What is Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and why does it matter now?

GEO — also called AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) — is the discipline of structuring your brand's content, authority signals, and digital presence so that AI systems cite, surface, and recommend you when users ask relevant questions. Where traditional SEO optimised for ten blue links, GEO optimises for a single, authoritative answer. As AI-powered search becomes the default entry point for high-intent B2B queries, brands without an AI citation strategy are simply invisible in that channel. The window to establish early authority is open now and narrowing.

Do you offer traditional SEO services?

Yes, but always in service of a broader authority-building strategy rather than as an isolated tactic. Conventional on-page and technical SEO remains a foundation — it feeds the trust signals that AI systems draw on. We do not offer SEO as a commodity service; it is embedded in our AI visibility and content authority work. If you are looking for a low-cost link-building agency, we are likely not the right fit.

Can you help with content strategy and creation?

What is the minimum engagement?

We do not offer free discovery calls that run for hours — initial consultations are scoped and compensated, because the thinking itself is the product.

How long does a typical engagement last?

Project engagements typically run 6 to 12 weeks depending on scope. Retainers are structured in 3-month minimums to allow enough runway to move the metrics that matter. AI visibility and authority-building are compounding disciplines — the first month establishes infrastructure, the second builds signals, and the third begins to show measurable citation and traffic movement. Do you sign NDAs?

Can AI visibility be 'gamed' or is this a sustainable practice?

The short answer: genuine authority cannot be gamed, and that is precisely why we pursue it. Our company already has good Google rankings. Do we still need GEO?

Information Density

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Semantic Alignment

Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.

Trust & Proof

Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.

Commodity Fingerprint

Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.

Identity & Authority

Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.
