[IMG: mmg-Illustration2022-18] [H1] Working with Us [H2] Methodology Our agency’s services are grounded in the inbound approach that focuses on helping audiences who are most likely to become your customers solve their problems. Specifically, inbound marketing is defined by the following features: [IMG: iconAsset 39] Non-interruptive: strives to assist potential customers rather than interrupt what they’re doing [IMG: iconAsset 32] Targeted: seeks to help those actively seeking solutions rather than capturing the attention of potentially disinterested audiences [IMG: iconAsset 8] Primarily digital: employs mostly digital tactics such as digital content creation, SEO, & email marketing [IMG: iconAsset 27] Long-term results: emphasizes sustainability over short-term wins Learn more about inbound marketing [IMG: platinum-color-tight] [H3] A lot of digital marketing agencies offer inbound marketing, but we’ve been in the game since 2011, when we became an official partner of HubSpot. Today, our Platinum Solutions Partner status is the result of our success in building effective inbound programs and websites for clients large and small. Read our reviews on HubSpot [H2] Why our size is your advantage Unlike other agencies, we don't prioritize the growth of our team over the quality of our work. We're intentionally positioned in the "Goldilocks zone" of marketing agencies — not so large that you become lost in the shuffle, but not so small that we can't deliver comprehensive solutions. What does this mean for your business? [IMG: iconAsset 16] Consistent team relationships Unlike larger agencies where account managers frequently rotate, our team members build lasting relationships with your business. You'll work with the same people who understand your goals, challenges, and industry — eliminating the constant "getting up to speed" and revolving door of account managers that plagues big agencies who force their clients to deal with their growing pains. [IMG: iconAsset 30] Actual custom solutions — not cookie-cutter approaches Large agencies often standardize their services to scale quickly, sacrificing what's best for their clients to make things easier for themselves. As a mid-size agency, we can afford to be flexible, using our experience to make recommendations tailored to your specific needs rather than forcing you into predetermined service packages. [IMG: iconAsset 42] Refreshingly responsive communication You'll never be routed to a distant support desk. Our clients consistently note our exceptional responsiveness, whether it's working in HubSpot or making quick campaign adjustments, the team that knows your business will be there to help. [IMG: icon-htmlAsset 5] Full-service capabilities in-house Unlike smaller agencies or freelancers who very often subcontract some (or increasingly all) of their specialized work, we maintain comprehensive in-house expertise across web development, content creation, HubSpot implementation, and digital advertising — ensuring consistent quality and seamless execution. [IMG: iconAsset 33] [H3] 1. Discovery meeting We’ll meet with you to learn more about your company, find out what’s working and not working for your business, and identify specific problems you want to fix and/or goals you want to achieve. [IMG: iconAsset 32] [H3] 2. Strategy assessment Next, we use our first scope of work to do a deep dive into your company, goals, buyers, competition, and the search engine landscape in your industry. From this research, we’re able to put together a custom strategy tailored to your needs, which we deliver in a 20-30 page PDF. This includes findings and recommendations for achieving your goals on your timeline. Should you choose to continue with us, we’ll start to put together a plan for implementing these recommendations together, which usually involves two phases of work. [IMG: iconAsset 7-1] [H3] 3. Foundation phase The second scope of work lays the foundation for everything else, ensuring we have everything needed for the recommended strategy laid out in the strategy assessment to succeed. For example, this might involve refreshing, rebuilding, or augmenting a website, setting up new ad campaigns and associated assets, setting up marketing automation, or onboarding and integrating software platforms. [IMG: iconAsset 39] [H3] 4. Builder phase After we’ve laid the groundwork, we use our third scope of work to implement recommendations from the strategy assessment that require ongoing time commitment, such as content creation, email marketing, and advertising campaign management. This typically takes the form of an annual retainer agreement that includes up to a certain number of hours, billed monthly. [IMG: mmg-fda-CS-Cover-01] “I would like to share with you my absolute pleasure in working with your team. They are extremely responsive and their output is amazing. Transparency [H2] FAQs [IMG: iconAsset 9] Do you outsource? Very rarely. We have in-house expertise in web design, website development, copy and content writing, HubSpot services, digital advertising, and more. However, we sometimes work with outside designers and developers in these narrow use cases: In the early stages of website design, we sometimes bring in trusted outside designers to work on concepting to give our clients more options for the visual direction we're taking the site. This helps us avoid design groupthink and results in a better end product. We work with trusted partners to provide video production and animation services. [IMG: iconAsset 34] Do you have any experience in our industry? We have served clients in many industries such as IT, biotechnology, B2B consulting, franchise, real estate, manufacturing, legal, and home services. Check out our case studies for more details. [IMG: iconAsset 42] What is your process for creating content? What if our industry is complex? We employ a journalistic approach to content creation that relies heavily on information sourced directly from subject matter experts (SMEs) at your company. Interviews are recorded and turned into a transcript, which we then use to create a draft. Experts and other members of your team have the opportunity to provide feedback and/or edit before content is published. In this way, our team molds expert knowledge into an engaging, consumable format. [IMG: icon-htmlAsset 5] Which CMS platforms do you build websites on? We build primarily on HubSpot CMS as it offers a user-friendly content editor and integrates seamlessly with HubSpot’s suite of marketing, sales, and service tools. For simpler website projects for clients that do not need the marketing, sales or service tools that HubSpot offers, we use Webflow CMS. [IMG: mmg-illustration-pricing] [H2] Learn more about pricing. SUB-PAGE (https://madisonmarketing.com/inbound-marketing/) B2B Inbound Marketing Services | Madison Marketing Group
[H1] Marketing Services Inbound Marketing B2B inbound marketing focused firmly on generating a qualified pipeline To win business in complex industries today, you need to be able to understand and address your prospects’ needs—sometimes before they know they need a solution. Enter inbound marketing. The philosophy is simple: generate and capture demand for your product or service by demonstrating how and why it’s the best solution to your prospects’ challenges. Inbound marketing changes the way companies generate opportunities and grow by attracting qualified traffic, converting those people into leads, and nurturing those leads into pipeline and revenue as opportunities and customers. Inbound blends channels and content like social media, blogging, email marketing, videos, and landing pages while more thoughtfully utilizing traditional advertising tools that otherwise prove wasteful and largely ineffective. Skip to Service Menu [H2] Inbound 101 Inbound is an approach to marketing that acknowledges a basic fact: the effectiveness of many traditional B2B outbound channels—on their own—has been steadily declining while simultaneously costing more. Outbound doesn’t align with how B2B buyers buy anymore. The way buyers research and discover products has fundamentally changed. Today’s buyers have—and expect to have—abundant access to information. They want to execute the buying process partly, mostly, or completely on their own. Inbound enables companies to attract those buyers by giving them the information they need to make informed decisions. It streamlines and scales the buying process itself by giving prospects the tools to guide themselves through it—and then engage with companies on their terms. Inbound acknowledges that buyers have more power over the buying process now, and gives companies a competitive advantage by respecting that power and giving buyers what they want. Unlike outbound marketing, inbound marketing is focused on attracting potential customers to you rather than interrupting them in an increasingly difficult and expensive bid for attention. By clearly communicating your value, and creating and promoting content aligned with your customers’ needs and interests, inbound generates qualified inbound traffic you can convert, close, and delight over time in a way that’s sustainable. Unlike traditional outbound, which stops delivering the moment you stop investing in it, good inbound pays dividends for years to come. [H2] AI search isn't replacing inbound marketing — it's amplifying it The rise in AI tools is changing how people search, not the fundamentals of how you win visibility. More users are starting research journeys with AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini), but AI answers still depend heavily on crawling and indexing your content. Content the foundation AI search stands on. When buyers use tools like ChatGPT or Gemini to research on their own, those systems pull from the same sources inbound marketing has always focused on: clear website content, educational articles, third-party mentions, reviews, and expert commentary. In other words, AI search surfaces the results of good inbound work, not shortcuts around it. Inbound content now does double duty: It helps buyers self-educate and provides the raw material AI systems use to answer questions, recommend vendors, and shape perceptions before a prospect ever visits your site. Brands that invest in clear, authoritative, genuinely helpful inbound content are more likely to be cited, summarized, and remembered in AI-driven discovery. The principle hasn’t changed: meet buyers where they are, answer their questions, and earn trust over time. The difference is that AI is often the first reader of your content — and the first voice your buyer hears. More on Our Approach to Inbound [H2] Why do inbound with us [IMG: iconAsset 42] [H5] Attract the right prospects Sales teams shouldn’t spend time trying to sell to people who aren’t ready to—or will never—buy. Our approach to marketing drives buying processes at scale and generates demand for your solutions each step of the way. [IMG: iconAsset 14] [H5] Convert more qualified leads A “lead” should mean something. It should be someone who wants to—or should want to—engage with your business. We bring you more of these leads. [IMG: iconAsset 41] [H5] Hit your revenue targets Leads are a means to your real goal: revenue. Everything we do flows from your revenue goals, which are constantly measured and optimized to understand what’s working (so we can do more of it) and what’s not, so we can reinvest in what does. [H1] Marketing Services Web Design and Development Build a website that aligns structure, content, design, and user experience to generate leads and sales opportunities. [IMG: mmg-Illustration2023-WebDev-04] Most company websites don’t reflect the way people and businesses buy things today. Prospects expect to find just about all the information they need before they ever fill out a form, send an email, or pick up the phone. They expect websites to allow them to research and buy on their terms—and they expect those websites to be fast and easy to use. Yet many companies fail to see the opportunity their website affords them. Rather than build a website that’s fast, clear, easy to navigate, and information-rich, they see it as a cost center. They guard the information their prospects are looking for behind their salespeople. We build on the principles of inbound marketing to turn your company’s website into the 24/7 marketing and sales machine it ought to be—letting customers explore you and your products or services the way they want to while generating and capturing demand through educational content that satisfies the desire for information across the entire buyer’s journey. [H2] Our approach to web design and development Simply put, we design and build sites that are companies’ best salespeople, advocates, and points of referral for new and engaged prospects. That means having all the mechanisms in place to attract, convert, and nurture leads you can close faster and with less effort. Our team can help you to craft a website that streamlines your back-end processes, too. Let us help you create something you and your prospects love—that drives revenue 24x7. [H3] High-performance builds Our development team delivers optimal page load speeds, ensuring the best conditions for SEO and UX. [H3] Clear, conversion-focused copy We replace confusing corporate speak with clear messaging—and convey the complex with welcome concision. [H3] SEO We make the website the center of your SEO strategy, baking search optimizations into every component. [H3] Timeless design Our designs look great and function well for years, giving your brand the home it deserves on the web. Uncommon in-house development Many agencies subcontract their design development work to unnamed resources whose quality and reliability can’t be guaranteed. We don’t. And that gives you the assurance of high-quality, highly-controlled work completed by trusted professionals. A focus on your goals first The sites we build are a direct reflection of our clients’ goals, not the same template that’s been rinsed and repeated 100 times. We start every web project by understanding your goals in detail and building your site to address each. Options to fit your needs Our design and development services aren’t one-size-fits-all. 🔗 Identity & Technical Layer — schema JSON-LD: identity chains, entity gaps (Identity & Authority)
Your Diagnosis
Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.
Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)
These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.
Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.
Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.
Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.
Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.
Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.
Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.

Marketing, SEO & Advertising Agencies BS: Madison Marketing Group (www.madisonmarketing.com)
Madison Marketing Group is a high-substance agency that successfully avoids the ‘hot air’ trap common in digital marketing. While the technical SEO of their own site (schema) and team naming are surprisingly absent, their reliance on hard client data makes them a credible outlier in a fluff-heavy industry.
1. Add Organization and Person schema to all pages to resolve the technical credibility gap in their own development expertise. 2. Replace the ‘Goldilocks’ and ‘right-sized’ cliches with a specific staff-to-client ratio to prove the claim of personalized attention. 3. Include a direct outbound verification link to the HubSpot Partner Directory to substantiate Platinum status. 4. Introduce a ‘Meet the Team’ section with specific career histories for key specialists to eliminate the anonymous agency feel.
The website demonstrates a high degree of industry alignment with the Marketing, SEO & Advertising Agencies category. The content is heavily specialized in B2B lead generation, HubSpot CRM implementation, and inbound methodology, consistently using industry-standard terminology that matches the provided patterns.
“The score of 27 was driven primarily by strong proof density and semantic coherence, which neutralized many of the industry cliches. The points lost in Identity and Authority (Step 5) and Information Density (Step 1) were due to missing structured data and a few instances of fluffy heading language.”
