Ben Turner brought Netcompany INEOS home in 11th place after a high octane sprint finale into Pieve di Soligo. Turner finished just outside the top 10 after a twisty, technical finish won by Paul Magnier (Soudal Quick-step) who prevailed after a high-speed run-in to the finish. Thymen Arensman and Egan Bernal finished in the peloton to retain their overall positions ahead of a crucial final weekend which will decide the general classificaion. The stage had started with a fight to get into the break, but after a small group went clear, the sprinters' teams seemed content to allow five riders a small advantage. This group were held on a tight leash as a key climb in the final run-in was seen as pivotal for many teams. Filippo Ganna, Connor Swift and Magnus Sheffield did a good job in positioning Arensman and Bernal before the Muro di Ca' del Poggio to ensure the duo were near the front. The race split here, with GC riders and puncheurs going clear before a reduced peloton chased back on, with Turner now well-placed to contest the sprint. The Yorkshireman, who turned 27 today, fought into the fast-paced final, but was unable to find a way through as Magnier prevailed. 1 Paul Magnier Soudal Quick-Step 03:46:50 2 Edoardo Zambanini Bahrain Victorious + 00 3 Jonathan Milan Lidl-Trek + 00 11 Ben Turner Netcompany INEOS Cycling Team + 00 35 Thymen Arensman Netcompany INEOS Cycling Team + 00 38 Egan Bernal Netcompany INEOS Cycling Team + 00 43 Embret Svestad-Bårdseng Netcompany INEOS Cycling Team + 00 50 Jack Haig Netcompany INEOS Cycling Team + 00 86 Magnus Sheffield Netcompany INEOS Cycling Team + 04:00 151 Filippo Ganna Netcompany INEOS Cycling Team + 08:23 154 Connor Swift Netcompany INEOS Cycling Team + 08:23 1 Jonas Vingegaard Team Visma | Lease a Bike 2 Felix Gall Decathlon CMA CGM Team + 04:03 3 Thymen Arensman Netcompany INEOS Cycling Team + 04:27 11 Egan Bernal Netcompany INEOS Cycling Team + 09:44 27 Embret Svestad-Bårdseng Netcompany INEOS Cycling Team + 53:40 38 Jack Haig Netcompany INEOS Cycling Team + 01:26:56 48 Magnus Sheffield Netcompany INEOS Cycling Team + 01:38:06 71 Ben Turner Netcompany INEOS Cycling Team + 02:44:07 83 Connor Swift Netcompany INEOS Cycling Team + 03:01:14 86 Filippo Ganna Netcompany INEOS Cycling Team + 03:02:43 Alpes Isère Tour stage two Peter Oxenberg sprinted to third after a hectic finish to move up to sixth overall after two stages of the Alpes Isère Tour. Oxenberg was active in an undulating final, but was edged into third in a final sprint in Bourgoin-Jallieu after Mattie Dodds' late break was caught by the chasing bunch. The Danish rider is just 15 seconds off the lead, with the race looking set to be decided on Sunday's GC test.

Your Diagnosis
Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.
Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)
These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.
Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.
Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.
Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.
Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.
Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.
Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.
Based on 558 businesses audited.
Netcompany INEOS has 26.3 points less BS than the average for Fitness, Gyms & Sports Clubs.
Fitness, Gyms & Sports Clubs BS: Netcompany INEOS (ineosgrenadiers.com)
This is a benchmark for low-BS professional sports communication. It avoids the ‘Gym’ industry’s marketing fluff entirely, opting for a data-driven approach that prioritizes reporting over persuasion. The only minor deductions come from technical SEO omissions like the missing H1 and structured data.
Fix the homepage technical structure by adding a descriptive H1 such as ‘Netcompany INEOS Grenadiers Professional Cycling Team.’ Implement comprehensive JSON-LD Organization schema on the homepage and Person schema on the team roster pages to link riders to their official UCI profiles. Link race result tables directly to the official timing partners’ websites to provide external proof paths for performance data. Ensure the ‘Find out more’ H3 is replaced with a more descriptive heading like ‘Team Merchandise and Media.’
The website is the official portal for a professional WorldTour cycling team. While it fits the broad category of ‘Sports Clubs,’ it operates at an elite professional level, rendering the provided ‘Gym & Fitness’ jargon and generic claims (like ‘transform your body’) entirely absent, which confirms a high-authority specialized entity.
“The score of 10 is driven by technical gaps in Pillar 5 (Identity and Authority) and minor template remnants in Pillar 4. The site's Information Density and Semantic Coherence are nearly flawless, reflecting the high-stakes, data-heavy nature of professional WorldTour cycling. It is a 'Substance-First' site.”
