Moisture absorbing nanotechnology

Technology
[H2] Take a dive into our anti-fog technology

The Pinlock® anti-fog technology is based on two key principles to ensure fog-free vision. The moisture absorbing surface of the lens effectively attracts and stores water molecules, while the airtight seal creates a thermal barrier together, preventing condensation of the visor.

Anti-fog technology
[H2] The two key principles of our anti-fog technology

The joint forces of the surface and the seal, combined with the durable pin based positioning make Pinlock® the number one anti-fog solution for helmets.

Video file

[H3] Moisture absorbing nanotechnology

The moisture absorbing surface effectively attracts and stores water molecules in humid conditions. In low humidity the stored water in the lens evaporates, creating room for new fog-free adventures.

Video file

[H3] Airtight chamber

The airtight seal prevents visor condensation by acting as a thermal barrier through the air pocket between the visor and anti-fog lens.

Video file

MaxVision™
[H2] Regular vs MaxVision™

MaxVision™ offers a wide-screen fog-free vision and maximizes the unobstructed view. The Pinlock® insert lens neatly integrates within the visor.

XLT®
[H2] Take a look on the bright side

Due to a new raw material formula, Pinlock® XLT® lenses are clearer and therefore have a higher light transmission, outperforming ECE 22.06 regulations. This ensures brighter colors and more contrast while riding. The extra brightness makes the XLT® lens capable for nighttime use while still preventing condensation of the visor.

Pins
[H2] Pin based positioning system

The durable pin-based positioning system allows easy lens placement and ensures secure fitment. Pinlock® offers four types of pins that are all excentric shaped to adjust the tension on the lens. Adjust the lens tension without the insert in your visor for ultimate performance and a fog-free ride.

[H3] One Component Pin

FAQ
[H2] Everything you need to know about our products

[H3] Lenses

[H4] How to install your Pinlock® lens?
Remove the helmet visor from the helmet.Check if the arrows on the Pinlock® pins in the visor are pointing outwards.Flex the helmet visor and place the Pinlock® lens between the two pins.Check with natural light if the silicon seal on the insert makes full contact with the helmet visor.Remove the protective film from the lens.Fit the helmet visor back on the helmet. For a detailed instruction check the video or download the instruction manual.Check the video
[H4] How to clean your Pinlock® lens?
Remove the Pinlock® lens from your visor.Rinse the lens and the helmet visor with only mineral water, this should remove all the dirt. Then carefully use a clean, wet microfiber cloth to erase any remaining stains.Allow the Pinlock® lens and the helmet visor to dry naturally in an upright position before reassembling them.Flex the helmet visor and place the lens between the two pins.Check with natural light if the silicon seal on the lens makes full contact with the helmet visor.Fit the helmet visor back on the helmet.
[H4] What is the best way to store a Pinlock® lens?
Store the Pinlock® in a dark place that is free from moisture and dust. A soft cloth or plastic bag should do the trick. Our lenses are sensitive to scratches due to the microfibre technology, so please handle them with care.
[H4] What is a DKS number?
DKS is our own unique product coding system. Pinlock® lenses are customized to the shape of the helmet visor. By using DKS numbers, it is possible to distinguish the lenses from each other. Fun fact, it is named after our founder.
[H4] Where can I buy a Pinlock® lens for my helmet?
It is not possible to buy a lens from us, so the best way is to search online or visit your local store. Our unique DKS number, which corresponds to the correct Pinlock® lens for your helmet, will help you find the right lens. Check the product page of your helmet to find the DKS number.
[H4] How can I get a better seal?
Over time the lens may shrink, resulting that it may come loose. Adjusting the pins will result in more tension on the lens.Remove the helmet visor from the helmet.Take the Pinlock® lens out of your visor.Turn the pin indicator 45 degrees towards your helmet.Replace the Pinlock® lens by flexing your helmet visor.Check the seal.

[H3] Pins

[H4] Adjust your One Component Pin
Please remove the Pinlock® lens from the visor before adjusting the Pinlock® One Component Pin.Adjust the pins by pushing them outwards and turning them with your fingers before pushing them back in. Your Diagnosis

Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.

Information Density 0 / 30
Read the Narrative & headings: do hard facts (prices, dates, numbers) outweigh fluff power-words?
Semantic Coherence 0 / 20
Compare the homepage promise against the sub-page reality. Do they hold the same line?
Trust & Proof 0 / 20
Weigh review mentions against actual external proof links. Claims without verification = theatre.
Commodity Fingerprint 0 / 15
Check headings & narrative against the industry clichés in the setup above.
Identity & Authority 0 / 15
Inspect the schema: is there real Organization/Person identity with sameAs links, or gaps?
Your predicted BS score 0 / 100
💡 Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)

These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.

Information Density

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Semantic Alignment

Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.

Trust & Proof

Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.

Commodity Fingerprint

Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.

Identity & Authority

Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.

Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.

Implement Organization and Brand schema to bridge the technical identity gap. Explicitly name the founder and provide a bio to capitalize on the DKS origin story. Specify the exact years and names of the award-winning accolades mentioned on the homepage. Link to the specific ECE 22.06 test results to solidify the XLT performance claims.

The site fits the specialized manufacturing and safety equipment category perfectly. The content focuses on precision engineering for helmet visors, utilizing technical terminology related to thermodynamics and advanced materials.

“The score of 17 is exceptionally low, indicating minimal BS. The score was primarily generated by technical omission (missing schema and founder footprint) rather than substantive deception. Semantic coherence and information density are near-perfect, reflecting a highly transparent brand.”
