[H3] What is Aftershoot AI Retouching?
Aftershoot’s AI Retouching tool helps you get your albums ready for delivery. It applies natural, professional-looking finishing touches like skin smoothing, blemish and wrinkle removal, and teeth whitening, across your entire album at once. It’s designed to mimic the subtlety of a human editor, saving you hours while keeping your images true to your style.

Aftershoot AI Retouching delivers natural, delivery-ready results across faces, bodies, clothing, and backgrounds.
It removes acne and blemishes while keeping skin texture intact, softens freckles and pigmentation, and reduces forehead lines, under-eye shadows, and smile lines without losing natural expressions. It can also brighten teeth, enhance eyes, smooth skin, remove glass glare, and clean up stray hairs, all while preserving realistic detail.
Beyond portraits, it also helps clean up the final image with features like cloth wrinkle removal and background object removal for neater frames.
You can also replace headshot backgrounds directly inside Aftershoot, a feature currently in beta.

[H3] Can I batch process a full shoot?
Yes, you can batch retouch easily in Aftershoot. Just open one image in Loupe View and adjust the AI Retouching sliders to your liking. Once you’re happy with the result, select the rest of the images you’d like to apply those edits to from the filmstrip below. Then hit Sync, and all your selected photos will be retouched with the same settings in seconds. It’s a quick way to get consistent results across a full shoot without fine tuning each image one by one.
