Wonderful hotel. The room was stunning with views across the valley. Staff were exceptional, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Served overlooking the Mediterranean terraced garden, it is relaxed, generous and full of flavour, with sheltered seating and terrace tables for easy dinners and weekend BBQ dining near Stroud. In cooler weather, the experience moves into the Garden Bothy, our cosy timber chalet on the back patio, where candlelight, soft throws and the scent of woodsmoke create a warm, fireside dining atmosphere.
