As an adoptee, Finn understandably came with some significant issues. Aoife's approach was not only effective but so much fun! The improvements were a game changer for us, from something as simple as being able to open the door, without fear of him lunging at my visitors, to helping us find a more relaxed and enjoyable way of living together. Finn now has an arsenal of new tricks he’s learned and I can tell how how much he enjoys training (as do I!). If I think he’s going to react to something, we jump right into our commands. Aoife made it easy and really got our nuancesfrom the get-go. Highly recommend for fellow dog moms and dads! You won’t look back! (Note: pic of Finn is on the homepage) - Withe Thompson I couldn't be happier with the results from dognitive. Our rescue dog, Molly, had some behavior challenges that left us scratching our heads. Aoife's expertise and playful approach turned things around in no time. What sets dognitive apart is the personalised attention and flexibility. Aoife even came to us for sessions, making it convenient for our busy schedule. If you're a dog owner in Dublin, I don’t think you can go wrong with dognitive. - Aoife Dempsey As a first-time dog owner, the prospect of training my lively Frenchie, Rosie, was a bit daunting. Enter dognitive, and suddenly it all became enjoyable! Aoife's knowledge of both dog behavior and nutrition is impressive. The nutritional consultations were a bonus that I hadn't expected. We also got to meet Milo, her gorgeous Golden, who was a key part to helping Rosie walk better on leash. What a gentle giant! Aoife still regularly checks in to make sure everything is still going well with Rosie, which I really appreciate, as I often have a question (or three!) to swing by her. [H2] About Us Home About Us [IMG: 20230823] [IMG: 20231122] [H3] About Dognitive [H2] Our Story Discover the heart and soul behind dognitive. From a lifelong love for dogs to working with shelters and rescues, our founder, Aoife Sheridan, brings a wealth of experience and passion to every training session.“Growing up in Dublin in Ireland, there were always dogs in our lives – but without a doubt, the formative canine relationship was with a stray Irish setter/collie mix called Ginger. He lived to be 16 years of age and was the greatest companion a girl could ask for. Volunteering at the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) gave me the doggo fixes I needed. More recently, my life has been taken over by Milo – a super sweet Golden Retriever. For me, becoming a dog trainer brings two of my greatest passions together – helping dogs live their best lives and working with people, enabling them to forge stronger bonds with their pups.Training in New York was an unbelievable experience, working with such a density of dog and human populations with all range of challenges and opportunities for learning. My apprenticeship with Stacy Alldredge ensured I got both hands on experience and detailed theoretical knowledge. I’m now enjoying sharing that knowledge with my Dublin based dogs and pawrents.” – Aoife Sheridan [H3] Our Approach [H2] How does it work? [H3] 01. That's why we offer flexibility, even coming to you for sessions, ensuring training fits seamlessly into your schedule. [H3] FAQ [H2] Frequently Asked Questions Although I hate the “that depends” response, it really does depend on what’s going on with your dog. Most puppies can be trained in 2-3 sessions, but behavioural issues can vary based on the issue and environment. One point I love to make is that the pace of change is very much driven by how much you, as the parents, are willing to put in. A bit like that gym membership, the more you put in the better the results! I’m very flexible – Dublin wider area and Louth. If you need help with a recommendations for outside of these areas, I’d be happy to recommend someone in my network! This is our standard approach but every situation is unique:Initial call or Zoom to get a handle on what you are struggling with or want to achieve (10 minutes - free of charge).Initial Consultation - 1 hour long session in your home to get an understanding of dog and his/her environment. We'll agree a plan of attack and some initial tasks for you to work on (€150hour - includes detailed notes/action plan) Follow up session - depending on how you and your doggo are progressing, we might need a follow on session to keep you moving in the right direction or as a refresher (€125/hr). Note: The more work you put in, the less sessions will be required. Training sessions are €150/hour for the first session and €125/hour for any follow up sessions.Zoom consultations are €90 for 45 minutes - useful for that first initial chat and exploration of what is going on. The first session is usually a consultation session where I will ask lots of questions to get a handle on your furry friend and what you are looking to achieve. There’s no prep required but it would be good to have the following at the ready – walking gear, toys, along with info on diet and any medications. We practice reward-based, non-aversive training techniques. We want you and your dog to enjoy yourself while you train – our experience is that gets the best long-term results, is the least stressful for your dog and builds a better bond between you and your pup. You bet they do. Most dogs come tearing to the door when they know it's training time. And wait till you see how tired they are after training - the mental stimulation is as good as a work-out for them. I tend to say “never” to this answer. You can teach an old dog “new tricks”, but it will just take longer. With a very old dog, I can help you decide if it’s worth the effort. Dogs tend to love training, so it can be a way to add fun and mental stimulation into their lives as the physical side slows down. Absolutely – happy to help here. It’s all part of the service and often the solution to a problem. Apart from our Board & Train service, no we don’t. I would be happy to recommend some great service providers in the area.Nicky and his team at Pet Angel Sitters are fully insured and 100% reliable. We can train your dog here in Baldoyle (particularly for our Board & Train service) but I tend to train your pup in your home and surrounding area – that is where they will learn fastest and where they’ll have to practice what they’ve learned.

[H2] Successes Home Successes [IMG: Colette & Rocco] Who: Rocco is a male 18 month old Frenchie, cute as a button and full of energy and curiosity. Challenge: Rocco’s mum is 81 and Rocco’s enthusiasm was proving to be a real challenge for her on their walks. He was pulling and wandering all over the place – or “pulling the shoulder off her” as his mum would describe it. She wanted to get back to enjoying her daily walks with the big guy. Solution: The first thing was changed was Rocco’s walking gear – his gear was enabling him to be the boss of his mum, a harness connected to his back. We moved to a front-connected Ruffwear harness to give him less purchase to pull. With that sorted, we started a new approach to walking – no progress for pulling to help Rocco learn that pulling means no progress whereas a nice, slack leash meant he got to keep moving. We also practiced getting him into a tidy Sit when other dogs approached, as he was always very excited to greet them all. Result: Rocco is walking like a hero now and more importantly, he’s not a risk to his mum by pulling too much. Great work Colette and Rocco! Colette & Rocco Containing that energy! [IMG: Finn] Who: Finn is a 6 year old, male terrier cross. A total cutie and bursting with character. Challenge: Finn was a rescue and came with some baggage, not of his own making. He had lots of issues but the two top priorities where stopping from snapping at people (including his adoring owner Withe) and stopping him “losing his mind” when the doorbell rang. Solution: For his air snapping, this was all anxiety based, so we put him on a program of obedience and trick training to build up his confidence and ability to tolerate people in his personal space. It also gave him and his owner a new way to bond and work together. This would also help Withe to manage Finn in high-risk situations – i.e. he now had lots of commands to get Finn focused on him rather than the person Finn was worried about. For the barking at the door, we taught Finn to go to his spot by the door and wait patiently for the person to come through the door. Finn will never be cuddling random strangers, but With and himself now have a much better way of managing their daily life together, ensuring it is way more harmonious and stress-free. Finn Greater harmony at home... [IMG: Marley] Who: Marley is a 5 year old rescue with eyes that would melt the coldest of souls! Challenge: Marley suffered from anxiety – very sensitive to noise and humans. He lives in a lively house with his two dads, his brother Albus and a cat called Hazel who was the boss of everyone, including Marley, who was terrified of her. Solution: For Marley, because we could change his environment (lively and living with a cat) – we worked on obedience and skills training to build up his confidence to enable him to better cope with his environment. It took lots of patience and heaps of love and hard work with his dads, but he transformed into a different dog, much happier in his own skin and able to deal with the energy and liveliness of his household. Marley Coping with anxiety at home

Your Diagnosis
Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.
Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)
These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.
Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.
Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.
Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.
Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.
Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.
Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.
Based on 439 businesses audited.
Dognitive has 2.2 points less BS than the average for Pets, Veterinary & Animal Services.
Pets, Veterinary & Animal Services BS: Dognitive (www.dognitive.ie)
Dognitive is a high-substance business currently hiding behind a low-effort template. The actual service delivery appears expert and transparently priced, but the technical maintenance of the site (broken counters) and reliance on unverified internal reviews create a ‘small business BS’ odor that masks the founder’s genuine qualifications.
Immediately replace the ‘0’ placeholder numbers in the homepage experience counters with actual data. Implement Person schema for Aoife Sheridan, including her certifications and links to verify them on University of Edinburgh or AniEd registries. Integrate third-party review widgets (Google or Trustpilot) to replace the current text-only ‘Pawrents’ testimonials. Finally, remove the generic ‘100% Positive Reviews’ and ‘99%’ statistics, replacing them with a link to a verified review profile.
The site is a perfect match for the Pets, Veterinary & Animal Services category, specifically focusing on canine behavior modification and nutrition. The content details specific training methodologies, such as reward-based and non-aversive techniques, and references regional Dublin/Louth service areas.
“The score of 38 is driven primarily by the high marks in Trust and Proof and Identity and Authority. The technical oversight of the '0' counters and the lack of external verification for reviews (Trust Theatre) prevents this site from achieving a 'Minimal BS' rating, despite the excellent substance found in the case studies and bio sections.”
This training module utilizes a snapshot of public data from Dognitive, captured on May 19, 2026, to demonstrate how machine logic evaluates different types of business narratives.
Purpose: This data is presented under “Fair Use” / “Educational Exception” for the purpose of forensic semantic analysis, allowing users to compare human intuition against machine-generated evaluations.
Notice to Dognitive: This analysis is part of a non-adversarial audit conducted by 1 Euro SEO. The results provided by 1EuroSEO are intended as professional feedback to help improve any website’s machine-readability and authority signals. The 1EuroSEO BS Detection Tool is a free tool, and anyone can test any company to see how their content is interpreted by AI models.
Any company can use the insights for free and improve its voice by comparing it to industry clichés or competitors. When a company has updated its content, it can always submit a new audit request, which will be reflected in a new current score.
To all users: You are encouraged to visit the live site at https://www.dognitive.ie to view the most current version of its content and learn from the source what this company is about and what it offers.
