As soon as your order is received, one of our experienced pre-press team members is assigned to it. They will review all the details you have provided, including any notes, and will check your artwork to make sure it meets our print requirements.
If the file needs minor adjustments, we will make those changes straight away to ensure that your job prints correctly. If there is a more significant issue, such as image quality, file format or sizing, we will contact you by email to explain the problem and request updated artwork. We will never send a job to print without these essential checks, so you can be assured that your order is in safe hands.
When placing your order, please use the notes section to add any special requests or instructions. This could include details about finishing, artwork adjustments, delivery requirements or anything else that will help us produce exactly what you need. Printed and finished in the same as our premium pvc. Event banner uses different banner material which is suited more for short to mid-term promotions and events. If you have a festival or a short term promotion then the event banner is an ideal purchase.

[H4] Mesh PVC
PVC Mesh is a very popular product and it great for when wind is an issue especially if the rear of the banner is exposed meaning air can easily pass through from to back. PVC mesh has tiny holes in the surface which massively reduces wind loading making these banners perfect for railings, scaffolding, construction settings and general windy locations.

[H4] Double Sided PVC Banners
Double sided PVC banners are made from heavy duty 650gsm block-out material. The block-out layer prevents colour show-through, so designs on each side stay clear and unaffected by the other. Double sided banners are a practical choice for locations where visibility from multiple directions is important.
They are mostly used for scaffold banners or hanging banners where both sides will be viewed, and for this reason they are most commonly supplied with pole pockets for secure fixing to scaffolding or cable systems.

We can print banners at any size, but it helps to know the standard sizes many people choose. The most common size is 300 cm x 100 cm. This is about the length of a small car such as a Fiat 500 and works well for most uses.

Our Super Express service is available on certain products, including Express PVC banners, Express Mesh banners and Roller Banners. Orders are printed within 24 hours and dispatched the following working day.

[H4] Free Delivery:
Delivery is free on most UK mainland orders over £250 + VAT. This applies to roll-to-roll products such as banners, vinyls and fabrics.

[H4] Standard Delivery:
For orders under £250 + VAT, delivery is £14.50 for most items. On some roll products there is a surcharge that increases shipping to £20.

[H4] Items Excluded from Free Delivery:
Some products are charged by weight and do not qualify for free delivery. These include:
Deckchairs, Directors’ chairs, Pavement signs, Banner frames, Feather flags and accessories, Café barrier hardware, Scaffold signs, Correx boards, Foamex boards, Dibond boards and Hoarding panels.

[H4] PayPal Addresses:
We only ship to the delivery address entered at checkout, not the one stored in PayPal. Please ensure your shipping details are correct, as we cannot be held responsible for orders sent to the wrong address.

[H4] Turnaround Times:
Most products are delivered within 5–6 working days from order confirmation, payment and receipt of correct artwork (or proof approval). We also offer an Express service on most products with a 2-3 working day turnaround time. Orders confirmed after 1pm are processed the next working day. Larger orders may take longer, so if you have a tight deadline, please contact us before ordering.

[H4] Super Express Banners:
We offer faster turnaround on our express banners of 2 working days. We also offer a 24-hour turnaround, which are dispatched the next day. Orders confirmed after 1pm are processed the next working day.

[H4] Special Delivery Costs:
Deckchairs/Directors’ Chairs: £20 for the first chair, then £5 for each additional chair
Café Barriers: Shipping is calculated based on order size and weight

[H4] Couriers and Delivery
We use APC, UPS, DPD and DX for our deliveries. Please make sure the delivery address entered at checkout is correct and that someone is available to sign for the goods. Couriers will usually attempt delivery twice; after the second attempt, the parcel will need to be collected from the courier’s depot.

Check all goods before signing. Once signed, items are deemed delivered in good condition, and it can be difficult to resolve issues later.

[H3] Double-Sided Blockout Banner
This Double-sided banner material, ideal for double-sided prints (think banners on lamp posts) or where an extremely tough material is required. 650gsm rather than 500gsm, this material also benefits from a block out liner which prevents light show-through.
[H3] Mesh Banner
Larger and more exposed banners will act as a giant sail when the wind hits. Non-mesh products can rip the material from its fixings or cause damage to the structure from which it’s attached. Mesh PVC and Fabric materials benefit from thousands of tiny holes which allow some wind to pass through, thus reducing wind loading.

Which Banner Should I Buy? Premium or Event?
[H3] PVC Vinyl Banners – Installation Methods
Wall Screws
Typically long length screws can be used, with large penny washers over the eyelets to protect the banner. It is vital to achieving the proper tension on banners fitted by this method – too loose and the wind will cause the banner to flap and affect hems and eyelets.
Bungee Ties
Once you have your fixing points on the wall. Typically it is an idea to use large eye or hook bolts – bungee clips or ties can be used to attach to the banner eyelets. This method tensions the banner as well as allowing some ‘give’ when the wind hits, thus protecting hems and eyelets.
Wire Frame & Bungee
A steel wireframe can be run through eye bolts approximately 300mm outside the banner. Once the wire is tensioned, the banner can be fitted using a zig-zag of bungee cord. Bungee Chord gives the effect of a trampoline on its side, tensions the banner and allows some ‘give’ for high winds. An excellent installation method for larger banners on walls.
Banner Design Tips
Banners are first and foremost an advertising medium. The information displayed should be clear to read – consider how far away your target audience will be. To make sure your banner is nicely visible from a distance, the contrast should be high, and typefaces need to be legible. If you try to cram too much information onto a banner, then the text may end up too small to read! Consider placing a QR Code in the design in order to direct viewers to further information. Always save files in a CMYK format. Artwork that is set as RGB will be automatically converted to CMYK.
