SUB-PAGE (https://deevalleyvets.com/about-us/) About Us – Dee Valley Vets
[H3] Our Practice Our practice opened its doors early in the 19th Century and has been growing ever since. For many years the surgery established itself above the town overlooking the Dee Valley near to the canal, until it moved down into the town in 2009. The practice initially undertook almost entirely farm animal and horse work, but over the decades family pet work markedly increased. In order to care for our clients in Corwen and surrounding areas we opened up our branch practice in Corwen. The practices continued to grow with Richard and Sandra Woodhall until 1992 when Clive Bourne joined the partnership. During this time, Acrefair surgery was opened. It was in 2006 that Anne Mann and Clive took the helm and the practices were then no longer known as Woodhall and Bourne but Dee Valley Vets. Shortly after this, Clive and Anne started Rhyn Park Vets, our surgery in St Martins. Whilst Richard and Sandra decided to hang up their stethoscopes for a well-deserved retirement, the doors opened to a new graduate Rebecca Rowe. Rebecca has worked at Dee Valley Vets on and off since 2006. Rebecca has gained experience from other practices including a mixed practice in New Zealand with her partner Clive Patel, until she returned to the practice (permanently this time!) in 2014 and later that same year she was joined by her future husband Clive Patel. Since this time, they have steadily put down roots and been joined by their little girl Evalyn and son Archie. It was in 2019 that Clive and Rebecca took over the practice. Over the years as the practice has grown and changed. We sadly took the decision to close or Acrefair branch in 2023 but we also moved to our new clinic in Corwen in December 2025. Certain other aspects have had to mould to suit the need at the time, however, the ethos and nature of our practice remains the same. We have strived to remain independent thereby providing a close-knit family feel, whilst maintaining a quality service. Our family owned practice has served the local community for many years, thereby creating a close bond with our clients and long may this continue. We have always provided our own out of hours service, so if you should need us outside of normal opening hours, the same vets will see you.

🔗 Identity & Technical Layer — schema JSON-LD: identity chains, entity gaps (Identity & Authority)
Your Diagnosis
Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.
Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)
These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.
Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.
Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.
Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.
Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.
Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.
Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.

Pets, Veterinary & Animal Services BS: Dee Valley Vets (www.deevalleyvets.com)
Dee Valley Vets is a high-substance, low-bullshit local business that prioritizes factual history and facility descriptions over marketing jargon. Its score is only elevated by a complete lack of technical authority signals (Schema) and a few generic heading clichés.
Deploy LocalBusiness and Person JSON-LD schema to bridge the technical authority gap. Include the RCVS registration numbers for all four named vets to provide immediate professional verification. Replace generic H3 slogans with specific service-led headings. Provide a small table of ‘starting from’ prices for standard procedures (neutering, consultations) to back up the ‘value for money’ claim.
The site is an exact match for the Veterinary & Animal Services industry, focusing on mixed practice care including domestic pets, horses, and livestock. The content covers specific clinical operations, emergency care, and regulatory compliance (GDPR) consistent with UK veterinary standards.
“The score of 31 reflects a site with high substance but poor technical proof of authority. Information Density and Semantic Coherence scored well due to specific equipment lists and consistent messaging, while the score was primarily driven up by the Identity and Authority pillar (9/15) due to the total absence of structured data.”
This training module utilizes a snapshot of public data from Dee Valley Vets, captured on May 21, 2026, to demonstrate how machine logic evaluates different types of business narratives.
Purpose: This data is presented under “Fair Use” / “Educational Exception” for the purpose of forensic semantic analysis, allowing users to compare human intuition against machine-generated evaluations.
Notice to Dee Valley Vets: This analysis is part of a non-adversarial audit conducted by 1 Euro SEO. The results provided by 1EuroSEO are intended as professional feedback to help improve any website’s machine-readability and authority signals. The 1EuroSEO BS Detection Tool is a free tool, and anyone can test any company to see how their content is interpreted by AI models.
