[H3] Partial Shipment [H3] Overview What is a Partial Shipment? A partial shipment ranges from 10 boxes to 800+ cubic feet, is loaded into a 40′ container with other partial shipments and is legally consigned to one person — you. Typically, if you are not shipping a whole house of goods, then you will need a partial shipment. Partial shipments are also called LCL (Less than Container Load) and consolidated shipments since multiple shipments are consolidated in a container. Two Types of Partial Shipments We offer two types of partial shipment — door-to-door and warehouse-to-door — as explained below. Click HERE for a crisp diagram of the door to door shipment. Click HERE for a crisp diagram of the warehouse to door shipment. Door-to-Door Partial Shipment Door-to-door shipments are overwhelmingly the most popular shipping option. A door-to-door shipment includes full-service packing, including all the boxes and supplies. You are not required to pack or wrap anything, nor buy boxes and supplies — it’s all included. Here is a VIDEO about full-packing services. Our crews are experienced, polite, and efficient — their goal is to provide excellence. Warehouse-to-Door Partial Shipment Warehouse-to-door shipping is the right solution for the right situation. All goods must be properly packed and wrapped before dropping them off at our warehouse. An inventory must also be provided. Typically, it’s the industrious, budget-minded person who enjoys the savings of this shipping option. We can help with packing tips and ideas if you chose a warehouse-to-door shipment. Minimum Shipment The minimum sized shipment we offer is 200 cubic feet, with a few exceptions. You can learn more about a 200 cubic foot shipment HERE Gross Volume The gross volume is defined as the outside dimensions (length x width x height) of a shipment and determines the cost. When shipments are returned to the warehouse and stacked on pallets or loaded in wood crates it increases the pick up volume by approximately 15%. You can learn more about gross volume HERE International Shipping International shipping is accomplished via a network of qualified moving and shipping agents located throughout the world. In large, densely-populated Jewish areas like NY/NJ, Philadephia, Baltimore, Miami, Los Angeles, and Toronto Jewish-owned aliyah-based shipping agents cater to our unique needs. All other locations are serviced by affiliated moving agents like an Atlas agent or an equivalent. Their services are also highly professional. Aliyah Lift Shipping started in 2009 as an independent shipping company — not an agent of another company — with our own network of trustworthy agents. We are grateful that our agents, their amazing crews and office support have helped us to become a leader in the aliyah shipping industry. Aliyah Based Agents Our network of aliyah-based agents consistently provide amazing, high-quality services in the following locations: East Coast : Local NY/NJ, Philadelphia, Baltimore/DC, Allentown, New Haven, and Boston. Florida : Southern Florida, Orlando, and Atlanta. Los Angeles : Almost all of California. Canada : Toronto and Montreal. The following applies to our aliyah-based agents : Shipping charges are based on volume. The minimum shipment is 200 cubic feet, with a few exceptions. You receive 30 days of free warehouse storage. Shipments are consolidated and shipped when there are enough shipments to fill a 40′ container. (Consolidation frequency varies by location and time of the year.) Learn more about timing your shipment HERE Customs clearance and delivery services are handled by a trustworthy, English-speaking Israeli company. Affiliated Moving Agents Our network of affiliated moving agents provides excellent packing services in areas not serviced by our aliyah-based agents. Our network includes United and Bekins agents, but the majority of our local packing services are with Atlas agents. They have proven to provide quality services at reasonable rates — a winning combination. The following applies to our affiliated moving agents : Packing charges are based on weight – not volume. The minimum shipment is 200 cubic feet. Shipments are loaded into 200+/- cubic foot Lift Van shipping crates or other sturdy shipping boxes or crates. Within 7-10 days, shipments are transported to an aliyah-based agent for consolidation and shipping to Israel. Consolidation frequency varies by location and time of the year. Learn more about timing your shipment HERE Customs clearance and delivery services are handled by a trustworthy, English-speaking Israeli company. [H3] The Process Packing & Pick Up Our door to door shipment includes full-service packing, including all the boxes and supplies (VIDEO) — everything. A small shipment, up to 400 cubic feet takes about 4 hours and a larger shipment is a full-day project. Typically, the packing crew arrives between 8 am and 9 am but you will be informed the day before with the crew’s ETA. An organized home and a clear understanding of what is being shipped are optimum for efficiency and accuracy. An inventory of your shipment will be made. Tips are always appreciated. You may ship more or fewer items than originally planned — the final cost will reflect the gross volume of your shipment. You can learn more about the gross volume HERE IMPORTANT : Secure all important documents, passports, visas, tallit/tefillin in a location where the crew will not be working. IMPORTANT : It is crucial to do a walk-through before the crew leaves to ensure everything has been packed. Self-packed boxes should be left unsealed so the contents can be verified for the inventory. Self-packed items cannot be insured for damages. (Most people only self-pack goods that aren’t broken like books or clothes.) Goods are returned to the warehouse and stacked on pallets or loaded into wood crates for shipping. This increases the pick up volume by approximately 15%. Storage Until Consolidation Shipments are stored in our aliyah-based agent’s secure warehouse until there are enough shipments to fill a 40′ container. Your first 30 days of warehouse storage are free. If the consolidation takes longer than 30 days, then storage is free until the consolidation. Additional warehouse storage is available for a fee and charged on a monthly basis. Shipping to Israel Once enough partial shipments have been collected a 40′ container is loaded, returned to the port, and shipped to Israel. Travel times vary depending on the port and the shipping line. You can learn more about travel times HERE Potential Delivery Charges There are industry-standard potential delivery charges based on situations that exceed a normal delivery Please keep them in mind when looking for your home in Israel. Delivery above the 2nd floor without an elevator. (This included outside steps as well.) Carrying a long distance from the truck to the residence. Difficult access where normal delivery is not possible. (Like in the Old City or the need for an outside elevator.) Extra heavy items like a piano or safe. Customs Clearance & Delivery The customs clearance process is the completion of the following forms : Declaration of Personal Import of Goods Power of attorney A form describing the delivery details of your residence. Gas grill permit — if applicable. Non-electric bike or scooter form — if applicable. Learn more about tax-free, taxable, and items forbidden to be imported HERE Customs clearance is completed via email. About a week after your file clears customs your shipment will be delivered to your home. An industrious crew will unload your shipment, putting your boxes and furniture in the rooms of your choice, unwrapping large pieces of furniture and assembling three basic pieces of furniture. SUB-PAGE (https://aliyahlift.com/container/) Container Shipments – Aliyah Lift Shipping
[H3] Container Shipment [H3] Overview What is a Container Shipment? A container shipment is the right choice when shipping a whole house of goods. It is exclusively yours and will not be loaded with any one else’s goods. Your household goods are loaded directly into the container and will stay there until your container arrives in Israel. For security, a seal is attached to the container door (SEAL). Shipments with difficult access or requiring storage are loaded from our agent’s warehouse. If the container is not filled completely a wall is made to eliminate shifting (WALL). Here is a list of containers available, the approximate volume, the home size they’re appropriate for, and dimensions. 20′ Container40′ Container40′ HC Container1000 Cubic Feet2000 Cubic feet2400 Cubic Feet1400 Sq Ft Home2800 Sq Ft Home3200 Sq Ft Home7.75′ x 7.75′ x 19.5′7.75′ x 7.75′ x 39.5′7.75′ x 8.75′ x 39.5′ Containers are periodically checked by the shipping lines for water-tight integrity. Temperatures inside the container vary depending on season, route, and placement on the vessel. Temperatures have had little-to-no effect on our client’s shipments. Two Types of Container Shipment? We offer two types of container shipments — full-service packing and self-packing — as explained below. Full-Service Packing Container Shipment Full-service packing container shipments are overwhelmingly the most popular container shipping option — for obvious reasons. This full-service shipment includes all the boxes and wrapping supplies to completely pack and wrap your household goods. It also includes full delivery services in Israel. Click HERE for a crisp diagram of a full-service container shipment. Self-Packing Container Shipment Self-packing container shipments are a great way to save money — assuming you have the skills to do it successfully. Assuming there is access and room for parking, a self-packed container is brought to the residence for loading. Our crews can load a 20′ container in 3 to 4 hours. Self-loading is also available. We allow 4 hours of loading time or, if possible, drop off the container for a couple of days of loading. Full-service delivery is included with a self-packed container shipment. International Shipping International shipping is accomplished via a network of qualified moving and shipping agents located throughout the world. The following applies to our aliyah-based agents : Container shipping charges are a flat rate. If required, warehouse storage is available before shipping. You receive 30 days of free warehouse storage. Customs clearance and delivery services are handled by a trustworthy, English-speaking Israeli company. Affiliated Moving Agents Our network of affiliated moving agents provides excellent packing services in areas not serviced by our aliyah-based agents. Our network includes United and Bekins agents, but the majority of our local packing services are with Atlas agents. They provide quality services at reasonable rates — a winning combination. The following applies to our affiliated moving agents : Packing charges are based on weight. If required, warehouse storage is available. Customs clearance and delivery services are handled by a trustworthy, English-speaking Israeli company. Household goods weigh between 6 and 8 lbs per cubic foot. A 20′ container weighs between 6000 and 8000 lbs. [H3] The Process Packing & Loading With our aliyah-based agents, your container shipment includes full-service packing, including all the boxes and supplies (VIDEO) — everything. An organized home and a clear understanding of what is being shipped are optimum for efficiency and accuracy. An inventory of your shipment will be made. Tips are always appreciated. You may ship more or fewer items than originally planned as long as everything fits in the container. IMPORTANT : Secure all important documents, passports, visas, tallit/tefillin in a location where the crew will not be working. IMPORTANT : It is crucial to do a walk-through before the crew leaves to ensure everything has been packed and loaded. Self-packed boxes should be left unsealed so the contents can be verified for the inventory. Self-packed items cannot be insured for damages. (Most people only self-pack goods that aren’t broken like books or clothes.) Your container will be loaded at your residence unless storage is required or it’s not possible to position a container at your home or any other extenuating circumstances. IMPORTANT : The coronavirus has had an impact on the shipping industry resulting in chassis and/or container shortages, sailings being canceled, inconsistent port regulations and procedures, and more. Shipping to Israel Once your container has been loaded is returned to the local port or rail depot. Rail depots throughout North America transport containers to the port. The rail travel times adds on approximately one week. Travel times vary depending on the port and the shipping line. You can learn more about travel times HERE Port Storage Container shipments are allowed 4 days of free storage at the port. However, since most deliveries are 5 to 8 days after arrival port storage charges will apply — even if you are prepared to receive your shipment. In our proposal, we recommend budgeting for 3 extra days of port storage. Potential Delivery Charges There are industry-standard potential delivery charges based on situations that exceed a normal delivery Please keep them in mind when looking for your home in Israel. Delivery above the 2nd floor without an elevator. (This included outside steps as well.) Carrying a long distance from the container to the residence. Shuttle delivery due to the inability to position the container reasonably close to the residence. Non-electric bike or scooter form — if applicable. Learn more about tax-free, taxable, and items forbidden to be imported HERE Customs clearance is completed via email. SUB-PAGE (https://aliyahlift.com/timing/) Timing Your Shipment – Aliyah Lift Shipping
[H3] Timing Your Shipment Initial Evaluation & Decluttering Decluttering and determining what you plan to ship cannot be started soon enough. As you sort through your household goods keep the following in mind: Is it electrically compliant? Do I really want or need it? Is this available in Israel? Will there be space for it? What’s the cost to ship it? Does it cost more or less to buy it in Israel? Remember, slow and steady wins the race! Preliminary Pricing Next, complete this form once you have a clear idea of what you plan to ship. We will follow up with you to review your shipping plans, answer your questions, and determine the approximate volume and cost of your shipment. Scheduling The Big Day In most locations, you should schedule your shipment 3-4 weeks prior to your pick up. However, shipments from local NY/NJ with a pick up between May and August should be scheduled 6 weeks earlier. It is possible, but not preferable, to schedule your pick up within a week or two. The High Holidays this year are in September and they fall in the middle of the week which greatly reduces the time for files to clear customs or make deliveries. Please review the High Holidays schedule HERE The Big Day – Partial Shipment A small shipment (up to 400 cubic feet) will take half a day and a large shipment (400 to 800 cubic feet) will take a whole day. Partial shipments are returned to the warehouse and stored until there are enough partial shipments to fill a 40′ container. Due to the many variables, it’s difficult to predict when a shipment will be loaded and shipped. Here is a video that explains consolidation and shipping partial shipments: VIDEO The Big Day – Container Shipment Full-service packing/loading of a 20′ container takes 1 to 2 days while a 40′ container takes 2 to 3 days. After the container is loaded it’s returned to the port for 3 to 7 days before being loaded on a vessel. Shipments coming from inland cities like Chicago or Denver are returned to the local rail depot and transported to the port. The inland rail travel time and port wait take approximately 8 to 11 days. Sailing from North America to Israel Sailing times from North America to Israel vary depending on the port’s location, the shipping line’s schedule, the route, and if there is a transshipment (layover and vessel switch). Here’s a list of typical sailing times: New York : 30 days Savannah : 26 days Miami : 43 days Houston : 36 days Los Angeles : 45 days Seattle : 43 days Again, these times are approximate and can change without warning or notice. The Customs Clearance Process Customs clearance is simply the completion of a few forms and is done via email. The process can be initiated once your shipment is on the water however, your completed documents cannot go to Customs until your shipment has arrived. Typically, it takes 1 to 3 business days for Customs to review and process your file. Delivery Partial shipments are unloaded into the port’s bonded warehouse and kept there until delivery. Typically delivery is 1 to 2 weeks after the vessel arrives. Container shipments are typically delivered 5 to 8 days after arrival. Countdown Widget A great tool for staying organized and keeping track of upcoming events is the Countdown Widget for Android. You can download it HERE. I Have Questions Request a Quote

Your Diagnosis
Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.
Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)
These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.
Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.
Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.
Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.
Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.
Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.
Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.

Logistics, Transport & Shipping BS: Aliyah Lift Shipping (aliyahlift.com)
Aliyah Lift Shipping is a high-substance, low-fluff operation that prioritizes logistical transparency over marketing polish. While its technical SEO and schema implementation are amateur, the depth of its operational documentation suggests a business built on actual service rather than lead-generation hot air.
First, implement Organization and LocalBusiness schema with sameAs links to official shipping registries or business licenses to bridge the authority gap. Second, add H1 tags to all pages containing the primary service and location (e.g., ‘Partial Shipments to Israel’) to fix the structural hierarchy. Third, replace the internal review count with a live link to an external, third-party review aggregator to eliminate trust theatre. Fourth, provide a specific insurance summary or liability limit document instead of just stating that ‘self-packed items cannot be insured.’
The site perfectly matches the Logistics, Transport & Shipping category, specifically targeting the niche relocation market of Aliyah (immigration to Israel). The content is saturated with industry-specific terms like LCL (Less than Container Load), gross volume calculations, and customs brokerage details.
“The score of 33 is primarily driven by the 'Trust and Proof' and 'Identity and Authority' pillars. While the site is exceptionally high in information density and specificity (saving it from a higher score), the lack of verified external proof paths and weak technical schema implementation prevents it from reaching the 'Minimal BS' (1-19) range.”
