The cyber cart has not disappointed.Steve C.I play 2-3 times per week and have buddies with several different brands/models of electric push carts. I’ve been pondering a purchase for over a year and when I started seeing the Alphards at my club, they caught my eye. The larger wheels (both front and back) seem to handle bumps and gravel cart paths better than the brands with smaller wheels. Also, I like the streamlined battery and how it just disappears into an existing part of the structure.
I’ve used my new Alphard about ten times and really love it. It has 5 green LED battery indicator lights and burns through one light per nine holes. I’ve played 27 a couple of times leaving two LEDs still on, so I have no doubt the battery is good for a full 36, if ever needed.
Only drawback (which applies to all electric trollies - not just Alphard) is the weight. Between battery and motors, these things are significantly heavier than non-moto

First issue I had was the internal charging port for the remote came off in the first year. The little port seriously came right of the little circuit board inside the remote. I contacted them to get a replacement and they offered my a $20 discount on an $89 dollar remote. EIGHTY-NINE DOLLARS for a POS cheap remote. They seriously blamed me and said I have to push the mini usb cord in the right way. Wow... Talk about terrible customer service. I'm not a moron and know how to plug a charging cable in. It is/was obviously very cheaply made. So... Now I've only been using my phone app which is a major pain.
Next issue... I had to buy a backup battery after two years when mine wouldn't make it 18 holes anymore. I charge it fully after each round. The course I play is very hilly, but I'm around scratch, so it's not like I'm taking it all over the course.
Next issue... This is now my 3rd or 4th year in (2-year warranty) and my cart goes 2 feet and stops every time I push the button to make it go forward. Basically unusable. I'm sure it's another instance of cheap circuitry in the motor itself.
So.... It was great while it worked, but take all that for what it's worth. My brother and friends have had absolutely no issues with their MGI carts thus far.
