What is the Music Aptitude Test (MAT)?

The MAT is an assessment used by many state secondary schools to identify students with strong natural musical potential. How many stages does the Music Aptitude Test have?

What happens after Stage 1 of the Music Aptitude Test?

Registration: This usually opens in Spring (April/May). Ashley holds a BA (Hons) in Creative Music and Technology. A skilled multi-instrumentalist, he has over 20 years of experience in composition, orchestration, and production, along with 15 years in music education. Ashley has conducted and performed his original works with the London Film Music Orchestra and actively collaborates with musicians worldwide.
