Our tools support professional and personal work at the highest levels of skill. A Tekton tool stands apart for its classic design and refined function. We are intentional about every material choice and feature; we believe simpler is generally better and less is often more.Our core product categories include systems of hand drive sockets and ratchets, impact sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers. We also offer organization products ranging from small, tool-specific holders to large cabinets.[ tek • tin ]The word “Tekton” is from the ancient Greek language. It is similar to the word “technician” and shares its origin with words like “technical” and “technique.” A Tekton is a person of skill, particularly with the hands.

We have a single line of tools arranged logically by size and type. We assemble sets out of our individual components to maintain consistency, and we avoid skipping sizes, even rare ones that are at the outer limits of proper use. As a result, Tekton is an orderly tool system you can invest in.

[H2] Growing U.S. Manufacturing
In our facilities, we cut, engrave, and polish steel, mold plastic, and carry out a range of finishing and assembly operations. We are an industry leader in using agile manufacturing methods that support fast engineering improvements.We also work with carefully selected outside partners in the U.S. and in other countries. When we say that a tool is made in the United States, we mean that all the manufacturing takes place in the United States. We also whenever possible make sure that the materials have a U.S. origin. For example, the steel for all our in-house production of wrenches, picks, hooks, and pry bars is U.S.-sourced.About 81.5% of our current product lineup is made in Taiwan, 12% in the United States, 2% in Canada, 4% in Germany, and the remaining .5% consists of 14 items from Sweden, 4 items from Poland, and 1 item from Slovakia. You can find the country of origin for every tool on Tekton.com by referring to the “Specifications” section at the bottom of each product page.

[H2] Recertification Process
Submit a Form: We will email you a prepaid shipping label and instructions, typically within one business day.Package and Drop Off Your Torque Wrench: Use the provided shipping label and drop off your torque wrench at any UPS drop-off location.Torque Wrench Testing: Once we receive your torque wrench, we will run a test using our torque checking equipment. If your torque wrench is in range, we will certify it. If recalibration is needed, we will recalibrate, retest, and certify it. We will also check and certify the angle measurements on electronic torque wrenches. The testing method and new certificate will conform to the original standard your wrench was calibrated to: ASME B107.300-2021 for split beam torque wrenches, or ISO 6789-1:2017 for micrometer and electronic torque wrenches.Email Confirmation: We will email a summary of the services performed along with a PDF certificate, typically within two business days of receiving your torque wrench.Payment Link: You will receive a payment link via email. If your wrench tests within the stated accuracy, the cost for recertification is $50. If your wrench requires adjustment to achieve the stated accuracy, the cost for recalibration and recertification is $75.Return Shipping: We will provide a return tracking number via email and your certified wrench and calibration certificate will be shipped back to you.
