A Skip 4 U have been independently trading from our Recycling Centre in Sandwich since 1984, where our team of recycling agents do all thats possible to be 100% green, priding ourselves on our years of experience and excellent, reliable service to all of our customers. All of our skips have drop doors (even the 2cyd mini skip and the 12cyd industrial!). We employ a force of local drivers – they may be ugly chaps, but you can ensure they are all trained to a high standard to give our customers the best service. They’ve also got a great sense of humour – you’d have to when you look like they do! Our fleet of specially designed lorries also come in many sizes – we even have ones that are compact and perfect for those hard to access sites and driveways. HOW MUCH DOES SKIP HIRE COST?The cost of the skip depends on how big it is and a few other things. We provide skips that are incredibly competitively priced and the best thing to do is call us on 0800 980 6663 so we can help you to work out what you will need.HOW DO I PAY?We are happy to accept most forms of debit or credit card over the phone or you can pay our driver by cash or cheque on delivery.WHAT ITEMS AM I ALLOWED TO PUT INSIDE MY SKIP?You may put hardcore, bricks and rubble into our skips as well as soil (which is not contaminated), plastics, wood, metal, furniture, fittings – pretty much most things you'll be able to find around your home. We will be happy to take and properly dispose of TV's, Monitors, Fridges and Freezers, but please let us know if your load will contain any of these so we can arrange appropriate recyclingWHAT ITEMS AM I NOT ALLOWED TO PUT IN THE SKIP?If you are worried about something that you want to dispose of, please call us first – we are happy to take most things but cannot take asbestos, florescent light tubes, loose paints, hot ashes, fluids, toxics or acids. We will however be happy to advise on where this waste can be disposed of in a safe and legal way.DO I NEED A PERMIT?You will require a permit if you would like to put a skip in a public area on a road and our ugly drivers will be more than happy to help to sort this out.WHAT HAPPENS TO MY WASTE?Your waste will be taken to our recycling facility in Sandwich and then hand sorted. Everything that can be recycled will. HOW MUCH CAN I PUT IN THE SKIP?You can fill a skip to the brim but no more – some people like to use boards to make the skip bigger, but with us you don't need to you can just order a bigger skip! Overloaded or dangerously loaded skips will not be taken, so if you look like you will need another skip just give us a call and we'll arrange the best option for any left over waste. Skips should always be a level load for the safety of the highway (we don't want anything falling out on the way back!)CAN YOU BRING ME A SKIP TODAY?We can offer same day skips – call us on 0800 980 6663 to ask about availability. WHAT HAPPENS IF I DAMAGE THE SKIP? Our Ugly Drivers love their skips, so please do all you can to keep them in good condition. We ask that you don't try to move the skip with diggers or other machines or do anything to damage the skip – if you do you will be charged for the repair.
