with an N52 magnet and a 7.8mm upgraded polyurethane suspension liquid crystal dome with an N55 magnet.Utilizing a DLP-3D printing process for the cavity and a silicone capping technique, these methods are typically reserved for high-end multi-driver products and custom earphones.ZERO:BLUE2 is equipped with a newly designed copper silver-plated coaxial cable.‍
[H4] Upgraded Configuration, Enhanced Efficiency
Like its predecessors in the ZERO series, the ZERO:BLUE2 features dual dynamic drivers. However, the structure of the 7.8mm dynamic driver has been modified, focusing on mid and high frequencies. This driver utilizes a mature internal magnetic circuit structure, incorporating flexible polyurethane material for suspension and an LCP (liquid crystal polymer) dome diaphragm. Despite these similarities, the internal design is quite different from earlier models.We have achieved a significant breakthrough by increasing the diameter of the magnet for the 7.8mm driver by approximately 25%. Additionally, we expanded the dome area by about 50% and improved the high-frequency conductive structure. Although these changes make the production and processing of this dynamic driver more challenging, they enhance conversion efficiency and greatly improve sensitivity in the upper high frequencies. This advancement not only meets our R&D needs but also results in objectively superior measurements, yielding a smooth, transparent high-frequency response with enhanced extension and excellent resolution.Furthermore, the 10mm dynamic driver, which handles the bass frequencies, has also received an upgrade. The newly adjusted solid silicone suspension aligns with the liquid crystal dome diaphragm and features an ultra-thin wire diameter voice coil, creating a brand-new bass tuning system. This system employs a low-distortion frequency crossover design similar to that of the ZERO:RED, resulting in significantly improved objective measurements, such as lower nonlinear distortion compared to the original ZERO. As a result, users can expect deeper and punchier bass performance.‍
[H4] Hybrid Multiple Frequency Crossover
We have redesigned the cavity structure and low-distortion frequency crossover circuit based on valuable experience and user feedback from previous models featuring double dynamic drivers. This redesign aims to enhance the dynamic drivers' conversion efficiency while allowing each speaker to fulfill its respective role. As a result, we have significantly improved sensitivity. The filtered nozzle, accurately printed by HeyGears using high-precision 3D-DLP technology, works in conjunction with a mixed multiple frequency crossover, bringing the objective measurements of the ZERO:BLUE2 closer to the intended design goals.‍
[H4] Exellent Objective Measurements
The R&D goal of ZERO:BLUE2 marks a departure from previous TRUTHEAR products. Our aim is to enhance overall conversion efficiency while maintaining excellent performance in both linear and nonlinear distortion. Non-linear distortion: ZERO:BLUE2 not only meets our anticipated R&D objectives but also outperforms RED in certain frequency ranges regarding non-linear distortion. It delivers a clean background and effectively restores details, allowing for accurate reproduction of musical timbre.Linear distortion: The frequency response curve targeted by ZERO:BLUE2 is designed to align more closely with public preference characteristics. We have optimized the low bass response (below 50Hz) through various means, ensuring a smoother transition in the mid frequency. The high frequency are closely matched to the amplitude response characteristics of HRTF, maintaining high sensitivity above 10000Hz.These enhancements have significantly optimized ZERO:BLUE2 compared to the performance metrics of ZERO. In terms of subjective listening experience, it offers a more dynamic and vivid sound than RED, with excellent high-frequency conversion efficiency that reveals the subtle details in recording and mixing processes.Additionally, ZERO:BLUE2 features highly consistent full-band phase characteristics, effectively eliminating the unnatural listening experience often caused by phase distortion.

The shell of the ZERO:BLUE2 continues to benefit from high-quality 3D-DLP services provided by the reliable brand, HeyGears. The new model inherits the design of the original ZERO but features a redesigned faceplate, offering users a fresh visual experience. Thanks to the optimized DLP 3D-printed resin material, we have managed to reduce the local material thickness within the cavity while maintaining impressive structural durability. Additionally, we have optimized the nozzle size and adjusted the support angles, improving the overall comfort of the ZERO:BLUE2. This results in a lightweight and skin-friendly cavity that makes it more suitable for long-term wear.‍

The ZERO:BLUE2 incorporates a 0.78mm 2-pin design and comes with an upgraded two-strand high-quality copper and silver-plated coaxial cable. The number of internal wires has been increased further, enhancing sound performance and providing a tangle-free experience. Moreover, it offers a microphone option that includes not only the two-strand high-quality copper and silver-plated coaxial cable with a 3.5mm single-ended 0.78mm 2-pin connection, but also features an oxygen-free copper mic cable of exceptional quality (same as the mic cable used in the GATE).
