Keywords : Net Zero Factory, vanadium redox flow battery, energy management system, self-wheeling, renewable energy PDF 2.3 MB [IMG: Realization of a Net Zero Factory Utilizing Vanadium Redox Flow Battery and Energy Management System] PDF 2.3 MB Solution Utilizing Energy Storage System The importance of investment in and utilization of renewable energy sources such as solar power is increasing as a result of increases in electricity consumption due to the new construction and expansion of data centers, the fossil fuel procurement risk arising from geopolitical factors, and efforts to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. However, the output of renewable energy sources fluctuates depending on weather conditions and their large-scale integration leads to instability in the power system. One solution for maintaining stable and reliable operations is to ensure flexibility through the use of batteries. Nissin Electric Co., Ltd. provides a solution that integrates the entire system from storage batteries to substations. This paper introduces a battery utilization solution that combines Nissin Electric Co., Ltd.’s solution with Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd.’s energy management system, sEMSA (Sumitomo Energy Management System Architecture) in order to meet various needs regarding battery utilization. Understanding the health and characteristics of these batteries, especially in relation to degradation from charging, discharging, and aging, is extremely important for stable operation of the system. To diagnose the storage battery on-site and in real-time, a battery deterioration diagnosis technology based on the battery's transient response characteristics is being researched and developed. This paper introduces the features of battery degradation diagnosis using transient response analysis and the results of verification related to its application in stationary storage batteries. Keywords : battery deterioration diagnosis, lithium-ion battery, real time, operational data, transient response analysis PDF 1.3 MB [IMG: Real-Time Deterioration Diagnosis Technology for Stationary Storage Batteries] PDF 1.3 MB Gas Sensor for Monitoring Stationary Storage Batteries The use of renewable energy is expanding to achieve carbon neutrality, and there is a growing demand for stationary battery energy storage systems (BESS), which are essential technologies contributing to the stable supply of energy when combined with generation facilities. Most storage batteries used in BESS are lithium-ion batteries (LiBs). Recently, there has been an increase in fires caused by LiB abnormalities, not only in countries where LiBs were introduced earlier but also in Japan. As a result, safety standards have been established both overseas and domestically. In Japan, the corresponding standard is JIS C4441:2021. To comply with the standard, it is necessary to have a system that detects gas and fire generated when an abnormality occurs in the BESS (such as during LiB thermal runaway) and issues an alarm externally, which is one of the requirements. Nissin Electric Co., Ltd. has developed a sensor for detecting gas generated when an abnormality occurs in LiBs, as a component of BESS. In this report, we introduce the features of this device and examples of its use in the field. Keywords : gas sensor, storage battery, LIB, JISC4441 PDF 2.6 MB [IMG: Gas Sensor for Monitoring Stationary Storage Batteries] PDF 2.6 MB Power Grid Analysis Technologies Contributing to Wind Power Expansion Wind power generation is being increasingly adopted as a renewable energy source. Especially in large-scale wind farm (WF) systems, turbine sites are often located far from substations. When long AC cables are installed, the risk of abnormal phenomena occurrence increases due to the cable capacitance. This paper introduces the interactions between iron-core equipment, such as transformers, used in the WF system, and cable capacitance. Furthermore, this paper shows the contribution of simulations in advance by power grid analysis technologies to realize stable operation of the WF system. The paper also presents the results of experiments validating abnormal phenomena, using a small transformer. Our company has focused on developing eco-friendly non-crosslinked materials for DC applications by skipping the crosslinking process, achieving energy efficiency and reducing lead time by removing the drying process. Our research shows that we have successfully developed the non-crosslinked material for DC applications. The mechanical and electrical properties are equivalent to those of filled type DC-XLPE, and the material has sufficient DC lifespan. We produced model cables, confirming stable fundamental characteristics. The absence of crosslinking byproducts ensures stable volume resistivity, enhancing quality compared to filled type DC-XLPE. We aim to continue prototyping and evaluating cables for high reliability similar to filled type DC-XLPE. Keywords : direct current cable, non-crosslinked material, volume resistivity, space charge PDF 1.3 MB [IMG: Research on Environmentally Friendly Non-Crosslinked Materials for Direct Current Applications] PDF 1.3 MB Study on Filled XLPE Insulation Material for HVDC Cables, Part. 1 The High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) cables developed by our company are highly regarded for their excellent direct current (DC) characteristics. These include a permissible conductor temperature of 90°C under normal conditions and the ability to operate under polarity reversal. These characteristics are achieved by adding inorganic fillers to cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE). Our cables are widely adopted in domestic and international projects. Through collaborative research with the university, we are working to understand how adding inorganic fillers improves DC characteristics. As part of these efforts, we report the development of a novel technique for evaluating charge trap depth, which is believed to significantly influence DC characteristics, using approaches such as X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS). However, to further improve the quality and performance of our cables, we developed new DC XLPE cables that incorporate an insulation formulation containing new inorganic fillers. This cable not only passed type tests, including polarity reversal, recommended by Conseil International des Grands Réseaux Électriques (CIGRE), one of the largest international conferences in the power industry, but also additional tests under severe electrical conditions. Moreover, space charge measurements of the cable insulation were conducted using Piezoelectric Effect Acoustic (PEA) methods before and after these long-term tests, revealing that the amount of space charge was low and remained nearly unchanged between the values before and after the tests. These results demonstrate that the new DC XLPE cables have favorable long-term DC characteristics. Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.
Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.
Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.
Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.
Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.
Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.

Industrial, Manufacturing & Engineering BS: Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. (sumitomoelectric.com)
This site is a fortress of substance. It avoids the typical manufacturing trap of hiding lack of capability behind ‘world-class’ adjectives by providing actual engineering papers and billion-euro contract details. The only ‘BS’ detected is a metadata mismatch where the site uses ‘Review’ terminology for technical documents, which triggers standard trust theatre flags.
To achieve a perfect score, implement Organization and Article schema to formally link named experts and authors to their digital footprints via sameAs properties. Explicitly link ‘Technical Reviews’ to external academic indices to move proof_links_count from 0 to 1. Rename the ‘Reviews’ metadata tag to ‘Technical Papers’ or ‘Publications’ to avoid being flagged for trust theatre by automated auditors. Ensure the homepage H1 is more descriptive of the brand’s core value proposition rather than just ‘Press Releases & News.’
The site is an exact match for the Industrial, Manufacturing & Engineering category. Content across all pages focuses on high-voltage cabling, power grid analysis, and advanced material science, confirming its role as a global infrastructure leader.
“The score of 18 is driven almost entirely by the technical lack of structured schema data and the Trust Theatre flag triggered by having 'Reviews' (internal papers) without external verification links. These are technicalities; the actual content is almost entirely BS-free, characterized by extreme specificity and temporal relevance.”
